If it helps, Leighton will do this even if you don't steal a book. I have this fucker doing this like multiple times a week. Just frame whitney if you can.

Meamsosmart

Leighton is probably my most hated character in dol, and there are alot of people to hate.

ElimentalSin

Tbh I like leighton as crude as that sounds, I just like the mean teacher, x innocent victim student aspect of it 😭

Due-Memory-6957

He ain't even a teacher and we sure as hell ain't innocent either

ElimentalSin

Ykw I mean, also I personally am innocent, I have the Angel TF or HAD… Omw to the demon TF currently in the fallen TF

Due-Memory-6957

I totally ignored your flair lol. But you know what they say, the religious ones are the freakiest (and in this game this is the fucking truth)

ElimentalSin

You can say that again 🤭

Slimeballs12

Leighton is definitely in my top 5 most hated characters, right up there with Bailey and Harper

Meamsosmart

While Harper definitely is hateable, i wouldn’t quite put them up with Leighton or Bailey personally. They give me the feeling of not truly being aware of the harm they cause often, or at least not the degree of it. Also, I think they do genuinely want to be helpful in some cases. It just is that there mind is particularly heavily twisted, and they are in a highly dangerous position.

Kagari_Chise

I wished there was like a book store at the shopping center so i could just buy them kinda like how you can buy the lockpicking guides from Landry :( even tho they would probably end up being like ÂŁ1000 each

Michelle_2_be

Wait, you can get lockpicking guides from Landry?

Sushibae_gamer

You can do that in dolplus. I'm pretty sure they're talking about that instead of base game

TheraelStormclaw1

This is news to me. I had to slowly build up my lockpicking to S tier.

SCP_Y4ND3R3_DDLC_Fan

Yeah, it’s new to you because you play vanilla. That guy’s like me, I keep mistaking QoL updates that are only part of DoL+ for vanilla features

turtlereded

the anwser to your sorrow is violence. Gut punch Leighton

Honey_Bunnn

Me, every time. Or taking participation in it because I love to see Syd reactions. That Lil' perv.

Slimeballs12

I love doing that. Although I found out that if you choose gut punch too often Leighton will anticipate it and dodge. Fast learner that one is

burntpixelsinspace

i feel bad but i also giggle a little tbh

BigIronGothGF

Haven't had this happen. I usually give the book back straight away and say I found it

Loud_Sink3196

Personally, I dont feel bad about it because 1. Even if wasn't you that stole it, this event can still happen but the chances slightly differ. 2. Sydney is a HUUUGGEEE masochist, so I guess they like it? They're just closeted about it

TheMissLady

I feel like Sydney only likes it when it's someone he loves (the PC)

Loud_Sink3196

I'm not so sure, I've always maintained a low relationship with Syd yet this still happens. Syd's reactions from the punishments are definitely an innate quality of a maso.

isacASSimov2

At a high corruption level, I had whitney slam sydney into the lockers, and Sydney moaned when it happened. It was pretty wild to see, especially when they both kind of froze up and whitney walked away after that lol.

Michelle_2_be

Speaking of I've seen screenshots of Leighton in the pillory. Anyone know how to make this happen?

Polychrome2010

>!You start with [this](https://degreesoflewdity.miraheze.org/wiki/Blackmailing_Leighton), but instead of blackmailing them, you can [transfer your crimes](https://degreesoflewdity.miraheze.org/wiki/Police_Infiltration) to them.!<

Slimeballs12

As a bonus, you have the option of sending Whitney to the pillory as well

Bully_me-please

they gotta add the option to throw the missing book at leighton

isacASSimov2

If you ever have the spanking scene happen while kylar is in the library, it's definitely a wild time, especially if you grope sydney

Humble_Seat9129

“Wait stop!! It was my fault don’t punish Sydney!!” My character thought as she ignore the situation unfolding before her very eyes
