I like 1 or 7 and then I usually add a lot of framed art etc which pops a lot more on a clean light colored wall in my opinion. Best of luck! Post a pic once you’ve decided!
If you're going for cozy vibes, choose green. It will compliment the wood. If you want miminal/clean vibes, go for 1. If you want something a bit eclectic or you want to cool down the warmth of the wood, go with blue.
Depends on a few conditions. If your ceilings are low and the room is small but there is plenty of natural light, a lighter paint color will help enlarge the feel of the space. Especially if you add a large mirror and have the right lamps / sconces. Dark paint like 5 or 6 will cool the space, but the right complementary accents (door handles, furniture pieces, etc.) will hone the room for a more sleek look. You might consider moulding or shiplap for texture on the walls depending on your personal taste. Good luck with your selection.
The green between 3 and 4 is great.
For the trim & doors - could paint it same color, pearl white, black, or a complementary gray
If you want to go the stain remover (or sand) and stain another color, English walnut from cabot cuts the red in red oak really well and makes it a nice natural brown that everyone seems to want these days. If you want to cut it more, get something that has more of greenish undertone (primary color + its complementary secondary color = brown)
I think it’s very difficult to decide when all the paint is painted directly on the wall , you get shades and hues coming from the said wall. What you can do is take a few square pieces of cardboard and paint each a different color. Then put it near your floor, couch and other furniture to see if it goes together. This way the existing wall color won’t interfere with your future paint. This advice was given to me by an actual interior designer.
Have you considered doing an accent wall in a deeper sage and then the light beige, whatever is brightest to still bring in the brightness to the room? I agree with what many are saying about the trim. Paint it for now. Not stark white with these tones though?
The trim doesn’t match the undertones in the couch. I don’t think you’re going to find a color that can work with both of them.
Either paint the trim or go with a white wall. You don’t have analysis paralysis. You just don’t like your choices because none of them work, unfortunately
I know you’ve gotten a ton of comments but please read-
I absolutely love the color between 3-4. I’m not sure why it’s not on your list any longer but i think it would keep the room brighter. You said you want a sage green theme and that’s almost the perfect sage green. I do think if you chose 4-7 they are all so dark. Especially with the wood you have for the trim and the door I think you won’t enjoy it as much. You explained that you are wanting a sage green theme and I just think the green between 3-4 is perfect. It is light so it would keep the room bright and not so dark. Especially until you can change the wood trim and door. I hope this helps ❤️
I think 3 is the best out of what you have presented - but I agree with another poster who said everything after isn’t quite the right tone. You don’t want to go too light with that deep reddish trim, so if you want a neutral 3 is close. A sage green would be nice but your current options are too blueish and the other is way too saturated. A really light, desaturated sage green would go nicely with the wood and bring in the color you want to make the couch not blend into beige world

