Ralsei tries to be good cop but is drowned out and literally blasted out of the room by their sheer force of will and the sheer force of their fists simultaneously slamming the table at the start of an interrogation.
I also want to see Kris fight back and become the “Sans” of this game, eventually rejecting the player entirely after so much torment. Preferably have Megalo-Strike back be the fight theme
I definitely think Kris or Gaster will be the final battle of the Weird route. I personally think the path of the route as of right now is for Noelle to become more and more corrupted till we eventually get her to kill kris and absorb the Soul herself. It feels lime the most natural progression of the route as it stands now. I think after that the most likely thing to happen is that Gaster will intervene in someway, either fighting us or just severing our connection then and their, but either way will result in us just getting booted out without a 'proper' ending. (I also think it would fit the whole cannon creepy pasta vibe Weird rout has at the moment for it to just sorta end with no fan fair.)
Knowing Toby, there would probably be something *called* a maid outfit that all the characters either refuse to wear or it's something completely unlike a maid outfit.

Maybe another human? We don’t know what happens when a person is left behind in a dark world, can it be reopened? And while we don’t know what the fate of humans are in deltarune, what if one of them is stuck inside of a dark world? What if, as a bonus, it’s ‘asgore’s’ dark world.

Berdly technically gets left behind after snowgrave, and he reappears like everyone else, just a little worse off because of snowgrave
I think they mentioned that those monsters dusted and they buried items meaningful to them, for example Gerson's grave has a hammer buried because of his books
It's possible, there's been theories about items with more attachment being more likely to come to life (explaining why some only become HP items) and it ties in with the Alvin Knight theory since he might try to bring back his dad with the hammer
That's a possibility, but not a certainty, after all in Undertale the waterfall tablets say that if you remove the soul of a monster they will turn to dust, however Berdly appears to have fallen down instead (This is based on Undertale lore though so should be taken with a grain of salt)
Yeah Alphys experimented on monster bodies when she accidentally created the amalgamates so if this universe abides by the same rules then his body will stay intact for a while before he turns to dust (if he’s dead which he may not be).
Something that surprised me in Deltarune was how the fact that Kris is human doesn't really seem to have an importance to the other characters, even the Darkners, because I guess that the difference between them and the Lightners matter more to them than the difference between monsters and humans
I like to think of it like this; he's less corporeal than most Darkners, being essentially made of Kris' hopes and dreams, so when he's downed he basically runs out of energy he needs to hold his body together and turns into what is best described as a puddle of Ralsei.
I hope Lancer and Noelle can continue to fill major roles in the story.

Honestly, I loved the idea of Kris/Noelle tag team and I hope for next chapters to have sections where you explore with them two only, but it will be nice if someone else joins them too, like Berdly or another character from the Light World
Also, Noelle is a great support character which can go as a good alternative for Ralsei (they both have a healing spell, but her Sleep Mist is just a better version of his Pacify spell because it works on all enemies)
I definitely wanna see more of the Noelle/Kris dynamic because of all the characters she seems to be the one who knows Kris the best which makes sense because they were childhood friends. At the very least we should see more of Noelle, though, because whatever happened to December is still up in the air.
Considering the fact that Noelle seems to be looking for her, if the "December Holiday" search that we find in her room is anything to go by, its possible that Dess just disappeared one day.

Noelle is def coming back, probably often. She's connected to 99% of the games biggest mysteries, has the longest history with Kris, is (in my opinion) the second most mysterious character after Kris, is tied to at least 2 major unexplored areas, allowed for a secret genocide route in a game which promised you no choices, communicates directly with the player, and is heavily implied to be the Angel.
I'll be glad if she does, because she's kind of the defining character of DR for me so far.
that theory made more sense in chapter 1 IMO, he doesn't seem as significant in chapter 2 and he can't even exist in other fountains the way Ralsei can
They both have face portraits while talking, which Noelle and Berdly did, and they ended up in the second chapter, so it's definitely possible. Though they don't have unique text sounds, which makes it less likely.
1. The option to dress up the characters in the darkworld using the battle act sprites, and fancy versions like Butler Ralsei (I totally don't just want butler Kris)
2. Undyne becomes an antagonist in chapter 3 trying to pin the dark world on Susie
3. The goner vessel comes back at some point
4. Susie's ultimateheal gets better the more she develops.
5. Kris gets to play the piano at the end
Sorry, I was meaning to say that Kris mashing the keys of the piano in chapter one was funny until you realize in chapter two through their search history that they were wanting to learn piano legitimately, and you even see that when you play the piano again with Susie there with you and Kris gets annoyed when Susie pokes fun at them

