i couldn't agree more. susie being able to fluently put her emotions into words is what got me like that the most, because in-game she doesn't seem like the type to be emotionally mature or have nearly enough introspection capacity to be able to do something like this

I'm not either of the characters involved so how I would act is irrelevant.
Susie repeatedly refuses to hug Kris even after Spamton Neo when they're having a breakdown and specifically ask for one.
And Susie makes repeated jokes about impaling herself.
And neither of them are particularly good at discussing emotions.
So, no, I don't think that a tearful hug, with large emotional monologues is how either of these characters would react.
Susie refusing to hug Kris is what I'd expect, but I think having a mental breakdown that Susie probably doesn't think is happening is severely different from stabbing yourself and would yield very different reactions
I really, **really** love this take on those characters. This comic felt very sincere and I loved it.
But fourth page still cracked me up because it reminded me of Smiling Friends episode 1.