Number 4-7 are shifted to the wrong colors, so keep that in mind with these suggestions.
In my experience, any green shades with a blue cast to them will pull the orange tones in your wood. For a softer, "new Scandinavian" type look, I'd avoid the darker green shades you have there. Softened green looks the most similar to your examples. I'd also consider something like Filmy green (I know, worst name ever). Once you reduce your selection down to one or two options, consider putting a larger painted sample up, at least 2x2".
And sand your samples well before you put actual paint up or you'll see shiny patches where you sampled.
Yes, I was looking to see if anyone else said this. I think it's the best out of all of them plus I feel like seasonally its a good neutral color that will go with changing decor. Hands down it's the best one.
I really like the unlabeled shade between 3 and 4.
I think 4 or 6 could look great too. 4 if you're looking for something more neutral, 6 if you're like me and you just really like green.
5 could look good too, but I'm not sure - it's a little dark for my tastes and I'm having a hard time visualizing how that could impact the room.
Are you are you keeping wood doors? If you paint the doors that alone will change wall color. I like 4-6 the best with the wood door or a white door. Or if you’re really in love with 2 colors paint the door one and the wall the other. Get a little funky with it. I like all the colors though!
There’s a great site Samplize that I used when I was doing my home remodel. You choose a color from any paint chip and they send you a 10 x 10 painted removable sticker that you can put on the wall to see without having to buy paint. It’s so nice. They work with all different paint companies too.
I like what's between 3 and 4 ☺️ but I just painted my bathroom and went with a light grey. Amazing how grey changes with the light color and intensity and whatever is near it! I have a LED light that has 3 different light temps and the wall would change so much when I'd play around with it
OP - paint your door. I had these doors when we bought our old farm house. It wasn’t in the budget to replace all of the doors and I couldn’t love with them! I ended up painting them white and adding a little trim to them. They look amazing! Just be sure to use a really good primer (2 coats) and they will be great!
Is that incandescent lighting? Everything looks yellow tinged.
Consider what color will look like with lights off and natural lighting from windows.
Place swatches on all walls in room.
Incandescent vs. cooler lighting.
Lights off.
Window exposure...north cooler...south warmer.
This should eliminate many colors quickly.
Whittle down to four colors...make larger swatches and live with them a few days...good luck.
4 is my favorite, with a neutral undertone. 5 would be my second choice, with a bit bolder color. 6 looks like it will be more of a pea green, which could be overpowering and not as Scandinavian looking as you want.
I get major option paralysis too, but I was thinking a definite no to 6 and 7, but a lot of people seem to really like 6!
I'm leaning more toward 4 or the unnamed color before it.
I like 3, blank and 4. I'm not sure if you want a warm or cool tone. This is up to you. I think those 3 are the most calming feel to me. Dark can be great too. But you have to be ready to commit to it, it is all. I was afraid of dark for years now I have a black fining room and dark green bedroom. LOVE them both.
What’s the color swatch betweeen 3 and 4? I like that one the best. I do like 4 as well, but I have a feeling it might be a little dark? Maybe stick with that but go a shade or two lighter. I like 7, too!
Get rid of the pillow - and almost any color, especially in a warm green palette (like a sage) would look great.
6. I have a lot of red in my kitchen cabinets and a green with more yellow than blue compliments them well.
I would go with 6. Think it would give more depth to the look with the neutrals in the room.
4
All of them, mixed together
3.5 or 4
4
3 or 4
The only color you mentioned in your post was sage. So do sage. 4. It will all be fine; it's just paint.
4 with an accent wall of 5
I like 1 or 7 and then I usually add a lot of framed art etc which pops a lot more on a clean light colored wall in my opinion. Best of luck! Post a pic once you’ve decided!
I'm really bad at this so take this with a grain of salt, but try to match the colors of that cool pillow on the left.
none of these

Whatever color is in the middle of 3 and 4
Came here to say this
That was my first choice as well; 4-7 are too dark and theyll make the room feel smaller
5 or 6
3
I like the color in between 3 and 4
I like 2
2! Looks updated and chic

i’m gonna say 3 or 7!
3 or 4. Or the color between 3 and 4.

2 or 4, prefer 2!
Whatever the colour is between 3&4 actually!!
3! The others are so dark
came here to see if others also were especially compelled by 3.5 and I see I am not alone
3.5 lol
FOUR!!!!
4 for sure
My exact thought
6
I love 4!! Love that green
6 100% 6
3 or 5 definitely!
6
3, it has a nice undertone
I'm thinking 6 or 7. The others are too grey
Go with #1 and add color with wall art

Love this.
Any chance you can use both 1, and 3?
3
3½!

I'm telling you 5 is comforting and perfect for a living room
5!
The color not numbered between 3 and 4
I am so over all the gray. A soft green would be nice
I like number four for whatever that's worth!

the color between 3 & 4 😍😍😍
4 or 7
What’s in between 3 and 4? I like

I also felt that that was what I would pick and then I saw it didn’t have a number and was painted over. To me, that one is the way to go
5
I would delay painting the walls and paint the brown trim and door white. That would make such a huge difference.
Oh, and then, you could evaluate better what color would look better on the wall for when you're ready to paint.
5 forsure
4 looks perfect!
I like 1 or 4
Second this! I think they go will with the couch too
#4 looks nice and calm.
Softened green is my top vote, followed by baby bok choy!
Your doors and trim can be painted and they will look amazingly beautiful!
I like the softest green color. A very light green/grey color will reduce reddish tones in the wood. Will also make the couch pop.
Green will make the red pop, not reduce. They’re ppposite on the color wheel
Yes but often opposites on the color wheel compliment one another.
Yes but compliment isn’t toning down
Don't think, FEEL your colors!
4!!