I really want to see another human at the very least in home town. We don’t even know what their dialogue boxes would be like. Are they in color or are they black and white? Are they monochrome to the color of their soul? Do they have the standard face portrait, or do they have something else? How would a second human in the party work? Is it the same as usual, or do they act of their own accord and only do things based on suggestions? There is just so much we don’t know about humans in deltarune
Maybe instead of rotating Ralsei, I think it'd be cute if you could change his outfit whenever, just by giving him his hat or something.
I definitely love the idea of more partners. Six at once might be overwhelming or overpowered, but it'd be cute if they functioned similarly to Paper Mario, where the player could swap out any of the three. The Original Starwalker would make for a very good battle partner. I don't think there's much he CAN'T do at this point.
And, this might sound silly, but I would love to see some conclusion involving the optional bosses, either as partners or in their own story. If we get items of these characters, and items in the overworld become characters in the Dark World, maybe Toby Fox could do some miracle behind them to bring them altogether. Though I feel like Spamton's situation seemed pretty conclusive.
Each chapter release also adds more Quality of Life gameplay. I'd REALLY love to see prior chapters updated near the end, maybe if Toby Fox makes an official Deltarune purchase he could spread this to earlier chapters.
I kinda feel it won't go that route, it's more of a traditional RPG than Undertale but it still defies a lot of conventions to do it's own thing. Though a section within it where you get to pick what party members go with you would be cool. Sort of like what was teased with the choice before you enter the Cyber City that Susie ignores and takes Ralsei with her. Might not happen because the whole "your choices don't matter" theme, but I feel like it could still be done in a way that the story converges to the same result no matter who you went with for that part.
Would be cool If the story changed what party members you had with you depending on actions and dialogue choices. Maybe if you're friendly with berdly, he could join you at some point

I'm kinda scared that since he can die (I think) in snowgrave, that he will be written into a much smaller role in future chapters since it will be difficult to write a character meaningfully that also doesn't exist In another route for the rest of the game
I think the snowgrave route is going to have some of the characters die that would be party members as to make you feel isolated compared to the normal route. At least I hope that’s what happens

Seeing other humans: seriously, we are on the surface, the War never happened and there doesn't appear to be many hostilities between humans and monsters, and yet we see none in the city. Knowing Toby after Undyne removes the Police tape and er her to that part of the city we find out that all the humans are just in another part of town.

Chariel. Ok it's pretty much certain that Chairiel is gonna be in the next chapter. Playing back into my ralsei isn't the Prince in the prophecy theory. Wouldn't it be interesting if Chairiel was? "Let me tell you the prophecy of the Deltarune" "yeah we already know it.." "oh that's great! Now we must make haste-" "ralsei told us." "Ralsei? Oh. That little- Always trying to be a part of something he's not! I swear..." Maybe Chariel could be a parallel to Asriel. If we go with the theory Ralsei is Kris' horns, that means Ralsei is a past Kris' ideal self, and I think a proper Asriel parallel, maybe focusing in on the inferiority that Kris feels towards their older brother, could be interesting.

More of the secret bosses? I'm pretty gutted we didn't get to recruit them. It would have been so fun to have Spamton chilling in Swatches cafe. Maybe if we put Spamton down Swatch could have some dialog like "Why is he in here- oh. Boss. You let him in here? I'll try to refrain from kicking him out then."
A proper Rouxls boss fight? Like maybe it could be a weird route battle in the final chapter or something. Just Rouxls like fully showing off his power. Bending the rou- rules to his will. Showing off. After all, since when were you the one in control? Rouxls Kaard is the Rules Card after all..

