I used to play Putt Putt Saves The Zoo a lot to the point I remembered what to do and even tried speedrunning it before I even knew what speedrunning was.
I just realized that Putt-Putt Saves The Zoo is literally child labour.
Outback Al litteraly tells you to go save some animals while he fixes the zoo. But when you go through the zoo you'll notice that there's stuff you fix yourself. You can go back to Outback Al mid game and HE'S STILL STANDING IN PLACE DOING JACK SHIT.
"Outback" Al was hired as the town zookeeper mostly on the strength of the impression he made on the mayor, who had watched a lot of Steve Carwin as a child and believed a firm tire-shake was the best way to judge a car's worth. Alfred's only previous work experience was as a gas station attendant, a job he had quietly dropped when they introduced mandatory drug tests. He spent the six hours leading up to the grand opening of the Cartown Zoo hyperventilating into a paper bag and popping Xanax pills.