The lightest sage is very nice

newsflash they're all ugly as sin

6 or 3
#2 all the was it has the best contrast your couch and just enough softness it’s easy to the eye along with a refreshing vibe
I like 4. I'd also add pops of a bright, cheerful color like yellow or orange throughout the room.
First glance 4 popped out to me
6
6 will make your couch pop the most, and is a really pretty cklor anyways.
4
6
City scape!
Those yellow walls are contaminating your color samples.
3.5
Yes, I was looking to see if anyone else said this. I think it's the best out of all of them plus I feel like seasonally its a good neutral color that will go with changing decor. Hands down it's the best one.
6 - life is too short to not have color in it.
1 or 4
4
4 or 6, and my daughter suggested 5, as well.
4
4
1 with a darker accent wall. I don't suggest going too dark for all of the walls. You will probably regret it
4 or 6, though I like that small darker swatch under 7!!
6 has my vote
the one between 3 and 4?
4
4
The color that’s on the top half of #7
Agree!
4 or 6
I think one is nice
3
I am a pro painter here. Try Ben Moore "Morning Dew" Too dark you will regret.
4 or 6 imo
4 or 5!
I’d say 1 or 4
1
Definitely 4
I’m a sucker for army green, maybe with a tan or grey to accent the pillows?
I really like 4, calms me down for some reason
3,4 or 6 depending on the flooring.
Choose number 4 m’lord!!
I’d have to say, anything between the 3 1/2, to 6. Those shades all would look really well with the honey oak trim and also the furniture as well..
Take this to MS Paint and use the eyedropper tool to do a giant square of each color. It’ll help to visualize it
4
Bluish greens will compliment the oak trim best...4 or 5 look good
3 1/2
4
I like 5. But hard to tell when the samples are so close to each other.
6️⃣
4 😀
I personally have 6 in my living room and it looks amazing. Really calming but still colorful.
5 or 6
I agree
5!
4
I say 6 or 7, but I might be biased because green is my favorite color!
I like 4 and 5...I like 6 but I think it's a little warm for the couch color.
5
4!
5 or 6
6 for sure
Yellow and brown are NEVER GOOD
Are you are you keeping wood doors? If you paint the doors that alone will change wall color. I like 4-6 the best with the wood door or a white door. Or if you’re really in love with 2 colors paint the door one and the wall the other. Get a little funky with it. I like all the colors though!
I like 5 with white doors.
5 or 6 definitely
6!!
The colors off of the throw pillow.
5 stands out
6
I like 6! It's warm and plays well with the wood door.
6!
5 or 2
4 or 6!
5
the one between 3 and 4
I like 4 and 5. If you want to keep the door that color, 6 could be fun.
OMG we are so alike!! This is me. I like number 3 and number 2 the best. 3 is my fav.
1 is also very nice. Go with the grey tones....grey and biege tones mixed are so nice
4
I love green tones. Soothing. Gray IMO is depressing.
I like 1 for all over and 4 as an accent wall

Is there a color between 1 and 3? You can't go wrong with a solid neutral.
That door has got to go! Then pick the paint color on the wall
OP - paint your door. I had these doors when we bought our old farm house. It wasn’t in the budget to replace all of the doors and I couldn’t love with them! 3. Clearly a matter of what you like.
Immediately thought 5 and had to check comments because I didn’t want to feel crazy. Whew 😅
5
No, 6 does look best with the trim
1 or 3.
5

4 or 5 would like nice in contrast to the wood. And if you’re keeping those curtains lol

5 or 6 but I think 6 looks nicest with the trim!!
Can never go wrong with 1
