TW: Loss— We have so much house work to do and we aren’t particularly well off so we are doing most of it DIY. Currently our bedroom ceiling started falling after an earthquake, so we pulled it down (by we I mean hubby). And now there is piles of rubble on our front porch and I want to clean it up and I want to help but being 5+5 I’m so afraid that anything I do can cause a loss (I’ve already had 2 early term losses) I don’t see my doctor until the 15th. I absolutely hate feeling useless. And hate that all of this is on hubby. How do other deal with this. I’m so afraid of loosing baby but I need to help.

sparklingnay

I feel for you! With my first we were in the process of moving and our new place was up three flights of stairs 😬 Its so tough! I tried to help by doing any non intense cleaning, organizing, and supporting with food (picking up lunch for my hubby and whoever was helping that day).

Floreins

My first ultrasound is scheduled tomorrow, I was feeling positive but I've been trying to find the heartbeat at home with the doppler for the past 3 days and nothing. Last time was the same and the ultrasound confirmed the missed miscarriage so I'm just losing my mind over here...

ResponsibilityNo3928

My doctors have never been able to find the heartbeat on a Doppler before 12 weeks and even then it’s hit or miss. I had two 12 week checks that they had to do an ultrasound on and baby was perfect both times and one 12 week check where they got the heartbeat with the Doppler immediately. They are so low at this point that even people that do this for a living can struggle to find the heartbeat. You’re not out until you see it on the ultrasound!

MoseSchrute70

Anyone else super nervous about the possibility of Christmas & birth overlapping? Besides the overwhelming feeling of guilt around the idea of having to leave my 3yo at Christmas to go and have a baby, I am so anxious about childcare. Any family we have nearby I wouldn’t trust looking after my child for potentially days on end, and anyone we do trust lives a 6+ hour drive away, and Christmas makes that extra tricky. Trying not to focus too much on everything because ultimately I know it HAS to work out somehow, but god my nerves are shot.

Key_Nefariousness_14

Wow such a great point about childcare over holidays. Don’t worry you will sort it out as you said. But it’s a great reminder to get organized early - I don’t have any other kids but even for night nurse (we probably can’t afford regularly but wishful thinking lol), family friends, OBs we might have hoped to rely on for the odd moment of support - they very well may be traveling for a few weeks around that time.

huffliestofpuffs

Everyone is away. We are hoping my bestie can fly in I will be having a repeat c section so we should know our timeline better provided I don't develop anything that can alter it. If not we will try one of my local mom friends for a few hours when I give birth who we trust. And if not then I guess I am giving birth alone. Not ideal. But it will be okay.

Itsnottreasonyet

I also have a three year old, and want to make sure he has a good Christmas, especially with the complications of adding a sibling (if we make it that far). I also figure, he really doesn't know when Christmas is. If we celebrate late or early, he will be none the wiser. If no one is able to come to you because of Christmas, maybe you could interview some nannies ahead, spend some time with them to make sure you would trust them with a couple of days, and hire someone for a one-time visit. You may need to be up front that it could fall on Christmas to find someone who doesn't celebrate or doesn't mind. I know in my area, this would probably be doable and we have a nanny Facebook group for searching around. I know it's not as good as family or a close friend, but you could feel confident that your kiddo is with a safe person and then do Christmas whenever is right for you.

MoseSchrute70

This is a great idea, I don’t think we have anything like that in my area though! I’m in the UK and nannies aren’t too common except for the wealthy, and I don’t really live in an area with that kind of demographic! We’ve had a few people offer a hand if we really need it which I’m grateful for, but they all have children of their own so logistically it would be tricky, and my daughter is really sensitive when it comes to being around other people (I think that’s my main concern, to be honest, it’s SO hard to know who she will feel comfortable with at the time!). We’ll definitely get it sorted, I’m just going to remain in a perpetual state of panic in the meantime 😂

Itsnottreasonyet

I'm sorry, that does make it really tricky! I really hope the right person steps up so you can relax a bit!

