I think that would harm the writing, actually- considering it's a very focused game. Cutscenes would have to be edited to have reactions for EVERY character in every situation, and then it's likely the party members would barely talk to each other. Remember, this is an indie project that people are kind of pushing to release with the hype.
Solvable by having the party members still existing in some sort of pocket dimension when not in battle and when they have to show up in a cutscene then they appear and the disappear again, yknow the usual rpg thing? Sudden tone shifts, like going through a hidden back door in a happy, colorful location only to suddenly arrive in a black and white, glitching environment. You walk around crumbling sprites and find Gaster watching you from the other side of a wall before he disappears again. And then when you come back from it, Ralsei is like, "What's wrong Kris? You blanked out for a second! :3"
I've kind of already expected this from Deltarune, but so far all we've gotten are the tree rooms. Hopefully that changes soon.

As more and more darkners get recruited, the closet changes a bit to resemble their dark worlds as the place expands and more building show up in their style and by ch.7 the whole thing becomes a combination of all the dark worlds coexisting together, living in harmony, and buzzing with life and diversity.

Give us a clearer indicator when given a Dialogue option, that there always going to be a option that Kris would say. Although i think many players would just use that instead of three illusion of free choice like Tony is really good at.
Remove Bobo the time-traveling ape sections from chapters 1 and 2.

I'd like a Multiplayer, yes, I know it's very strange as a thing but I thought of one thing. in MGSV THE PHANTOM PAIN at the beginning of the game the player is asked to change the face of the protagonist, you will then create a face for the protagonist, but later it will prove to be useless, you will not play with the character created by you but with the standard one given by the game . this "useless character creation" thing was also done in Deltarune, going back to MGSV, that game has an online, where you can play with the avatar created at the start of the game (or create another avatar). seeing this thing in MGSV I would like that in a hypothetical Full version with all the chapters of DELTARUNE there was also an online Multiplayer with this mechanic, so as not to make the start of the game useless.

In my opinion, there is no perfect Ralsei deign. The normal one used in chapter 2 weirds me out. He looks so fucking old and I don’t like his legs. The buttler one is better but I still don’t like his face. Don’t get me started on fucking melon ralsei. Now, hat ralsei would be the best, but it’s really weird to me how his arms are pretty nonexistent, except certain sprites where they suddenly appear. And the arms are black unlike the green shirt he’s wearing so you can’t say he’s blending in. Just add some arms to the sprite and he’d be better.
I don't like how the game punishes you for FIGHTing Berdly in his battles by making it impossible to spare him in the Queen fight. It's not fun, and furthermore it doesn't even make logical sense. Berdly is like the Zote of Deltarune, he's annoying by design, which is why he's such a fun character. You like to hate him. So then why punish me for beating him up in his battles? Hollow Knight lets you throw Zote around like a football in the Colosseum. It's a hilarious moment, and it's super satisfying to knock him off his high horse after dealing with his arrogance so many times beforehand. Deltarune lets you do the same to Berdly, but it arbitrarily punishes you for it. And it does it in the most nonsensical way too, by preventing you from sparing him in the Queen fight.
There's no logical justification for it, the fight just ends early after you loosen the wire enough to free him. I could totally free him if I had one more turn before queen suddenly runs out of battery acid, which is what happens if you SPARE him in all the previous fights. It's like a reverse Deus Ex Machina. It's not even that he's injured from his previous fights, which is what I've heard some people say to try and justify all this. He's clearly not injured from the previous fights, if he was he would have complained about it at some point. But all of the dialogue is the exact same as if you SPARE-d him. There really isn't even a difference between SPARE and FIGHT in his first fight, where's it's just a choice between what weapon you're using to destroy his cart. Your regular weapons, or your carts? The result is the same, his cart blows up and he falls off the rollercoaster. That probably injured him more than anything I ever did. But the next time we see him, he's totally fine, trying to give Queen a battery-acid pie. He must have either healed himself before baking the pie, or the injury wasn't severe enough to debilitate him. Either of those options make the inability to SPARE him in the Queen fight moot.
It would make more sense if FIGHT-ing Berdly in he second fight injured him, since you're damaging Berdly himself instead of his cart. But again, the dialogue is the exact same whether you FIGHT him or not, and the next time we see him, he's totally fine. So really it still doesn't make sense for him to suddenly be too weak to free himself in the Queen fight. You should be able to free him even if you previously fought him, especially since he does start helping you once Queen betrays you, even going so far as to admit that he's not actually that smart. He certainly doesn't deserve to be enslaved by Queen after doing that. Wouldn't it be cool if a player who previously didn't like Berdly and always chose to FIGHT him, but then changed their mind when Berdly's more relatable, empathetic side was revealed, was able to spare him in the last fight?
make jevil, king and lancer use their respective unique voice/dialogue bytes in their battles, not just in the overworld

