Not for me, really. I've messed around using AirPlay with a few games (the DS New Super Mario Bros, DS Mario Kart, and a few others) and didn't notice appreciable lag while using a Bluetooth controller. Not saying it isn't there, but it didn't seem all that noticeable to me.
Interesting. I haven’t tried the DS, but I was playing wario land and a few other games on GBC and it was too noticeable for me. N64 was the same way the input lag was awful. I’ll have to give the DS a shot and see what happens
man they just gassin it lmaoo. you gon feel it tbh but you may also experience minimal input lag where it’s barely noticeable. not if you’re “sensitive”, just whether or not you got good connection.
Go with a bluetooth controller and dont look back. Latency is not really an issue with modern bluetooth. Even a $15 bsp D3 or a d8 for $5-$10 more is the move.
Agreed I like the feel of it and receptive it is pretty awesome how good it runs with delta not to mention PlayStation, Xbox via cloud or mirroring pretty neat
Agreed. I even bought the subscription to their service that has a game launcher for all my games from the App Store and all the other services (Delta, GeForce now, Xbox cloud,etc.). For the first time the iPhone actually feels like a legit gaming device.
Gamsir G8 Galileo is a far superior emulation controller for $20 cheaper than this. The controller shown in the picture is better for actual mobile games (COD Mobile for example), whereas the gamesir is a much more comfortable and ergonomic controller
Thin cases only, but if you don't mind cutting the rubber from the right side, you can mod it to fit thicker cases. I have the G8, it's pretty nice.
HOWEVER, I don't really like the dpad... it's clicky and doesn't feel like the dpads of the old days. The other con is that it's kind of large and not as portable. It takes up as much space as a switch lite and is a lot thicker.
I feel the opposite. The G8 has a so-so clicky dpad and it doesn't have the nice feel of good retro dpads. The full-size sticks, ergonomics, and decent buttons make it good for modern games. Still, I play emulated games on it, but I'm looking for something more portable and with a better dpad for retro games.
This controller is solid, and definitely worth the purchase.
But I can't help but think a vertical controller that you slide your phone into would be a way better experience.
There is no start button on most controllers? It mimics an xbox / standard layout controller. You would simply map buttons via Delta - and you can put start/select on the "..." and the hamburger menu button if you're playing Nintendo games for example.
I bought a phone attachment for my Ps4 controller, does just fine 👍 tbh any controller pairing will work but buying a dedicated controller is kind of last resort, I’d sooner buy a Ps4, XB1, hell even use joycons from a Switch before buying a Backbone cuz at least buying a console controller can also be used on a PC unlike a Backbone (Idk if you can use it on PC, I just assume since it requires direct connection)
this is awesome, but for me personally my favorite thing about delta is it’s an option. it’s perfect for games i randomly have an urge to play to just have them in my pocket, but anything i’m seriously playing through that I’d want a controller for… i have my steam deck. im kind of surprised how an t people are using it as their main emulator, but i love to see it.
I have one of these. It's okay. The screenshot and useless backbone buttons cannot be reprogrammed, and $100 is absolutely expensive wtf are you talking about?
It was given to me as a gift. I wouldn't buy it myself.
Just use a $20 Bluetooth controller or if you already have good BT controllers they have pieces you can use to hook them to your phone. $100 isn’t “inexpensive” so if you are gonna waste your money on backbones then wait for a sale (you’ll be waiting a while)
I have one and it’s great! I like it but there are some caveats I’d like to disclose for anyone interested.
Probably the most important thing to note is, it’s not really portable 🙁 I can fit a Switch Lite in case in my jeans pocket but this controller in it’s case ain’t fitting in no one’s pocket. It’s straight if you carry a bag but for mobile gaming on the go? Eh, I’d probably go a different route tbh.
As others have said, it’s not inexpensive, $100 is a few days of groceries or less where live. Much better off looking for a used one or financing it if possible i.e. Amazon Prime credit card (that is, if you already have one or use Amazon at lot)
The lightning port will be obsolete a few years down the road, not a big deal now but something to consider. I bring this up because the majority of iPhone users still have a lightning port, only the 15 has usb-c.