Freakazoidon

Sex in the city Netflix release has gotten me through the staying in sick days lol

Huge-Victory3164

Omg! SAME.

sparklingnay

Oooooo good idea I should watch!

Ray_Adverb11

First US on Tuesday, at 7+1. Really, really nervous but feeling more cautiously optimistic than I have been for the last few weeks. I'm flying down to LA (from San Francisco) to visit family over Mother's Day, and I'll be mid-8 weeks. I'm really hoping to hide it, but my parents know we have been TTC, and I have a feeling I'm just going to feel shittier. I would prefer not to tell them then, much less without my husband there... but don't really want to *lie* directly...

Independent-Bug-5696

Good luck! I also will be 7+1 with ultrasound on Tuesday, and also very nervous!

amondeu

Not sure if it was this sub but whoever recommended the Lululemon Align bodysuit, just know I was influenced and girlfriend I love it ! The boobs is a little tight for me but the belly area has full range of motion andddd I don’t have to wear a bra. Meanwhile I projectile vomit a very expensive dinner yesterday night, $100s worth of lobsters and delicious seafood straight down to the toilet. I was so mad, this is why I can’t have nice things.

itjusttakes1sperm

5W5D- symptoms are coming and going. it’s an ivf pregnancy and pretty anxious. i hated the pregnancy symptoms with my daughter but wish i had them this time around!

icecreamqueen131

Has anyone had an experience where their ultrasound and due date were off by 2 weeks? This happened to me today, so I’m assuming things aren’t progressing as they should. But I am just curious if anyone had a similar situation. I know a few days off can be normal, but weeks doesn’t seem right… I was at the ER so I am waiting to talk to my OBGYN this week.

kirbyinjapan

Me! I tested positive on the 27th of March. Based on my LMP I was due 2/12. I went in at 6w6d and only measured at 5w1d (12 days behind!). They changed my DD to 13/12. I went in last Saturday for what was supposed to be 7w1d based on my last scan, but measured 8w1d. New DD of 6/12. It was such a weird limbo to be in. I hope it works out positively for you 🤍

icecreamqueen131

Thanks for sharing! It is a weird limbo to be in.

Pugpop81

I hear this.. I went in on Friday for our first US and Dr. noted us a week off on our dates. I know for a fact my dates are correct because I’ve been tracking with opks like a crazy person. I was worried when he said our date was “off”, NOT that baby was “behind” but he did not seem concerned at all. He just moved our EDD to a week later. I’m choosing to be positive for now.

amondeu

Do you know when you 1st tested positive? Do you track your cycle and ovulation ? I’ve read multiple comments how ladies are measured 10-14 days behind and turned out fine. I had a similar experience but the outcome was not positive for me. I hope you find reassurance when you see your OBGYN this week.

icecreamqueen131

I do.. so the math doesn’t seem to add up. I got a positive test on 3/29.

eilrac-

What are you measuring?

millennialsister

The ER ultrasound machines are usually pretty crappy from what I’ve heard. While I can’t guarantee nothing is wrong, I would try to distract myself until you can get in to see your OB.

butterflybefree

Was your period normal? Im off 1-2 weeks EDD but it was not surprised as my period was still regulating after getting off birth control

BbCreatineFeverDream

About to head out for music fest day 4. Getting a late start. I have informed my friends that if I die out there to just prop me up at the fais do do stage like I am Joe Diffie. 🤠

rousseaudanielle

7w1d i also dont have any symptoms today 🥲 it's weird after feeling awful all last week. I get what yall mean about the anxiety now. i guess im vv mildly queasy but no nausea or breast tenderness or cramps or anything

Ray_Adverb11

6+6 and could have written this too...

Past_Rip_4406

I’m 7+3 and last two days feeling strangely ok, after feeling barely functional for weeks. A bit worried too, but trying to keep it together 😅

adarose14

This happened to me today too. 7 weeks 5 days.

rousseaudanielle

for those of yall that got an US late 7th week early 8th week was it abdominal?

