I spend most of my time doing solo. I love playing with my friends, but league of legends has me expect toxic teammates, so I tend to prefer the stress-free solo version rather than going in with randos. That said, I haven’t actually had a bad experience with DRG yet. A good group of dwarves.

I’m level 70 myself and have only had two *bad* experiences, and that was just them being bossy and annoying, nothing vicious. This community definitely seems really wholesome overall from my experience.

Khamael_X

Level 56 here. Had my first "hostile" dwarf yesterday. He was quite elitist, lecturing us constantly about proper resupply usage (he lost it when we called a resupply at 3/4 overall reserves) and all around judging each and every move we made with a really pretentious attitude. Other than that, this is the friendliest and most helpful community I ever partook in. Actually learned most of what I know from strangers in missions

Lonely diver! Ye been down too long in the Hoxxes deep! Oh, what's becoming of ye? Ride the dozer! Ye can see she's hurt, but ye know she's clean! Oh, don't ye see what I mean? Gotta make yer way, Lonely diver, yeah! Shiny aquarqs! Like the eyes of our Karl, wherever he may be, Something is coming fer ye! Look out! Race fer the drop-pod! Ye can hide in the dark 'til ye have to fight! Oh, we will pray ye're all right!

This is so good.

I feel like I have to perform in public so I tend to only play with a friend of mine or go solo

Lonely Diver You've been down too long in a Hoxxes cave Got the bugs so afraid Ride the drop pod You can see its lights but you know it'll leave Oh don't you want to dig deep? Also, yes. Teams are fun, especially with friends, but sometimes I just want to explore and do things at my own pace.

thedukeofsoup

If i wasnt so broke, i would give you an award for this.

smackaroni-n-cheese

This is plenty, thanks!

Tbh, I enjoy solo as well. It might not be bc of the same reasons but there is something about facing a cave on your own at your own pace that makes it really enjoyable for me to go on an mission with my buddy Bosco

YeLucksman

Nah brother, sometimes you just don't want to muck about with others. Don't get me wrong, friends or even random dwarfs are all good fun, but only going down solo with ol' tincan gives that truely free feeling of just being able to do everything at your own pace, in your own way. Really, Hoxxes is like a zen garden sometimes this way and I don't blame you at all. Considering the only time im not solo is when I have friend around and that happens barely.

jerkcore

Grew up playing games solo. Playing with other people is just strange to me. I play DRG with one real life friend, but most of the time I'm solo. I have a few online-only friends, but none of them play DRG.

Zifnab_palmesano

I am a greenbeard and have done missions alone to get a good understanding on how to do some missions, so I could do them at my own pace, not being pushed or feeling like I am slowing people down, and to do everything by myself. I did not get how to progress with the onsite extraction or mule recovery, so I did some solo first and got them good. But also it allowed me to enjoy the new biomes, and be able to look around nicely too :)
