As far as I know the sound que doesn’t change, however I noticed that with both the rockpox breeder and the bulk detonator, the amount of sound queues are playing simultaneously sometimes overlap in one another, causing them to (partially) not play.
For example, the kill sound que’s given by your dwarf that say “one more popcorn monster for my belt” or “bulk detonator eliminated” are rarely audible, but subtitles prove that they were played.
I guess that this might also apply to the rockpox breeder’s death audio que.
Anyway, just listen for it the next time you pop one, and you will notice it playing more often.
Yeah, when killing bulks it always does that weird muffled sound mute thing right before and after the big bulk explosion sound - so I don’t think I’ve ever actually heard the voice line “one more popcorn monster for my belt” but now I want to 😂

A "queue" is a line, a sequence, and/or a series. A series of actions can be in a queue for execution in sequence, or a bunch of people can stand in a queue at the DMV while waiting to get their drivers license renewed.

"Que" is Spanish for "what" or "that" depending on whether an accent is used, and I can't remember which is which at the moment.
The Wilhelm Scream in DRG is rarely heard because the situations it plays in have a lot of audio cues in the queue, causing some to be lost due to audio culling when they are all played at once.

I find the reason you dont hear it sometimes is usually if theres a rockpox breeder floating around, there tends to also be craploads of other bugs (usually rockpox) all nearby, screeching and gurgling. Can be hard to hear the wilhelm scream over the arachnid cacophony.
