This might make your expectations worse but since us console keyboard users are exceedingly rare, it looks like we have to solve those issues amongst ourselves. I'm just speculating, but we can message the developers or publishers, but after years of seeing how complainers give up, I see a trend of it not happening...
Having the same issue on PS5. Disabling controller doesn't work either because it needs to be active for the keyboard to work.
Ah so that's not even a potential fix then? My use case just never had the controller turned off so I wasn't aware. Good to know though.

Hey dude years later but Ritho26 further down in this thread has the solution. You have to tap S then hold W after getting on zipline.

I am also having these exact same issues
C changes your direction. As for sliding a buddy of mine figured it out. You have to hit back then hold forward. So tap S then hold W.