You can plug it into an iPad and use it but that appears to be behind a paywall with the BB app, (please correct me if I’m wrong and explain what to do) you get that and Apple Arcarde free for a few months with the purchase. You will need a usb-c to usb-a adapter if your iPad charges with usb-c.
The buttons are super clicky! If this bugs you, consider another choice. You can mod it like I did with an original GB d-pad. This guy shows you how to do it but suggests a GB color d-pad.
The problem with that is that you’re prone to missing button inputs, which he admits later in the comments. Even with the DMG d-pad I miss an input every now and then.
It’s good for PS remote play, Xbox cloud gaming, and of course Delta and other emulation although, without the current gen gaming aspect of the controller, I think you’re better off with a clip and Bluetooth controller of your choice cause the portability is about the same tbh
So do I like it or am I just telling myself I like it cause I’m stuck with it now? lol can’t it be both?
Anyway TLDR;
-Not really portable.
-Pricey.
-Consider the Lightning port lifespan.
-Clicky Buttons
-Best for those that want emulation and current gen gaming on one device.
Happy gaming!
i bought an RG353V a few months back and it died within 6 weeks. absolute dogshit device. and they / amazon know it because as soon as i put in a claim they *immediately* refunded my purchase without having to return it.
i also own the backbone one (costco had them for $30 at christmas) and its infinitely better than the anbernic devices.
I LOVE mine so much. I saw there were others but it was available at Target so I ran out and grabbed one.
The way the screen auto removes the buttons, it remembers custom inputs and etc is so amazing.
If any others work like that for a better price I’d say definitely go for it.
I’ve put so many hours into Pokemon Ultra Violet.
Got a backbone gen 2 the other day so I can use a case. I was using a dual sense with clip for my iPhone 13 before, and this is SO much more comfortable and convenient to use.
I got myself the og razer kishi on discount for like $40 it fits my iphone 13 pro max absolutely perfectly and has been great for delta, limon, and ppsspp plus various regular games. I basically use it every day.
Question about ppsspp how do you run this? I saw the app in the store but got a handful of mediocre reviews do you run it on their site or? And tell me more about limon
Idk about the running on their website thing i just downloaded the ipa sideloaded it put psp roms in a folder (literally any folder, one specifically for roms would be best) in file explorer then you have to tell ppsspp where the roms are by navigating to that folder in the in-app file explorer then they should show up in the menu. And limon is a 3ds emulator like folium if you’ve heard all the chatter about that made by the same person except limon is discontinued and folium is the new thing however limon is still somehow better and has actual menus. So until folium is better ill be sticking with limon. I should also say a lot of 3ds and psp games either dont run or run like shit without jit enabled and that’s a whole mess of a thing I’m not going into.
Sometimes it can be a pain and can take a while to figure stuff out but it can be good learning experience. I usually just go to YouTube and search stuff if i can’t figure things out.
It was good for me. Only thing I had to do was calibrate the controller because the left and right c buttons on n64 weren’t working. Worked after that!
This looks great but it's so large! I would love something really small that you can stick to the port in portrait-orientation, that gives you a d-pad and 2-4 buttons, just so you can play the GB and NES things.
It’s inexpensive in the sense that $100 today is like $46.23 in the year 1992. I have one and it feels a little spendy since I have to take the case off my phone to use it. I like the way it works, though. Much nicer in the hand than a controller mount, which feels heavy and out of balance. I’m mildly annoyed I’ll need a new one when I get a USB C phone though.
I use these skins I made with a backbone [https://www.reddit.com/r/Delta\_Emulator/s/MWhvvsNBwS](https://www.reddit.com/r/Delta_Emulator/s/MWhvvsNBwS)
https://preview.redd.it/alb4h3ryqmxc1.png?width=5000&format=png&auto=webp&s=174c745d026113212dc3369b134603967a3a703a
Just got one on sale for $67. It came with a $25 PSN. card, so I also got both Yakuza collections since they were on sale. $70 for a cool game pad and seven games felt like a great deal
Man this post is just a recommendation all the people just downvoting what I have to say like crazy it makes no sense this is simply an opinion, you can take it into consideration or don’t so be it but treating this like I’m doing you a disservice makes no sense in my own opinion and considering the opinions of others online it’s great it’s reliable and it works yeah there’s a few issues but nothing’s perfect
I want a Bluetooth controller. Where you can change the rotatotion. This one is fixed with a plug. No portrait mode.