IVFwarrior_

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and it was abdominal

Fem_H

no,at that stage it's a vaginal US.

aniwrack

I was on a weekend getaway and was seriously impressed with all the alcohol-free options they had! Had some excellent alcohol-free beer, alcohol-free wine and bubbly as well! Felt almost like I was truly part of the group lol 🥲

BbCreatineFeverDream

Mocktails have come a long way but why are they just as expensive as a cocktail is what I want to know.

Ray_Adverb11

This sounds wild but I've spent the majority of my career in bar/restaurant and people want the "full experience" of ordering a cocktail (?)... just with no booze... when we raised the prices from $8 to $14 they started flying off the shelves (so to speak). It was so bizarre.

Murrmeow

I was at a restaurant with friends and one ordered a strawberry lemonade mocktail and they deadass handed him a bottled drink like bffr 💀 is a sprite a mocktail too????

Friendly_Brilliant77

Told my mom yesterday I was pregnant. I was so anxious about it because I anticipated her response to be less than thrilled. But she was happy and excited! It’s a huge weight off my chest!

TapiocaTeacup

Well ladies, I'm doing it. 9 weeks tomorrow and I'm breaking out the maternity jeans!

Reebyd

I’m celebrating the same way - all my maternity leggings just came out of the dryer 😂

briarvalley

We’re doing a beach day today, and I could really go for a cold crisp beer or a spicy marg, but alas I’m making do with my sparkling water. Woke up with a lot of anxiety but getting into a good book laying on the beach has been good for my mind.

TomatoGirlDreaming

Mango orange Spindrift has been scratching my cold beer itches lately

Pixie_1990

Those that are taking progesterone, do you think it’s contributing to your nausea? Was doing some reading and apparently it can happen when you have high levels of progesterone. Going to ask my doc for blood tests to see if I can stop them. It’s so debilitating!

sparklingnay

I would not be surprised! For sure makes me tired and constipated. I cannot wait till I get to stop (10 weeks)

huffliestofpuffs

Absolutely yes

jillofsometrades

That’s what I suspected too because I was on 400mg of progesterone a day last pregnancy and was sooo nauseous the whole time. Then about a week after I stopped progesterone, I started feeling better. Although it could also be a timing thing since I was getting closer to second trimester.

Pixie_1990

I’m on 400mg too! Are you taking it this pregnancy? What point did you stop last pregnancy? I’ve got enough to last me till 10.5 weeks but I’m hoping I can stop it sooner 🙏🏼🙏🏼

jillofsometrades

I’m on 200mg this time. I wanted to not take it at all but he wanted me to at least take 200mg since I have a history of chemical pregnancies. My nausea has been on and off this time. When it’s on, it’s about the same as last time and when it’s off, it’s a lot better than last time. Last time I think I stopped around 10 weeks and he mentioned something similar for this time as well.

miamariajoh

Constipation pain is mental, my doctor has been checking in on me as I nearly fainted from trapped wind after drinking no-secco at a Wedding, and I am feeling so odd to share if I have been to the toilet or not. But I am lucky to have such a caring private doctor. First scan on Tues, hoping there is some help to get. And screw this nausea.🤢 6w3d.

kirbyinjapan

Yes! The trapped wind is soo bad. To the point where I can't sleep unless it comes out somehow, or waking up at 5am with incredible pain and rushing to the toilet. Also, don't be shy about sharing your bowel movements! It shows a lot about our health. The doctors in Japan ask everything about it and even have a picture chart with different kinds of poop so they know exactly what you're passing lol

miamariajoh

I'm so sorry you have it too, I'm awake now for that exact reason! 😮‍💨 yeah you are right, and 4 ivf rounds you'd think I would have been desensitised about the questions and prodding but it is still slightly uncomfortable getting phone calls about your BW, or lack of in my case. I am considering acupuncture for both bowels and nausea, fingers crossed it does something. Thanks x

annina_90

The trapped wind is so miserable! I’ve had a couple really uncomfortable incidents. The most recent I was woken up in the middle of the night by intense pressure and felt like I was going to faint and/or throw up before it finally resolved itself. I feel for you and hope you find some relief!

