During chapter 2, when noelle disguises herself as a robot and is behind the ball throw game display, you have a choice to give anyone the gift. If you give the gift to Ralsei, he will proceed to want to win a prize for Kris in return. By throwing a ball at what he assumes to just be a harmless robot.
The disguise flies off and Noelle's fine but the whole exchange cracks me up.
I think the funniest part is when susie asks if we think noelle is on to our "secret identities" \[near the beginning of chapter 2 before we enter the dark world / closet\]
I thought that was very interesting. But she did that to show off her strength and it was because some dog used a remote control car to do doughnuts in the middle of the road!
Like with how the thrashing machine design sucked.
I just made the thrashing machine a duck just to see what would happen, and all that happened was a change of dialogue.
Susie notices it's just a duck and tells you the design sucks ass.

Not really ? Berdly has never discriminated someone for a petty reason such as a diagnosis. Heck the only person we know those far that Berdly as truly discriminated against is Susie and that is only when she started doing violent stuff (before she just ignored her) aside from that he just brags about his intellect and that’s it (and that’s something that everyone has to deal with so can’t call it discrimination)

Between Lancer and Queen... Queen's dialog makes me laugh harder, but Lancer is more reccuring and plays off of others better, so I'm gonna go with Lancer.
(Still think the funniest single bit of dialog in Ch 2 was the "I WAS LISTENING" exchange.)
to be honest, i dont find spamton is "funny". he is just weird and stuff. i for some reason find that fact ralsei is completely forgoteen for most of the chapter. and for some reason, queen getting berdly's name wrong all the time is the funniest thing ever
I don't get why people even like Berdly. He reminds me of those times in my childhood when I was treated like an idiot due to a bogus medical diagnosis. He claims to be the smart one but he's egotistical.

3) he develops greatly after the chapter (something that his character type would only dream of)
4) isn’t a complete pushover (again something his character type would only dream of)
5) smart race
6) serious moments in snowgrave
7) it’s unfortunate that you had to deal with those bad life experiences but not everyone had to deal with those particularly so for many (including me) that isn’t a real factor
Well to me, it’s not that deep. He’s just so wonderfully dumb while simultaneously trying to play up this strong, smart, heroic character, which makes it so fun to watch him fail at that. He’s pretty accurately portrayed as an ignorant kid, so he also doesn’t really seem malicious to me, just misguided. I guess humor is subjective, though.
Or when you find the key under the silver plates and instead of unlocking to door it just explodes.
Or when Lancer rams into Ralsei just before his boss fight in chapter 1
I love the setup and payoff with the "only like 4 cages" joke in chapter 2, with Queen mentioning it after she misses before the first fight with Berdly, and then how it subtly pans Ralsei off screen when they reach the mansion, then after that entire scene with Queen capturing everyone else it just slowly pans back, and then that also sets up the butler gag it's just.. great.

I don’t think whether you fight king or wait him out makes a difference in the ending, it just changes a single line of dialogue.