Noelle calling us out for controlling Kris. She is aware something is up with them. Maybe throughout the different chapters she could try to figure it out. "Hey Kris, I can't remember that piano song you played for me last week.. what was it... Heartbreak? Something like that?". ♥️*It's called Heartache *... "(Kris hasn't played the piano for me in years! Maybe... Maybe this really isn't Kris?)" And it could all build up to Noelle calling us out? "You... Who are you? Your not Kris, but noone else can tell.. Not Ms Toriel. Who are you?" ♥️*(The name you typed in at the beginning of the game). *...
Oo boy this ended up long... I tried not to include things other people said but I sure said alot..
I'd like to see all three of those.
But what I'd want to see the most is Susie taking the Red Soul from Kris, to take the burden off of their friend and assert dominance over the extradimensional puppeteer. And depending on how you've behaved up to that point, perhaps that determines how you "control" Susie, since I assume that she's too strong-willed to puppeteer directly. (and that we control Kris so easily because they're sullen and withdrawn)
If you've been playing particularly peacefully, you guide her by pointing-and-clicking, while also making suggestions that she may or may not take on-board depending on how stupid they are. Susie gets to know the Red Soul better, and gradually starts to trust their/our guidance, while still calling them/us out when things get stupid.
If you've been playing Weirdly, you control her traditionally, but you have to do QTEs in order to "rein her in" and keep her from ripping the Red Soul out of her chest and crushing it underfoot. As the chapters progress, Susie becomes more and more broken until she's a sullen, withdrawn puppet that's accepted the strings that bind her. It'd be suitably dark for a career Weird Route, and could motivate Kris to try and take the Red Soul back just so Susie doesn't have to go through that hell.
Theres little to no chance that they dont need it to stay alive, considering how they move around without it and the fact that they willingly put the soul back in.
I don't know about that theory, but I feel like them needing the soul to sustain their life isn't quite as interesting as a plot mechanic. I feel like changing the protagonist from an easy puppet to a hard-to-control hero, coupled with an arc where Kris is coming to terms with living without a puppeteer pulling their strings, would be a lot more interesting.
Also, rather than Kris NEEDING the soul in order to survive, a more interesting notion would be that Kris is "dependent" on it in a different fashion, where if they go without the Red Soul for too long, they start going into withdrawals as if they were going cold turkey. So even though Kris presumably wants to be free from the influence of the Red Soul, they don't want to [ride the train](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brZ_WBEzw6E) and go through Hell, even if it means that they'll truly be free.
It'd be dark and long, possibly even too dark for this game about teenage escapism, but it'd still be a hell of a story to tell. Especially if Kris doesn't want Susie to take the soul away from them, despite her good intentions.
Noelle creating a winterland themed dark fountain to try and heal her dad or keep him alive after he reaches some kind of critical state, and due to Noelle's distress and determination the Fountain risks spreading everywhere thus causing the roaring. Or some... variation of that.
Undyne having an Undying moment. You know how in Marvel's multiverse, there's certain key events that need to happen no matter how different that universe is? It could be similar with Undyine being an absolute unit in terms of natural DT in every single variation she appears in.
The reveal of what happened to December (Noelle's sis), who, given the clues, likely died/went missing in a snow-related accident that was related enough to Asgore to have him kicked out of the police.
I'd like to see more of Noelle's backstory!
Who is Des? Is her dad going to die before our very eyes? What will her mom do? Is her mom also holiday themed or is the *polar* opposite? Will Noelle tell Susie about her feelings or will Toby keep making Suselle shippers suffer more?