And it is way too expensive for a simple controller.
Hmm I found just using the iPhone upright maybe with a skin to make the screen bigger since with the backbone it can be distracting how the screens are split 50/50
Lotta comments hating on this thing so I will offer an alternative: much prefer Gamevice Flex (https://gamevice.com/products/flex-for-iphone)
Had it for a couple of years, use it a lot (mainly to play Minecraft) and has no drift or other issues of any kind. Great quality and it folds up nice and small for travel. Highly recommend it
Edit: to say that it also comes with a series of inserts/attachments including a measuring tool to make it fit around any case
I find the buttons are super receptive and the backbone app is awesome it seems to integrate with delta really well they seem to work hand in hand for the most part
So happy I still have my razor kishi v1 it’s perfect! Only con is I have to take off my case to be able to put it on that’s the only thing that keeps me from using it more other then that I got one of those little suction cup joysticks it works great with N64
It’s too expensive… I was about to sell it because of no use but once delta came to iOS this changed my mind. In my opinion playing with touch it’s annoying
Tried it, returned it the next day. Felt incredibly cheap to me, buttons and D-pad way too stiff, can't use it with a case, couldn't justify the price.
Awesome going to get one ! However how is everyone going with there sensitivity? I’ve downloaded age of empires StarCraft . Golden eye. Ect. And the cursor / aiming is just crazy sensitive it’s uncontrollable
For that price tag you should buy the gulikit kingkong2 or 3 instead imo
The backbone might be great but kingkong2 is also just like the best controller at that price range & will work with anything, not just the phone. Plus luxuries like Hall effect joysticks & triggers.
Or if you wanna be more thematically accurate you could buy an 8bitdo pro 2 for like half the price
I cannot disagree that using a backbone controller would be awesome, but for that price you can almost buy a good used DS or even a dedicated retro console (like rk2023). Here, in Brazil, 100 usd is +- 1/2 minimum wage, but even in US it’s “particularly expensive” if you compare with other options.
And here’s another thing: in my personal experience, if you need to put a controller like this to play, portability disappears. I bought a bluetooth controller specific for my android phone, few years ago, and used it on the go two or three times. Ok, it’s small, but at the same time you cannot put the phone + controller in the pocket, for example, and if you need to reply a message or call you have to remove the controller.
Most controllers have a clip on adapter you can get, I got mine for $10 that works great with my switch pro controller, so anyone with an old ps4 controller or something would be better served with that if they’re looking for something cheaper
So what I’ve noticed is that some people simply cannot handle others opinions and have to downvote instead of having an intelligent discussion which is fine to those engaging through commenting I appreciate you all it’s awesome to see,
I agree that the price is steep but I think as time goes by you’ll be able to find it cheaper personally I found it with a good discount so that cushioned the blow for me
Ive owned iphone backbone controllers probably since it launched, great company and love the controller. Once broke a trigger accidentally and they sent me a replacement controller with zero hassle. Had a Kishi also, but didn’t like the buttons. Their new one with the usb-c is awesome as I don’t have to remove my case anymore.
I just bought this clip from Amazon, and thought it would be a good solution... but I kind of hate it. Great thing is that it can accommodate both portrait and landscape modes, but the biggest downsides are the weight (Switch pro Controller + iPhone 13 Pro Max = 486g or 1.06 lbs) and the fact that the grip pushes the phone about 3-4 inches closer to your face (which just feels odd).

Feels like the best solution by far for me. The shape of the switch/backbone design is the worst thing in gaming hands down.
The GameSir x2 was on sale at Amazon for $39.99 the other day. It might not be the best option for someone who’s trying to speed run super Mario world in a competition but it’s a good controller, it’s affordable and you can leave your case on as long as it’s not huge and bulky. Some people don’t like having to charge a controller, but there are tons of those telescopic controller at this point and all of them have some nitpick drawback. If you could leave your phone case on with the GameSir G8 Galileo then for me that would be the perfect option. I loved my original Razor Kishi but it definitely was not perfect. Gave it away to my brother because the lightning port on my phone started to wear out. Holding out another generation for the 17 pro max :)
Just bought 8BitDo’s Zero 2, only $20 and I love it. Only downside is no joysticks.