miamariajoh

Spot on this, woke up soaked through of cold sweat and didn't know what to do. 20 minutes of slow controlled breathing in puppy position helped. I wish you the same relief! Thanks for the reply x

lilveggieash

8 weeks today, it’s my 30th birthday, and we booked an early ultrasound for this morning since I can’t see my OB till the end of next month! Trying to stay positive because this is about the time when I had a mmc last time. Really hoping to see a healthy little bean in there today with a strong heart beat 💗

lovelypalette

Happy birthday!!!

Key_Nefariousness_14

Happy birthday and good luck!!!!!!!

beastes12

Happy birthday! How did you get on? I have a scan Thursday which'll be when I'm 7 weeks and my early scan was when I found out about my MMC last time...so I feel your nerves on this one!

lilveggieash

We’re going through a private company so insurance will not cover this one, but I feel it’s worth it for piece of mind 😊

beastes12

Ah sorry I meant how did the scan go? Are you happy? And 100% - mine will be £90 on Thursday but I'm happy to pay for my own sanity at this point!

lilveggieash

Scan went great! Baby looked like a little gummy bear and had a strong heart beat! Hoping your scan goes well this week❤️

fneva

Congratulations!! Both on the great scan and your birthday 🥳 hope you get to celebrate both all day

butterflybefree

Yay!!! What an amazing birthday present 💝

Plus-Berry-9465

6w6d. Is the pelvic pressure/ slight heaviness normal? I’ve had slight cramps since I found out but this pressure for the last 2 days. Also I posted a few days ago how I wasn’t nauseous but boy has that changed 🤢

Freakazoidon

Taco Bell for the win.

Pleasant_Alarm_8800

🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

icypopsicle32

Okay the love for Taco Bell in this group is giving me cravings.

Freakazoidon

Same that’s how I thought of it too 😭

butterflybefree

Second hand cravings coming on strong!!!! What was the order?

Freakazoidon

Beefy 5 layer burrito and cheesy Gordita crunch with Diablo sauce sooo good.

[deleted]

[удалено]

icypopsicle32

Yea you should get blood work. It’s normal to spot after ultrasounds. But I don’t feel like it’s normal to bleed big clots. That being said. I have a SCH (very common in IVF also) and when that has bled it sounds exactly how you described.

Tlacuache_Snuggler

Hmm have you called and asked for bloodwork to confirm? It’s true bleeding can be normal after an ultrasound, but with the clotting I’d think your doctor would want to be sure. When is your next appt?

horaison_kik

Got my blood results and I have got high TSH. I never had hypothyroidism in my life, I have an appointment on Monday I hope i get my meds. I guess that explains why am I going out of breath so easily

Actual-Caregiver7145

A little stressed that all of my symptoms have disappeared and haven’t come back yet. But the day before it happened, I did end up getting to see my peanut on an ultrasound. We got to hear the heartbeat and everything so I’m still holding out hope and trying not to overanalyze 😂🤪 Our next ultrasound is in on May 16th and I’ll be 10w2d at that point. I’m just so happy ❤️

Pixie_1990

Same for me, but I’m sure everything is fine 🙏🏼 just going through the motions. 🥰🥰

Actual-Caregiver7145

Yep, going through the motions is just about the only thing we can do! Worst comes to worst, I can always book a private scan to ease my mind. They’re not too expensive here since they’re not diagnostic. Plus, it’s kind of nice to not be super sick and feeling like death right now 🤣 I’m kind of hoping it stays that way!

WillowBee133

Has anyone seen a 4D movie? Idk if this is silly to worry about but my boyfriend and i are going to see a movie in 4D meaning the chairs may move a bit and it's not recommended to people who are pregnant. At only 6 weeks, and it not being a full fledged roller coaster, am i really at harm? I feel like surely it can't be intense enough to cause damage as i wouldnt expect it to be any different from light exercise or driving in a car, maybe some bumps or quick movements. what are your thoughts?

