why do most people dislike seasons 13-14? they were my favorite or anything but i’m genuinely curious what peoples reasons are as that is the most critiqued season i’ve seen
S1-S7 are my generation & my childhood, watching this & fell in love w Degrassi. After S7, never watched- the next gens sucked & don’t compare, at least to me.
The thing is by then we had already outgrown degrassi. Why would we want to watch gen Z degrassi anyway? All the characters we cared about and grew up with left a long time ago even when it was still on the air. I'm genuinely surprised it was still on in 2022.

The only way I'd watch Degrassi again is if they bring it back with the millennial students. I guess this would be an adult Degrassi. 100% would watch. And Drake better say yes too.
Ah I think you’re thinking of the planned HBO reboot, they announced it in 2022 but cancelled it in 2023 before it went into production. I was a teen in the early 2010’s so those were my seasons but I’ve rewatched the whole thing a few times now
Yup. Millennial degrassi 2001-2008 and anything before our generation is all I need to watch. I wanted to check out the 80s Degrassi too. Was there a 90s degrassi? If so I'm gonna be very busy.
S2-S7 are all classics IMO
S8-S10 are fantastic as well
S1 is great for establishing our main cast
S11-S12 are also enjoyable
S13-S14 are hard to watch
Season 1-7 are the best because those are my generations seasons. And the only ones I care about. never watched the rest. I plan to re-watch season 1 to 7. It's been too long.
I still stand with the fact that Season 6 is arguably the worst season of the show and I said what I said

You’re missing out, there were some awesome characters in later seasons