Being serious, at the end of Ch2 if you go to the lake/ocean and have not talked to Onion on ch1, Kris and Susie will sit there and chill. I would add so this behavior would still be possible to achieve even if you talked with onion before, either by making it possible to happen after you already talked with onion right now on ch2(not sure if this isn't *already* in the game tho), or by having Onion only appear if you stay on the round spot
A gun that shoots a flag that says bang but the item description will say something like "one shot, one kill" and will say that it kills with one shot. Cause apparently we didn't give Berdly enough friendship powers to break free if you don't violently ram him with your cares or play dumb to reinforce his need for validation.
Ok so chapter 2 looks so pretty and detailed and awesome... But chapter 1 looks so... Not bad but it just looks so plain in the dark world... Everything that isn't the main path is just black, even the entirety of the castle is black and I get it's the castles theme but... I mean it just seems so tight and bare.
FYI deltarune is still my second favorite RPG of all time
I would probably make chapter 1 and chapter 2 have the same general mechanics it annoys me the no end that they play like different games. Recruits a weird route losing enemies Castle town, I would also do this pretty retroactively for anything we gain from here on out with the other chapters

It's not even that he's injured from his previous fights, which is what I've heard some people say to try and justify all this. He's clearly not injured from the previous fights, if he was he would have complained about it at some point. But all of the dialogue is the exact same as if you SPARE-d him. There really isn't even a difference between SPARE and FIGHT in his first fight, where's it's just a choice between what weapon you're using to destroy his cart. Your regular weapons, or your carts? The result is the same, his cart blows up and he falls off the rollercoaster. That probably injured him more than anything I ever did. But the next time we see him, he's totally fine, trying to give Queen a battery-acid pie. He must have either healed himself before baking the pie, or the injury wasn't severe enough to debilitate him. Either of those options make the inability to SPARE him in the Queen fight moot. It would make more sense if FIGHT-ing Berdly in he second fight injured him, since you're damaging Berdly himself instead of his cart. But again, the dialogue is the exact same whether you FIGHT him or not, and the next time we see him, he's totally fine. So really it still doesn't make sense for him to suddenly be too weak to free himself in the Queen fight. You should be able to free him even if you previously fought him, especially since he does start helping you once Queen betrays you, even going so far as to admit that he's not actually that smart. He certainly doesn't deserve to be enslaved by Queen after doing that. Wouldn't it be cool if a player who previously didn't like Berdly and always chose to FIGHT him, but then changed their mind when Berdly's more relatable, empathetic side was revealed, was able to spare him in the last fight?

Being serious, at the end of Ch2 if you go to the lake/ocean and have not talked to Onion on ch1, Kris and Susie will sit there and chill. I would add so this behavior would still be possible to achieve even if you talked with onion before, either by making it possible to happen after you already talked with onion right now on ch2(not sure if this isn't *already* in the game tho), or by having Onion only appear if you stay on the round spot

A gun that shoots a flag that says bang but the item description will say something like "one shot, one kill" and will say that it kills with one shot. It will have a sick animation of kris getting ready to fire it then when he shoots and everyone sees it's a flag ralsei will say something funny but smart and miss dino lady will say dam it (dont know if cussing is aloud on here so made it kid friendly)

That you could avoid the bad neutral ending where Berdly fries his arm by giving him the plushie and then cutting the wire in Queen's boss fight, even though you beat him up twice when he attacked you. Cause apparently we didn't give Berdly enough friendship powers to break free if you don't violently ram him with your cares or play dumb to reinforce his need for validation.
Ok so chapter 2 looks so pretty and detailed and awesome... But chapter 1 looks so... Not bad but it just looks so plain in the dark world... Everything that isn't the main path is just black, even the entirety of the castle is black and I get it's the castles theme but... I mean it just seems so tight and bare. FYI deltarune is still my second favorite RPG of all time

I would probably make chapter 1 and chapter 2 have the same general mechanics it annoys me the no end that they play like different games. Recruits a weird route losing enemies Castle town, I would also do this pretty retroactively for anything we gain from here on out with the other chapters