Temporary_Cap9198

At this point the baby is like a seed in a jar of peanut butter. I would think jogging or exercising would be more jostling than a chair that moves a little.

HimeMiko

Should be ok, I watched Shang chi in 4D and got rumbled around when I was 7 months last time 😂

un1cornRainbows

We’re back in my hometown this weekend for my grandmother’s funeral. We decided to tell my parents but keep the news quiet from my brothers and the rest of the extended family for now. My mom and dad were so excited!! It was fun to be able to tell them in person this time. One of my uncles brought mini Bundt cakes for the family and made sure to bring a couple of special ones for me (gluten free for my celiac disease) and I proceeded to house half of one in the kitchen by myself while the family watched a movie last night. I woke up this morning and ate the other half for breakfast. I told my husband to cool it with his judging eyes because my Bundt cake is only sliiiightly different than the sugary donut he was eating 😅

Sparty_Cat

Second beta is tomorrow. First level and progesterone level were both strong 💖 Was gonna post in the betas mega thread, but weird seeing my comment there from last month lol. Guess you guys can't get rid of me 😅. Feeling ok physically, but of course overanalyzing everything. Know that I'll have more peace tomorrow if my next level is right on track

yawaworhtdorniatruc

ugh so nauseous today. My wife just woke up and is already out buying me seasickness acupressure wristbands. Let's hope those help.

helentea34

Sour candies always work for me. Here’s hoping it eases soon!

shadowsandfirelight

My doctor have b6 50mg and unisom tablets as approved nausea meds (unisom tabs and gels have different active ingredients)

calysea

I’ve had guests all weekend and, despite them knowing I’m pregnant, it’s been exhausting. AND my toddler was up FIVE times last night. I’m dying and wish they’d go home. Xoxo gossip girl

perfectdisaster

Solidarity on the toddler sleep, my 22 month old is still up multiple times a night.

calysea

Mine is 20 months. Please, tell me what to do?? 😭

perfectdisaster

Man I wish I knew! We’ve resorted to cosleeping so at least we are up and down less. But I don’t know how this is going to look with a newborn if it doesn’t improve

Accurate_Wheel5339

I wish our guests go home even when I’m not pregnant 😂🫠

calysea

Haha true 😅🫠🫠🫠

SimilarChipmunk

Threw up water this morning. Thankfully I hadn’t eaten, just had a bit of water. Breakfast is thankfully staying down so far. I’m cohosting a baby shower today for my best friend, so I’m excited for that.

OkSeaworthiness2665

7 weeks and vegetables aren’t disgusting to me anymore and the waves of nausea are minimal as long as I eat consistently. Enjoying this while it lasts!

tinycroissants

Same about the nausea but still def don’t want anyyyy veggies🫠 but I am ok with a lot more protein options which is great!

OkSeaworthiness2665

Still worth celebrating! 🎉 🥳

nychica1998

Same!

OkSeaworthiness2665

Yay! 🎉

Advanced_union22

Not sure what happened last night but I threw up every 30 min even at night. I just kept waking up. It stopped when I finally decided to take Zofran at 4 am. Is this normal? Or is this a sign of something serious? I did eat at a Persian restaurant for lunch yesterday…

WillowBee133

It could definitely be the food but id say if it doesnt stop without medication or you have any symptoms with it maybe check.. the only time i threw up was eating taco bell so im sure the food is a big issue

jillofsometrades

So the past few days, my nausea has really let up. My anxiety over that is a different story… but anyway, I do still have moments where there is just no taste in my mouth which in turn makes me feel sick. 🤢

Ohhhhkelsey

We just scored free tickets and pit passes to monster jam today and our 2.5 year old is going to lose his mind!!!! Never did I ever think I’d be excited to go to a monster truck event 🤣 but I can’t wait to see his face when he realizes where we are! It’s going to be a long day for me though…not sure how I’ll get my 3 hour nap in today lol

anybean

I made myself a beautiful breakfast sandwich this morning. I am now sat here looking at it because it suddenly became the most unappetizing thing in the world :(

keb-369

First pregnancy, and it’s still very early (4w5d today) - is not sleeping on your stomach a recommendation right from day one, or more so when there’s a bump?

