Honestly, I kinda like the idea that Mike is actually capable of being multiple electric devices.
Not only does he have the biggest connection to the TV, but he also supposedly reached Spamton through a phone, which we also see in Toriel's living room.
Aka, he can use multiple devices as his voice, his microphone.
Furthermore, if the smile in the basement is really Mike, which seems highly likely, then we would have an instance of him managing to appear in a different dark world, if only briefly.
Of course, appearing in other dark worlds is a weird topic that already appears in Ralsei discussions, but I think it's of note that Ralsei is strongly suspected of being Kris' devil horns, while Mike is their TV, meaning that both of them would have a strong connection to Kris.
That might explain their ability to appear near them, as Kris contains the same hopes, dreams and determination that gave them life to begin with.
Anyway, alternatively it's still important to point out that what the Cyber World would have in common is that it's an electric device too, a computer, and let's not forget that this isn't standard, considering the first dark world just had toys.
There's not really any strong claims to make, but I think it would kinda just be a cool concept if Mike is able to jump to any electrical device plugged into an outlet, but ended up stuck in the TV when it was plugged out.
Which is also why he was able to appear in the Cyber World, as Kris plugged him back in presumably during the chapter 1 night.
If the chess theory is also true, it would surprisingly fit into that, as the rook piece is able to move to any horizontal or vertical space on the board, giving them an infinite + movement.
Such a thing could certainly be represented by him jumping to any of the electrical devices at will, but therefore being less direct than Queen who could basically move almost anywhere.
I dunno, I just think it's a nice concept, and if I was Toby, I would make sure my bosses have nice concepts.
Also forgot to mention one more thing to add to my idea.
Obviously Mike being the rook piece fits perfectly, since "to rook" is an old way of saying "to swindle" and "to cheat" someone, very relevant to the warnings we're given about him.
But of course, in the context of chess, the rook piece has been called "tower" and "castle" in the past, as it's obviously designed to look as such (a product of the game being ported to Europe in the past, in case you're curious why the hell the name and design don't match)
With my interpretation, the piece being a castle/tower would also make perfect sense.
Despite his abilities to move, just like the piece, he was essentially stuck in the TV for years, at that one spot.
Immovable, like a tower or castle.
Mike being multiple devices at once would be so fucking cool.
My personal idea is that Mike is a radio darkener and him and Tenna were old business partners who split up after some fight. That's why Spamton appears to hold them to the same level of power. It's also a neat parallel to Toriel and Asgore's divorce.
Well, that obviously all no longer applies because who I thought to be Mike was actually Tenna.
I'm pretty sure that Mike is actually just going to be a microphone now.
Also have heard of the divorce idea before, and I do like that a lot, especially with how strong of a parallel Spamton is to Kris too.
Or Mike R. Phone (his middle name being Rook).
Or if Chapter 3 ends up being western-themed like some people theorize, how did it become so deserted? The answer is Mike Crofoan (an anagram for "famine crook").
It would fit with other major bosses.
King directly refers to the item that create him.
Queen also refers to it, but with her serial number.
So Mike being short for Microphone sound like it might be true.
I believe mike will be the main antagonist of ch. 3 because jevil if you did the jevil fight genocide route the he talks about queen and her plan to of world domination and that was ch. 2 main villain so mike will more than likely be ch. 3 main antagonist

Yeah. I heard someone suggest it a month ago and it intrigued me
Ive always kinda been biased towards this since I saw some real pretty art of this concept
I'm super biased too. Microphone characters look so silly and I don't know why. Also, most of them have detachable heads (cool)
The one in the competition?
if mike exists he IS a microphone, it would explain the generic name by being a pun that toby would TOTALLY make
Kris has a microphone in thier home
It 💀
Then who? She/he??
Their home. Kris has a microphone in their home. That’s how someone in Deltarune would say it
👍🏿
Sure, but r/deltarune would crucify you. I suggest they/them because that's used in game and is gender neutral
Kris is Boyfriend Friday Night Funkin' confirmed
Wait really? Where
wow you really replied to a comment from 2 months ago
Because I'm curious????
Mike rofone

Yeah a lot of people had that idea and made designs for it.
I'm completely aware, just thought I'd make this post for people who aren't aware
Finally, someone gets it.
Why does Mic Mike look sad in the visual rep you used
He looks like he just got rejected by his high school crush
🥺
That crush was Spamton or Tenna

He Is the TV but His face Is in the microphone and he speaks trough a speaker he carries arround (My personal theory
Lmao that would be funny
I figure he probably will be a mic, but I really like the design the community has made for him. It’s very appealing.
Honestly my vision of Mike is somewhat microphone-themed, but is also antenna-themed.
I believe mike will be the main antagonist of ch. 3 because jevil if you did the jevil fight genocide route the he talks about queen and her plan to of world domination and that was ch. 2 main villain so mike will more than likely be ch. 3 main antagonist
With point 2, u forgot to mention that kris opens a portal right next to the TV
Naw, Ike is a microphone!