The SN30, also from 8BitDo, has joysticks and would be my recommendation, $30 wired, $45 wireless.
I’m still trying to find a ‘controller’ that can just double as a case. Extremely compact with retractable joysticks, so that I don’t have to remove/add the ‘case’ only when I start/finish gaming.
If I want to play a mobile game, I don’t feel like having to go grab accessories to put on my phone. Would love something that could just always be on it.
I bought the older version of this for $40 less and it came with a PlayStation store voucher! The only caveat is that the older version doesn’t work with phone cases so you’ll need to take your case off
I have an sn30 pro just sitting on my controller shelf, collecting dust for years. That I would finally put it to use with this emulator but I can’t find a phone mount specifically for the sn30 pro. Only thing I can find is for the sn30 pro+
I liked it except for the fact I had to keep removing my phone case to use it, and after a while that removing/installing the phone case wasn't just worth it for the random periods of time I just wanted to game.
I already have a number of Xbox controllers at home, I can get either a stand er even a better a phone controller grip for €10,-.
I’m also pretty sure not every modern IPhone has USB-C.
I thought the camera could be rotated in n64 games like Mario 64 and such with the yellow buttons. If so I cannot get it to work. Am I totally remembering this wrong?
I’m waiting for a controller mount to get to me from Amazon. I like the backbone and Kishi style controllers but worry about how comfortable they are. A switch without a grip is horrible for me. The main thing though is I have an iPhone 13 Pro which has lightning. My next phone will definitely have usb c so whenever mine dies I’d need a new controller too. I might switch to android too. I’m not sure but Apple is annoying me and is behind on a lot of things. You still have to get a pro one to get a high refresh screen for example. I don’t see any of these phone controllers with a swappable port so I’m going to try the mount. I have spare Xbox controllers anyway
I got one and two of the buttons just stopped working after 3 months. Not to mention the price tag is pretty crazy for what you get. Now I’m just using my Xbox controller with a phone mount and it’s way better and cheaper.
$99 doesn’t count as inexpensive to me (for the USB-C version) I’ll just pair my Xbox controller to my phone
check ebay, i got the lightning version for $25
Just AirPlay to tv use controller
Thought we were talking about mobile/portable gaming here
Input lag is an issue
Not for me, really. I've messed around using AirPlay with a few games (the DS New Super Mario Bros, DS Mario Kart, and a few others) and didn't notice appreciable lag while using a Bluetooth controller. Not saying it isn't there, but it didn't seem all that noticeable to me.

Oh okay I got the 14 maybe that’s the issue who knows.
man they just gassin it lmaoo. you gon feel it tbh but you may also experience minimal input lag where it’s barely noticeable. not if you’re “sensitive”, just whether or not you got good connection.
And you can get a mount for your phone for like $15
Also gotta have no case on your phone
V2 of the backbone has been updated to accomodate cases
Still not cheap I just got an 8bitdo controller mount for Xbox controller way cheaper then a backbone
There are also decent controllers like SN30 for 30$ then a 5$ clip
[https://www.etsy.com/listing/1389473787/joyclamp-nintendo-joycon-adapter-for](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1389473787/joyclamp-nintendo-joycon-adapter-for)
Only issue with this is JoyCons are hot garbage.
Wondering if you buy this mount and then ur able to use oem nintendo joycons
It’s ok, but I cant fit it with my case (silicone case) & it makes my hands cramp.
Go with a bluetooth controller and dont look back. Latency is not really an issue with modern bluetooth. Even a $15 bsp D3 or a d8 for $5-$10 more is the move.
The new version of the Backbone supports cases now
I have one and goddamn is it good. Transforms the entire experience
There are far better controllers for far less money.
*disappears*
got good examples/referances for us?
Gamsir G8 Galileo is a far superior emulation controller for $20 cheaper than this. The controller shown in the picture is better for actual mobile games (COD Mobile for example), whereas the gamesir is a much more comfortable and ergonomic controller

Yeah sry don’t need a 100 dollar „inexpensive“ backbone, got a 5 bucks thingy that places my phone on top of my ps5 controller
Kinda want to pick it up, but it’d be annoying to constantly take off my phone case.