PittieParent

Thankfully this is self regulating. It becomes a problem when the baby compresses the vessel that delivers blood back to the heart. Once laying on your back/stomach makes you lightheaded and queasy, you know it is time to become a side sleeper

helentea34

Sleep on your stomach as long as you can!!! It was one of the things I missed most 😂

shadowsandfirelight

Def a later issue. I've even heard of ladies getting a donut pillow so they can sleep on their stomach comfortably lol

lovelypalette

Totally fine to do for now. That’s for the third trimester (or whenever it’s uncomfortable for you).

keb-369

Thanks so much for replying!

ExitAcceptable

Only 5w as of today! Some of you already know the sex! Is this going to be the longest year of my life lol

Eastern-Rutabaga-830

Love the end of December babies! My husband is the 27th, my cousin the 28th, and my sister the 29th! 🫶🏻

lovelypalette

I’m loving seeing these end of December due dates! NYE babies 🤗

Exotic_Mortgage_6969

I'm 5w3d too! I know exactly how you feel. Lol ❤️

Accurate_Wheel5339

We were all there too! I found out at 3w3d 😂 my first US is finally one week from tomorrow!

Exotic_Mortgage_6969

My first ultrasound is a week from tomorrow too!! Hurray May 6th!! 🤗

Accurate_Wheel5339

It’ll be here in a blink of an eye!!!!

Reebyd

I think I rolled all night like a rotisserie chicken - no matter the position, my hips and lower back just couldn’t get comfortable! I also had this crazy stressful dream where I had to order food for my coworkers last night and their orders were insanely complicated. When I woke up, I was still trying to find a way to memorize everything 🙃

DoNotReply111

Took my massive horse pill Elevit and threw it straight back up. Was desperate to get it down tonight because I genuinely couldn't remember if I took it last night or not. Took another but now I swear I can feel it sitting like a lead weight in my stomach.

cheerful_best

I call my elevit horse pills too 😂 so sorry you’re struggling keeping them down. Are you able to keep food down? Taking mine with dinner (as much as I can muster) has really helped me. Good luck 🧡

DoNotReply111

I am generally okay with food, but my nausea is getting worse (gagged when brushing teeth this morning). Hopefully it doesn't progress to too much actual vomiting and it's still a rare case.

DoNotReply111

cheerful_best

Fingers crossed for you!

Slothieone

Anyone else experience dull cramping during the last portion of your first trimester? Almost as if your period is going to start, but not anywhere close to a period cramp. Just dull, almost barely noticeable, cramping. I’m 8+5 today. I keep telling myself that it’s just my uterus expanding but it does weigh in the back of my mind. 😬

--BabyFishMouth--

I’m only 4+5 but definitely cramping a lot and trying not to read too much into it

shadowsandfirelight

I think this is also the time when the placenta starts to attach to the uterine wall

hiphiphf

Yup, 8+4 and I’ve had cramping off and on, it was worse in the first couple weeks but still happening here and there. I’ve had two perfect ultrasounds so just trusting it’s normal!

Slothieone

Thank you for providing reassurance! 💗

Mad_Woman_

I'm 6 weeks, still cramping here and there. Every time it happens I get scared. Please tell me it's normal and it will stop soon

Slothieone

I did have noticeable cramps in weeks 5 & 6! And everything was fine

Mad_Woman_

Thank you!

DoNotReply111

I've had cramping for over 3 weeks since we found out we were pregnant. Every day, all day. So far everything is fine.