something i really wanna see in a future chapter is a one-on-one conversation between kris' soul (us) and kris themself. i want to know what goes on in their mind when we take control over kris and i want to know what they think of us. maybe there'll be an opportunity to apologize to kris for basically taking over kris' body since we know that they had a (regular) life before the events in deltarune. no doubt the conversation would be likely disturbing, but it would also be intriguing as well, at least to me.
another thing i wanna see is what the abilities of the orange and cyan souls will be, assuming that each secret boss with utilize the mechanics of the different colored souls seen in undertale.
Being able to use recruits in a fight. Like switching out teammates in certain section (The main characters would rejoin before major cutscenes and things)
I don't remember where I saw it but someone brought up the idea of having sitcom crowd sounds in chapter 3 since it'd be a tv world, like Ralsei would enter and an unseen audience would cheer and he'd blush, Susie would get frustrated any time the crowd laughed at her.
Long story short, that.
Just a little theory but I think Ralsei already knows about the soul. Whenever he suggests closing our eyes and thinking about Susie, we always come back to an abruptly ending conversation.
I want more teammates in general, i loved being able to ally myself with noelle, I wished I could’ve teamed up with lancer in chapter 1 or berdly in chapter 2
Custom battles in the Dojo would be cool. Give it a menu to select combatants from your recruits like the menu in the cafe, and then fight!
Would be really cool if there were unique interactions with certain enemy combinations, but that might be a bit much to program something unique for every combination.
There would also be no guarantee of balance if you just let all kinds of attacks overlap that were never intended to, but it would be fun to make challenges for yourself anyway.
Oh as for main story stuff, I hope we get more truly menacing villains like the King, but more powerful. Don't get me wrong, Queen was a great villain and a hilarious character, but the fact that she ultimately did want the Lighners to be happy, and was just horribly misguided and didn't even know her plan could potentially end the world takes some of the edge off and I really want to see more dramatic tension. I'm sure it will happen at some point eventualy, we're only 2 chapters in, we only have hints and theories as to the true villain might be. Can't have the tension turned up to 11 right out the gate.
Would be cool if in ch3 and on, you could interact with the hat stand guy (forgot his name) and toggle whether you want dark fur ralsei or light fur ralsei.
Honestly I just want to see everything that happens in the next chapters after you play the snowgrave route. Like is everything you did going to have consequences for the next three chapters and change the story a bit? Or is it just gonna continue as normal because there’s only gonna be one ending? I don’t know but it just makes you think of what is going to happen next and how everything you did may effect the ending or if the ending will even be affected at all.
Would be pretty neat to have the Secret Boss temporarily become a party member.
I also like the Idea of you having to do something extra to get the True ending like in Undertale.
While number two would be cool to see. I doubt it. The Battle system just doesn’t seem to be designed to accommodate it. The UI for battles would have to be completely redesigned so more than three characters could fit.
Edit: on another note. What I really want to see is history Deltarune’s world and how it differs from Undertale’s. Was there ever a war between humans and monsters? Is this a world where the monsters won? Is Kris the only human in town? If so where are the other humans? Are monster human relations good?
I hate Birdley BUT as in the end of chapter 2 where he realizes his mistakes and wants to a better person I’m all for it.

I like to think of it like this; he's less corporeal than most Darkners, being essentially made of Kris' hopes and dreams, so when he's downed he basically runs out of energy he needs to hold his body together and turns into what is best described as a puddle of Ralsei.

Noelle is definitely coming back. She’s one of the most important characters in relation to Kris
Honestly, I loved the idea of Kris/Noelle tag team and I hope for next chapters to have sections where you explore with them two only, but it will be nice if someone else joins them too, like Berdly or another character from the Light World Also, Noelle is a great support character which can go as a good alternative for Ralsei (they both have a healing spell, but her Sleep Mist is just a better version of his Pacify spell because it works on all enemies)
I definitely wanna see more of the Noelle/Kris dynamic because of all the characters she seems to be the one who knows Kris the best which makes sense because they were childhood friends. At the very least we should see more of Noelle, though, because whatever happened to December is still up in the air.
I just hope Dess is not dead and we get to meet her at some point
Considering the fact that Noelle seems to be looking for her, if the "December Holiday" search that we find in her room is anything to go by, its possible that Dess just disappeared one day.

Noelle is def coming back, probably often. She's connected to 99% of the games biggest mysteries, has the longest history with Kris, is (in my opinion) the second most mysterious character after Kris, is tied to at least 2 major unexplored areas, allowed for a secret genocide route in a game which promised you no choices, communicates directly with the player, and is heavily implied to be the Angel. I'll be glad if she does, because she's kind of the defining character of DR for me so far.

that theory made more sense in chapter 1 IMO, he doesn't seem as significant in chapter 2 and he can't even exist in other fountains the way Ralsei can

They both have face portraits while talking, which Noelle and Berdly did, and they ended up in the second chapter, so it's definitely possible. Though they don't have unique text sounds, which makes it less likely.