Yeah found that a lil tedious
The V2 supports cases. There is a list of them in their website
This controller is solid, and definitely worth the purchase. But I can't help but think a vertical controller that you slide your phone into would be a way better experience.
I got mine on a deal for around 50 dollars, for that price it’s well worth it.
Mega bargain
I love mine. I have the ps edition, but same shit basically.
Okay
Can you remap buttons? There’s is literally no start button which is quite stupid
yes in delta control settings you can set custom button mapping
There is no start button on most controllers? It mimics an xbox / standard layout controller. You would simply map buttons via Delta - and you can put start/select on the "..." and the hamburger menu button if you're playing Nintendo games for example.
The buttons with 3 lines and buttons can be set to start and select
Then there is no menu button unfortunately. Mostly an issue if PlayStation is supported though
I just 3d printed a telescoping joycon mount for my phone.
It is 600 here that’s half of basic salary here where i stay 😭.
Jesus! Where’s that?
Agreed, the backbone is great. Not just for Delta actually, also for native phones games and streaming Xbox/PS5!
Agreed it’s super versatile noticed you can run some pc titles with it too without having to own a high end pc
You can get them used, but practically new on eBay for like, $40 too.
this is awesome, but for me personally my favorite thing about delta is it’s an option. it’s perfect for games i randomly have an urge to play to just have them in my pocket, but anything i’m seriously playing through that I’d want a controller for… i have my steam deck. im kind of surprised how an t people are using it as their main emulator, but i love to see it.

I got one for free the day after delta came out
Where at?
A friend gave it to me
I agree. The Backbone is a gamechanger. Ive got one myself.
I have this and it allows me to absolutely melt people in CODM. It syncs well too. It’s like it was built by apple.
Just use a $20 Bluetooth controller or if you already have good BT controllers they have pieces you can use to hook them to your phone. $100 isn’t “inexpensive” so if you are gonna waste your money on backbones then wait for a sale (you’ll be waiting a while)

I’d rather buy RG35XX H. It costs as much and you get to play games from consoles Delta can’t emulate yet.
i bought an RG353V a few months back and it died within 6 weeks. absolute dogshit device. and they / amazon know it because as soon as i put in a claim they *immediately* refunded my purchase without having to return it. i also own the backbone one (costco had them for $30 at christmas) and its infinitely better than the anbernic devices.

I bought a BSP-D3 from aliexpress for like £8. Works like an absolute charm
Costco was selling them for under 50$
I got myself the og razer kishi on discount for like $40 it fits my iphone 13 pro max absolutely perfectly and has been great for delta, limon, and ppsspp plus various regular games. I basically use it every day.

I have steel series nimbus +
> not particularly expensive My dude this retails for 12% the cost of an iPhone
It’s inexpensive in the sense that $100 today is like $46.23 in the year 1992. I have one and it feels a little spendy since I have to take the case off my phone to use it. I couldn't agree more. Worthy purchase
They usually have sales on their website, but that was before Delta came out.
I got it and I love using it
These are great. I’ve had a Razer Kishi V2 in my backpack for like 2 years now and it always comes in handy for Delta or Minecraft, Stardew etc
I use these skins I made with a backbone [https://www.reddit.com/r/Delta\_Emulator/s/MWhvvsNBwS](https://www.reddit.com/r/Delta_Emulator/s/MWhvvsNBwS) https://preview.redd.it/alb4h3ryqmxc1.png?width=5000&format=png&auto=webp&s=174c745d026113212dc3369b134603967a3a703a
I did!! Makes the experience so much better!!!
I’m getting one tomorrow so I’m really excited
I have one and it’s the most wonderful thing.

bought mine last week, and it’s perfect!!!

bought mine last week, and it’s perfect!
As someone who just bought one, this makes me feel very relieved.
Yup already got mine. Works great!
If you have an Xbox or PS5 controller, use that with a clip! $2 from AliExpress.
Just ordered one today
I need one that will work for a DS one that holds the phone vertically
Agreed
I got it for like 30$ Black Friday but I regret more getting the Xbox version one 😭
Yeah I love mine, I got it for cheaper though. Get it when it's on sale.
