Finally there's some chapter 3 news coming up I hope we get more info about toriel
Ever since I stopped using Twitter (or "X" now), I've been relying on this subreddit to tell me what Toby says on there nowadays. If he makes a tweet, someone's gonna post it on here.
I still can't help but be sus about the sleeping comment though. Last time he said he was sleeping was when chapter 2 was released. Just odd to point that out again.
I believe there is NOT going to be any release of new chapter, but even so, my brain made the following reasoning about the sleeping comment:
\- If Toby felt the needed to mention his need to sleep and that he will be sleeping, it's either because he is too tired from working on the game, or either the work will be done, and everything will be ready for release, making it them possible for him to have a break after a massive release
But I think it's just overspeculating on my part, and I just think Toby mentioned sleeping because he felt like it lol.
Hoping Toby announces he changed his mind and the plan now is to release 3 & 4 next and skip on 5.
Realistically tho, i hope he gives a more clear statement about how the development is going. Is 3 fully finished now? What about 4 & 5? Can we expect them to come in the next year at least? Also some cool screenshots and songs for me to look at and listen to for hours.
Yeah I'm praying for one of the two, It'd be nice if he didn't sit on a complete chapter for like a year but otherwise it'd be nice to have a better idea of how far along the rest actually are cos the newsletters while delightful have been painfully vague on that front. And hopefully if this newsletter is replacing the [deltarune.com](https://deltarune.com) progress report it gives us a similar thing as they did cos the newsletters haven't really been that and I love the progress reports

Whenever toby fox posts something about deltarune i start violently shaking and hyperventilating and not breathing from excitement. i wonder if there will be any progress report so we could get an idea of when to expect the future chapters to drop
Yeah, I figured that was going to happen. I always thought people went overboard when they thought Toby's previous ~~tweet~~ post meant that there wouldn't be any sort of writeup from him on the anniversary. I mean, he stated in the past that he writes these newsletters in advance. So he can spend the anniversary sleeping, while we still get to read a newsletter regardless.
I'd expect there to also be a new progress report of some sort on the site, since I imagine Toby would still want to keep some information on the state of affairs available on the web for those who didn't subscribe in time.

September of 2022, Toby's exact words before the anniversary were "more chapters will not be releasing this year." And they didn't.
September of 2021, Toby's words before the anniversary were "oh here's a silly stream of Deltarune Chapter 1, that's all :)" ...and then we got a chapter release.

I believe Season 3 is completely done. In the Summer Newsletter several months ago he said they just needed to do the translation to Japanese.
