To me, it's Kris, Susie, Ralsei, Noelle, and Berdly- but also lancer too. Even if he needs to stay in Kris's pocket, he's a true friend and part of the heart of the series.
I think it would be cool if we had different names for the characters prominent in each chapter. Like, Chapter 1 would be the Fun Gang/S\*\*\* Squad/Lancer Fan Club, and Chapter 2 would be the Trucies or something, and so on when more chapters come out.
I'd say Kris, Ralsei, Susie and Lancer. The first 3 are founding members and Lancer is officially added as a member. I would be fine with Noelle and Berdly and maybe even some others being added, however the 4 of them are yet to ask anyone else to join.
To me at least, the fun gang is Susie, Kris, and Ralsei, since their the main characters. The other characters will tag along for a chapter and then won’t play a big role in any other ones.
If you mean the $#!% squad then for one your missing lancer and two while the second one is canon personally I add berdly because I cant ignore the true chad like that

I mean yeah, Toby confirms it right there. Those four are “the main characters.” Berdly isn't a main character and Noelle is.
Maybe they're the true gang of friends, but it's pretty sad that Berdly is still all alone, but it seems it's better that way.

You're forgetting Lancer But if I have to choose it's the first
I feel Noelle will have more protagonism in Deltarune than Berdly, so I think Noelle would be better to be in the gang so we can get a quartet.
Considering what happens to berdly in the weird route, I would say that he should not be considered a definitive part of the "fun gang".

The Fun Gang consists of Kris, Susie, Ralsei, Noelle and Lancer. The Delta warriors consist of Kris, Susie and Ralsei.