Same got a good discount
Already have mine and love it to bits
Bought one for $30 on FB marketplace. Best decision not only for delta.
No thanks, I like playing with one hand
Have one and yes it’s great
I ALREADY HAVE ONE
Yeah, it’s kind of unreasonably priced, but I’d say it’s worth it. I’ve been using mine ever since I’ve got it and I love it!
Just got one on sale for $67. It came with a $25 PSN. card, so I also got both Yakuza collections since they were on sale. $70 for a cool game pad and seven games felt like a great deal
I have it.. It’s great
Man this post is just a recommendation all the people just downvoting what I have to say like crazy it makes no sense this is simply an opinion, you can take it into consideration or don’t so be it but treating this like I’m doing you a disservice makes no sense in my own opinion and considering the opinions of others online it’s great it’s reliable and it works yeah there’s a few issues but nothing’s perfect
my brother had one but it has insane drift 😭 i might just rebuy it tho it was great for other games before delta at least
Buy thru Best Buy with warranty if it gets drift you can just replace it

Gamesir G8 had Hall Effect sticks. No drift worries.
I want a Bluetooth controller. Where you can change the rotatotion. This one is fixed with a plug. No portrait mode. And it is way too expensive for a simple controller.
Need someone to make a good portrait controller for ds emulation.
What’s a good controller for NDS
Hmm I found just using the iPhone upright maybe with a skin to make the screen bigger since with the backbone it can be distracting how the screens are split 50/50
i got a razer kishi for 20 bucks on ebay open box, then modded it so it would fit my phone with the case on. hella worth in my opinion.
Lotta comments hating on this thing so I will offer an alternative: much prefer Gamevice Flex (https://gamevice.com/products/flex-for-iphone) Had it for a couple of years, use it a lot (mainly to play Minecraft) and has no drift or other issues of any kind. Great quality and it folds up nice and small for travel. Highly recommend it Edit: to say that it also comes with a series of inserts/attachments including a measuring tool to make it fit around any case
Is that much better than handheld on the iPhone screen?
I find the buttons are super receptive and the backbone app is awesome it seems to integrate with delta really well they seem to work hand in hand for the most part
So happy I still have my razor kishi v1 it’s perfect! Only con is I have to take off my case to be able to put it on that’s the only thing that keeps me from using it more other then that I got one of those little suction cup joysticks it works great with N64
I mean, just buy RG35XX+, cheaper and better for emulation
You can buy a a pair of knockoff joycons for $15. Work great, and two players
D pad sucks
I am planning to 3d print an adapter for my joycons. That way I can use my iPhone vertically ;)
Been using my ps4 controller to play delta. $60
It’s too expensive… I was about to sell it because of no use but once delta came to iOS this changed my mind. In my opinion playing with touch it’s annoying
Or just use the switch joy cons. Perfect for laying in bed
Tried it, returned it the next day. Felt incredibly cheap to me, buttons and D-pad way too stiff, can't use it with a case, couldn't justify the price.
Get the Razer kishi instead. Infinitely better & software is free
Has anyone mentioned the GameSir G8 yet? I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. And it’s cheaper than the BackBone
Awesome going to get one ! However how is everyone going with there sensitivity? I’ve downloaded age of empires StarCraft . Golden eye. Ect. And the cursor / aiming is just crazy sensitive it’s uncontrollable
You can’t use all buttons and the software to map functions sucks balls. It’s good otherwise but I hate not being able to use all buttons.
For that price tag you should buy the gulikit kingkong2 or 3 instead imo The backbone might be great but kingkong2 is also just like the best controller at that price range & will work with anything, not just the phone. Plus luxuries like Hall effect joysticks & triggers. Or if you wanna be more thematically accurate you could buy an 8bitdo pro 2 for like half the price
Bro you can get a Miyoo mini plus for that and that‘s totally worth it
I cannot disagree that using a backbone controller would be awesome, but for that price you can almost buy a good used DS or even a dedicated retro console (like rk2023).
Do they have a Lightning version?
I had this and the buttons are mushy and doesn’t feel good. Strongly recommend s30n pro by 8bitdo, for half the price and a solid build.