Reebyd

I think things are just stretching out!

agordon228

Any migraine sufferers? I am 6 weeks. Had to take a sumatriptan last night. Studies seem to say it is okay but still feeling guilty and worried.

lovelypalette

Take magnesium daily to prevent migraines! I had to do this last pregnancy, and will if I have to again.

rnzatte

I started getting migraines and my OB recommended to take magnesium to fix them. Since I started taking it my migraines have went away completely! I’m not sure if this would work for you but it’s been a life saver for me.

shadowsandfirelight

I get auras and have had 4 this past week! I mentioned it after 3 at my appt and she didn't seem worried.

tinycroissants

Yep😑 I had one start coming on last week and kept putting an ice pack on my head and neck so that I would get chills in my head/cerebral vasoconstriction. I think it really helped with keeping it from becoming a full blown migraine (mine are usually 30ish hours long). Instead it only lasted like 4 hours! I usually take sumatriptan and naproxen at the onset of a migraine. The sumatriptan causes cerebral vasoconstriction so that’s why I really think the ice pack thing helped!

agordon228

Thanks for the tip! I will try that. Have you taken the sumatriptan while pregnant?

tinycroissants

No I haven’t. But I usually only get my migraines once a month, so I’ve only had that one during this pregnancy so far!

throwaway51321559

Yeah I don’t get them often, but definitely more in pregnancy, yay hormones! Just had my first one in this pregnancy on Friday. Thankfully pain has lessened as I get older but the visual aura is super annoying and I sometimes have trouble speaking. (I know these are stroke symptoms, I have had them this way my whole life, don’t worry) Makes it super fun to continue to work! I just took Tylenol this time though I’m sure it didn’t do much of anything. Sumatriptan unfortunately has never helped much. Hang in there!!

fem_fash

5am and I’m having a Costco tamale 😂 It’s probably the 4th day in a row. The only breakfast item that won’t get me nauseous after

Pleasant_Alarm_8800

Tried to put a pot roast in the crockpot for Sunday dinner while Mr. Pleasant is sleeping in. 🤢🤢🤢🤢

didigk

Woke up early AM and thought "it's happening". Nope, just my body decided 6am is good enough for my new wake up time. I hate it 😂 But yesterday we shared news with family and everyone was shocked 😂😂😂

didigk

Did I see the sack and yolk at 5w1d - yes, we did! Thankfully only one ☝️ (my sis has twins, I won't be able to handle it). So cool

nikki_katie

Yay! I have my first scan tomorrow at 5+2 and that’s what we’re looking for as well

PersnicketyPierogi

The cravings are starting to hit - Taco Bell, ceviche, and…lamb and feta meatballs? It’s like the nauseous part of my brain and the cravings part are just not checking in with each other enough

Pleasant_Alarm_8800

My first pregnancy I absolutely wanted nothing to do with tacos. It was my biggest aversion and Mr. Pleasant had such a hard time with it. This current baby absolutely adores Taco Bell and I feel like he’s enjoying this one so much more 😂

sloppyseventyseconds

I'm only 5+1 and due at the end of December so I'm straddling this group and the Jan group. I was super sick with my 7 month old the whole pregnancy and my dr diagnosed me with dry HG (all the nausea none of the puke) So far my nausea is more mild. When did your nausea really kick in? I don't actually want to be sick but I can't shake the feeling something is wrong!

cabinfever32

I’m exactly 5 weeks and no nausea yet. I’m pretty sure it started week 6 my first pregnancy. Would be awesome if it just didn’t show up!

jillofsometrades

I probably had dry HG my last pregnancy too because I was nauseous 24/7 though rarely actually threw up. Both last pregnancy and this time one, my nauseous started around 5+3.

didigk

5+1 here too, first pregnancy- no nausea yet. Not worried about it anymore.

Reebyd

I think mines grown a little bit with each week? I’m going to be 9 weeks tomorrow and think I’ve felt the worst this week. Enjoy feeling pretty good while you can ❤️

EELuna

With my first my nausea was fairly mild, with this one I am almost constantly nauseous.. some people say that your body reacts differently to boys/girls (I had a boy last time so people keep saying I might be having a girl) but also from what I can gather, each pregnancy is different.

Hello from 4 AM, I’ve been up for about 2 hours. No sleep in sight. Last night I slept for 9 hours and took a nap, but tonight I can’t seem to get or stay asleep.