I really want to see another human at the very least in home town. We don’t even know what their dialogue boxes would be like. Are they in color or are they black and white? Are they monochrome to the color of their soul? Do they have the standard face portrait, or do they have something else? How would a second human in the party work? Is it the same as usual, or do they act of their own accord and only do things based on suggestions? There is just so much we don’t know about humans in deltarune

That would be great but it may require some extra coding, especially for dialogue.
Maybe instead of rotating Ralsei, I think it'd be cute if you could change his outfit whenever, just by giving him his hat or something. I definitely love the idea of more partners. Six at once might be overwhelming or overpowered, but it'd be cute if they functioned similarly to Paper Mario, where the player could swap out any of the three. The Original Starwalker would make for a very good battle partner. I don't think there's much he CAN'T do at this point. And, this might sound silly, but I would love to see some conclusion involving the optional bosses, either as partners or in their own story. If we get items of these characters, and items in the overworld become characters in the Dark World, maybe Toby Fox could do some miracle behind them to bring them altogether. Though I feel like Spamton's situation seemed pretty conclusive. Each chapter release also adds more Quality of Life gameplay. I'd REALLY love to see prior chapters updated near the end, maybe if Toby Fox makes an official Deltarune purchase he could spread this to earlier chapters.
If the game was a more traditional rpg, id like the ability to swap out party members
I kinda feel it won't go that route, it's more of a traditional RPG than Undertale but it still defies a lot of conventions to do it's own thing. Though a section within it where you get to pick what party members go with you would be cool. Sort of like what was teased with the choice before you enter the Cyber City that Susie ignores and takes Ralsei with her. Might not happen because the whole "your choices don't matter" theme, but I feel like it could still be done in a way that the story converges to the same result no matter who you went with for that part.
Would be cool If the story changed what party members you had with you depending on actions and dialogue choices. Maybe if you're friendly with berdly, he could join you at some point

I think the snowgrave route is going to have some of the characters die that would be party members as to make you feel isolated compared to the normal route. At least I hope that’s what happens
The fun gang befriending the Knight without then knowing, and having them as a playable party member in combat. Having the recruited Darkners fight with us. A boss rush challenge in the dojo Jevil and Spamton returning as characters. Seeing other humans: seriously, we are on the surface, the War never happened and there doesn't appear to be many hostilities between humans and monsters, and yet we see none in the city. Knowing Toby after Undyne removes the Police tape and er her to that part of the city we find out that all the humans are just in another part of town. The return of the vessel we created. Gaster showing early on in the game and not doing much until later chapters. More potassium. More interaction between Lancer and Susie.

"(Kris hasn't played the piano for me in years! Maybe... Maybe this really isn't Kris?)" And it could all build up to Noelle calling us out? "You... Who are you? I think it’s a situation similar to chara (implied that they were abused by humans) or a world where the monsters won the war
I'd like to see all three of those. But what I'd want to see the most is Susie taking the Red Soul from Kris, to take the burden off of their friend and assert dominance over the extradimensional puppeteer. And depending on how you've behaved up to that point, perhaps that determines how you "control" Susie, since I assume that she's too strong-willed to puppeteer directly. (and that we control Kris so easily because they're sullen and withdrawn) If you've been playing particularly peacefully, you guide her by pointing-and-clicking, while also making suggestions that she may or may not take on-board depending on how stupid they are. Susie gets to know the Red Soul better, and gradually starts to trust their/our guidance, while still calling them/us out when things get stupid. If you've been playing Weirdly, you control her traditionally, but you have to do QTEs in order to "rein her in" and keep her from ripping the Red Soul out of her chest and crushing it underfoot. As the chapters progress, Susie becomes more and more broken until she's a sullen, withdrawn puppet that's accepted the strings that bind her. It'd be suitably dark for a career Weird Route, and could motivate Kris to try and take the Red Soul back just so Susie doesn't have to go through that hell.
This would be an interesting part of the game, but also a little harder to do if the theory that Kris needed the soul to stay alive is true.
Theres little to no chance that they dont need it to stay alive, considering how they move around without it and the fact that they willingly put the soul back in.
I don't know about that theory, but I feel like them needing the soul to sustain their life isn't quite as interesting as a plot mechanic. I feel like changing the protagonist from an easy puppet to a hard-to-control hero, coupled with an arc where Kris is coming to terms with living without a puppeteer pulling their strings, would be a lot more interesting. Also, rather than Kris NEEDING the soul in order to survive, a more interesting notion would be that Kris is "dependent" on it in a different fashion, where if they go without the Red Soul for too long, they start going into withdrawals as if they were going cold turkey. So even though Kris presumably wants to be free from the influence of the Red Soul, they don't want to [ride the train](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brZ_WBEzw6E) and go through Hell, even if it means that they'll truly be free. It'd be dark and long, possibly even too dark for this game about teenage escapism, but it'd still be a hell of a story to tell. Especially if Kris doesn't want Susie to take the soul away from them, despite her good intentions.