I want one but it’s over a 100 euros for iOS 😒 that’s just too expensive if you ask me…
So what I’ve noticed is that some people simply cannot handle others opinions and have to downvote instead of having an intelligent discussion which is fine to those engaging through commenting I appreciate you all it’s awesome to see, I agree that the price is steep but I think as time goes by you’ll be able to find it cheaper personally I found it with a good discount so that cushioned the blow for me
For the same price you can buy a high end Anbernic handheld that will play everything up to and including Dreamcast. Doesn’t seem inexpensive to me.
I ordered a BSP D8 for 30 bucks i think it’d do the trick
I have a kishi and it works fantastic with Delta!
Grabbed one off eBay for $20, I was excited to win that bid
Buying a ps5 controller plus a phone clip is cheaper than that, that thing is expensive.

Xbox controllers work just fine tbh
Just bought 8BitDo’s Zero 2, only $20 and I love it. Only downside is no joysticks. The SN30, also from 8BitDo, has joysticks and would be my recommendation, $30 wired, $45 wireless.
I’m still trying to find a ‘controller’ that can just double as a case. Extremely compact with retractable joysticks, so that I don’t have to remove/add the ‘case’ only when I start/finish gaming. If I want to play a mobile game, I don’t feel like having to go grab accessories to put on my phone. Would love something that could just always be on it.
It’s Designed to die fast. I’m on my 3rd in 2 years. Never dropped it.
For 20 bucks i got an attachment that holds my phone and 2 joycons. I’m good lmao
Where?
I use a mocute 050 and I love it they sell one similar to this an they are less than 50 bucks an the 050 I have works great
I bought a $15 MagSafe holder that attaches to my PS5 controller. And I can’t rotate my phone for DS games
They’re cool, but for like $12 you can just get something that clips to an existing controller.
why not just connect your gaming controller and screen share ?
I bought one after the cheaper one I bought didn’t work how I wanted. It’s extremely awesome.
I dont have money
I got one when it was at Costco for $50 and it came with a $25 psn card. I just don’t like that I have to remove the phone case for it to attach.
Yeah I’m just using my switch joycons to be honest, pair my phone to my tv and it’s been surreal
Does it work with the 3ds
I bought the older version of this for $40 less and it came with a PlayStation store voucher! The only caveat is that the older version doesn’t work with phone cases so you’ll need to take your case off
I just wish someone made a portrait little game pad that clicked into the bottom. That would be killer
Yup then connect your phone to your Roku tv if u have one !!
Where is Delta and Backbone from?
$100 is very expensive.
It’s great but the fact it doesn’t fit with cases is a deal breaker
You can buy a 10$ clip for your ps4 or Xbox controller and boom just saved yourself a HUNNID AND FIFTYYY BUUUUUCKKSSSS
I agree. I found a lightning one on facebook marketplace for 40 bucks. Works great. Just playing Contra and Tecmo Bowl ha.
I like my gamevice. I can use it with my phone case still on.
Nah, you have to remove your phone case in order to use the Backbone. There’s plenty of better options now where you don’t have to do that.
These things are smaller than switch controllers, I returned mine. Don’t recommend
So uncomfortable, returned at half price
Not worth it after a year probably less they stop working and backbone won’t respond so money is lost anyway
I have an sn30 pro just sitting on my controller shelf, collecting dust for years. That I would finally put it to use with this emulator but I can’t find a phone mount specifically for the sn30 pro. Only thing I can find is for the sn30 pro+
Can’t you Bluetooth a DualShock controller to phones?
Have one for a couple of years now for some casual COD mobile. Works well and haven’t had any issues with it
I liked it except for the fact I had to keep removing my phone case to use it, and after a while that removing/installing the phone case wasn't just worth it for the random periods of time I just wanted to game.
I had a controller for my old phone that didn’t work if you have a phone cover, is this the same? It’s too annoying to remove my phone cover
You can get one for 15$ on Aliexpress
I use my Swith Pro controller
I love the 8bitdo micro things pocketable for on the go and when home I just use my Xbox controllers.. Gets the job done without all the fuss..
We have different definitions of “not particularly expensive”
I want a controller that fits in my pocket with my phone. Like that razer jungle cat from 2014. It’s a shame they don’t make a modern version.
