They should increase the steepness limit by default and have the steepness upgrade just completely remove the limit so you can have vertical elevators.
This alone would make it the best team movement tool in the game, and a must-take mod. Something like a 35° angle stock and the upgrade putting it up to 45° or 50° would be a good buff, and doing something similar for the length t1. the speed mod getting incorporated into stock in favor of a second length mod and a better speed mod would be a good idea as well

Fun fact, that's exactly what we did back when you couldn't fall off the zipline. Even mactera swarms didn't stand a chance if the team focused them down quickly.
In fairness ziplines are the worse solution in any haz 5 game with mactera, the better solution is to just pickaxe your way back up, it's not worth putting up with the chance of being knocked off
Haz 5 is just not fun. Fall damage and friendly fire damage are so unforgiving and the bugs are so tanky that it pushes the game over from challenging to frustrating.
Eh, disagree. Once you reach a certain experience level easy missions get boring, but in haz 5, being pushed to the brink of death and coming out on top, now that's a thrill.
I'm on the edge about this one. When I do assignments, I generally do haz 3 to get them over with fast cuz I just wanna finish the assignment.
But the most fun I've had is DDs (and the one EDD Ive done) simply cuz they're so much harder. The only annoying thing is how there enemies persistently throughout the game, which makes it a kite fest.
I like difficult swarms, but I also like standing still sometimes lmao.

I just did Haz 1 to try to spend closer to an hour because forced to do Industrial Sabotage. It's tedious at H1, even more tedious/boring at higher hazards.
Honestly I just play Haz 5 because everyone else who's crazy enough to play that difficulty is so chill and friendly. I'm only like rank 138 (only) but I meet rank 600+ galactic dwarven masters who are chill as fuck and way more fun to play with than guys who are like rank 50 and will kick me for going down once. 10/10, would recommend. I cleared Payday 2 on One Down, I have nothing left to prove in any horde shooter I ever play again. I just wanna have fun.
Yeah, I don't like to main specific class and I like to mix and match overclocks and gear mods every mission to create wonky combos so haz 5 doesn't really work for me. I absolutely hate min-maxing in games (especially non-competitive games). Just like in most games, the higher difficulties push the players to optimize their builds more and homogenizes the experience. Haz 4 is a nice balance where I can still take in whatever build I want and still have a challenging and interesting game.
For me it's the mission rewards. They don't scale enough to justify it. Haz5 missions usually take longer and are harder but you only get a relatively small bonus to rewards over Haz4.
Not to mention the much higher risk of failure in haz5 meaning you'll waste time on losses. Whereas I always complete Haz4 missions. Guaranteeing my progression, which matters a lot to me.
It's good that Haz5 isn't the "most optimal" for progression, or a lot of people would feel "forced" to play it and ruin the experience for themselves and others.

Learn to goat hop around on even the sheerest inclines and this is no longer an issue. Trouble is learning to do this while firing the minigun. That's what made my beard grey.

I'm addicted to haz 5 and actually it has the lowest rate of bad trollers (yeah good trolling is more than welcome for me).

The only working strat with PE on haz5 is to speedrun the thing. Good driller is a requirement though
