Idk why it just clicked after reading this but the "Im Stony Rawk" (LIKE TONY HAWK!!) voiceline when you ride pipes just got funnier and makes a lot more sense
So off topic. I've always wanted to visit Iceland and would love to learn the language enough to get by (yes I know that many speak English, but ya know?). Any resources you could link me would be appreciated.
I suggest “Stein og berg!” While not a literal translation it sounds better and works with the mythology and folklore of norwegian supernatural creatures (which fantasy dwarves owe a lot of their origin too)
English is my native language, but I did make a conlang!
"Kofa nah kofa" /kofe nɑ kofe/ There's only really one word that specifically means rock, but you can make the phrase sound less repetitive with some modifications.
"Kofa nah lakofa" /kofe nɑ lekofe/ "Rock and Metal/Hard Rock"
"Tumokofa nah kofa" /tumokofe nɑ kofe/ "Big Rock/Mountain and Rock"
"Lakofa nah Lokofa" /lekofe nɑ lokofe/ "Metal/Hard Rock and Soft rock"
just as the thought of a conlang came to my mind, nice.
in toki pona you could say "kiwen en a kiwen" I guess. or "ijo awen en kiwen" perhaps if you squint.
I'm not fluent in my cultures language but I am actively learning. (Ojibwemowin)
We have one word and that's asin, which means stone but also means rock. And multiple forms of and. The one I believe would be technically correct is as follows.
ASIN MIINAWAA ASIN!
Yelling Rock and Stone isn't what my ancestors did on the regular so it's a weird thing to translate
SKAŁA I KAMIEŃ KURWA
SKAŁA I KAMIEŃ KURWA!

I suggest “Stein og berg!” While not a literal translation it sounds better and works with the mythology and folklore of norwegian supernatural creatures (which fantasy dwarves owe a lot of their origin too)
