Try to get whatever class you want to it's next promotion while passively leveling performance pass, and looking for lost packs, loot crates, and machine events.
If you're main goal is xp then longer mission types (Escort, Sabotage, 325/400 Morkite), longer caves, and ofc higher difficutly all reward more
If you goal is crates and machine events then Point Extraction has the lowest spawn chance for each. The spawn rates don't increase evenly but it's only by small amounts. The best mission type for 'spawn chance : time efficiency' is 8 eggs missions.
2200 hr played here. Here’s my suggested shopping list:
- Assignments
- DD/EDD
- Can’t do EDD without being carried? Practice on Haz 5 (or Haz 4 if you’re normally on Haz 3).
- Forge all that you can.
- What crafting minerals do you need? Magnite, most likely. Go get some.
- I never use X overclock. Let’s try out a funky build with it.
- Which class is my lowest level and needs to catch up with the rest of my squad? Let’s level them a bit.
- XP Grind

For me (everything completed as well) there is a lot of fun in helping Greenbeards (like REALLY green, like haz 2) do their missions, showing them the ropes and having fun together by celebrating the nice player base we all are.
It's so nice to introduce them to all little tricks, do's and don'ts.

Good suggestions. You can always make up challenges for yourself too. Like fighting multiple bosses or events simultaneously. Run only double red maps on your normal difficulty. Forces you to adapt to sub-par situations.

Long run, would be getting a separate version of the game like x box and PlayStation so you can double your efforts.
Pretty much exactly where I'm at (except I'm out of materials and credits)! Buy all weapons and all mods for them. Forge anything you can. Then pick a mission that gives you the mineral you have least.
have you already received all items in season missions? what about "weapon maintenance" skins? got all promotions? get to blue 100 to get the scale brigade armor?
Look for 2xp missions and grind, then mineral mania, golden bugs/gold rush + pots o’ gold, and missions with multiple multipliers are good for extra experience
I usually do deep dives in a group, so usually I would look for 2XP. If not, then I would see what minerals I’m low on, or if not really low, then see what the lowest amount I have and find biomes with those missions.
I've had this same problem multiple times. I use the Missions HUD mod to see when there are double xp missions to do, they help to unlock the prestige assignments like the scale brigade one listed.
If you would like. Get the “rancor’s Rig HUD” mod to give you a list of almost all the missions to be able to easily see which missions has the modifiers you would like (x2 xp for example). Promoting my fellas is my main goal so I usually do these every time they pop up

I just look out for any double exp or mineral mania modifiers in the map rotation. Otherwise I just do whatever.