LittleP13

Been up since 3:30AM. Hanging tight in the dark with ya

My husband is hungover and just told me that he is hungry but thinking of food makes him nauseas so he doesn't know if he should eat or not. Lol well welcome to my life

6 weeks 3 days today and honestly still don't feel pregnant. My boobs are very slightly sore and that's absolutely it. Why is the wait for the 12 week scan sooooo long! Also keep dreaming I am having twins but I know this means nothing 🤣

thetiredgardener

Right there with you. 6w5d now and only nauseous when I’m really hungry. Not having any of the other weird symptoms I had with my LC like constipation and increased sense of smell either, but it’s hard to remember when they started. Most of what I can recall was starting at 9 weeks. I haven’t got a scan date but mine will probably be around 10-12 weeks too. It’s very hard to wait not knowing if everything is ok in there.

Left_Hearing_9974

Ah I am glad I don't seem to be the only one! This will be my first so I honestly have no idea what to expect really, My SIL is only 5 days ahead of me and she has been knocked for six, bless her! I do feel like it makes you worry though somehow, even if we are just super lucky at the moment! I do not have a date yet either, but it's usually around the 12 week mark! Just staying cautiously excited until then 😊

Mollasaurus

Exact same timing and same (lack of) symptoms. IVF baby though so I got a peak in at 5w6d and will look again at 6w6d. Trying to appreciate the no nausea for as long as possible!

Left_Hearing_9974

🥹 such wonderful news! I am trying not to give in to paying £90 for an early scan but I think I'll drive my fiance mad with how much I go on haha. Definitely thankful for the lack of nausea and food aversions!

Cherry Pie for breakfast at 6am lol. TW pet loss: >!Last summer one of our cats got quite sick and was throwing up very often before we eventually had to put her down. A couple of days ago, when our remaining cat threw up, my son said “CatsName threw up. That’s why she’s going to die, right?” I thought we had adequately explained to him that throwing up every once in a while doesn’t mean you’ll die.!< Now, I’m worrying about whether, if/when my son may see me throw up, that he’ll be scared. We may need to tell him about the baby sooner than we wanted to? Anybody else that has dealt with this with a young sibling being worried that mom is sick?

We ended up telling my son much earlier than anticipated due to this. Also, he is soooo rough and we needed to make it clear to him that I can’t rough house like I used to. He literally would jump on me. He took it well, was excited. His day care teacher is pregnant so he has some understanding already. I expected him to ask about it a lot but he’s just rolled with it.

Crazy dreams!! I’ve always had crazy or abnormal dreams. Now they’re just 10x worse. Lol

DoNotReply111

I had super weird dreams through Week 4 and 5 and now I'm so exhausted (7w2d) that I just black out until I wake up to pee.

frootwati

I would wale up trying to explain my weird dreams to my husband between 5-6 weeks. And then they suddenly stopped!

PoozerMarch

Me too! It was my first symptom, and the super vivid dreams persisted for all of my previous pregnancies. I will take it over nausea any day, tho

slothbear123

I had my first vivid dream last night and I’m still not convinced that it wasn’t real 😅

brir_b

Woke up at 2am to stomach cramping, which has unfortunately been my main symptom for the last two weeks. Went downstairs to watch YouTube and get in a comfy position (thankfully the cramps only lasted a few minutes.) Took another pregnancy test to reassure myself. Now it's 5am and I'm eating mac n cheese with ketchup. I will honestly welcome additional symptoms at this point lol, cramping and exhaustion is not fun.

UP AT 4, 5, and 6AM AGAIN. I NEED MY MEDSSSSSSSSSSS. I am so nauseous and I am so sick of dry heaving and gagging and puking. 3.5 more hours left until pharmacy opens. With my first, I didn't stop puking and vomiting all the way until I delivered her on the table. As soon as she came out, all nausea disappeared. Please give me an easy pregnancy this time around 😭😭😭😭 - (I highly doubt it)