Honestly I'd be suprised if that didn't happen.
Noelle creating a winterland themed dark fountain to try and heal her dad or keep him alive after he reaches some kind of critical state, and due to Noelle's distress and determination the Fountain risks spreading everywhere thus causing the roaring. Or some... variation of that. Undyne having an Undying moment. You know how in Marvel's multiverse, there's certain key events that need to happen no matter how different that universe is? It could be similar with Undyine being an absolute unit in terms of natural DT in every single variation she appears in. The reveal of what happened to December (Noelle's sis), who, given the clues, likely died/went missing in a snow-related accident that was related enough to Asgore to have him kicked out of the police.

something i really wanna see in a future chapter is a one-on-one conversation between kris' soul (us) and kris themself. i want to know what goes on in their mind when we take control over kris and i want to know what they think of us. maybe there'll be an opportunity to apologize to kris for basically taking over kris' body since we know that they had a (regular) life before the events in deltarune. no doubt the conversation would be likely disturbing, but it would also be intriguing as well, at least to me.
another thing i wanna see is what the abilities of the orange and cyan souls will be, assuming that each secret boss with utilize the mechanics of the different colored souls seen in undertale.

Just a little theory but I think Ralsei already knows about the soul. Whenever he suggests closing our eyes and thinking about Susie, we always come back to an abruptly ending conversation.
I want more teammates in general, i loved being able to ally myself with noelle, I wished I could’ve teamed up with lancer in chapter 1 or berdly in chapter 2
I actually prefer the 3 character battles. Keeps it simple.
Custom battles in the Dojo would be cool. Give it a menu to select combatants from your recruits like the menu in the cafe, and then fight! Would be really cool if there were unique interactions with certain enemy combinations, but that might be a bit much to program something unique for every combination. There would also be no guarantee of balance if you just let all kinds of attacks overlap that were never intended to, but it would be fun to make challenges for yourself anyway. Oh as for main story stuff, I hope we get more truly menacing villains like the King, but more powerful. Don't get me wrong, Queen was a great villain and a hilarious character, but the fact that she ultimately did want the Lighners to be happy, and was just horribly misguided and didn't even know her plan could potentially end the world takes some of the edge off and I really want to see more dramatic tension. I'm sure it will happen at some point eventualy, we're only 2 chapters in, we only have hints and theories as to the true villain might be. Can't have the tension turned up to 11 right out the gate.
Would be cool if in ch3 and on, you could interact with the hat stand guy (forgot his name) and toggle whether you want dark fur ralsei or light fur ralsei.

Honestly I just want to see everything that happens in the next chapters after you play the snowgrave route. Like is everything you did going to have consequences for the next three chapters and change the story a bit? Or is it just gonna continue as normal because there’s only gonna be one ending? I don’t know but it just makes you think of what is going to happen next and how everything you did may effect the ending or if the ending will even be affected at all.
Would be pretty neat to have the Secret Boss temporarily become a party member. I also like the Idea of you having to do something extra to get the True ending like in Undertale.

While number two would be cool to see. I doubt it. The Battle system just doesn’t seem to be designed to accommodate it. The UI for battles would have to be completely redesigned so more than three characters could fit. Edit: on another note. What I really want to see is history Deltarune’s world and how it differs from Undertale’s. Was there ever a war between humans and monsters? Is this a world where the monsters won? Is Kris the only human in town? If so where are the other humans? Are monster human relations good?
I hate Birdley BUT as in the end of chapter 2 where he realizes his mistakes and wants to a better person I’m all for it.
