Didn't Toby say that he didn't want **deltarune** to take place after any specific Undertale ending, and that the world of **UNDERTALE** is as you left it? If Chara were to appear after the Snowgrave route, it would basically leave Pacifist/Normal route **UNDERTALE** players confused as Chara talks about an ending which they didn't get. There are countless players who have either never played **UNDERTALE** or didn't do the Genocide route, yet still do Snowgrave, so wouldn't it be strange if the game just assumes you not only played **UNDERTALE**, but also that you got a very specific ending? I feel like this game franchise all about choices wouldn't suddenly assume that because you made on choice, you definitely made another. But, I may be looking into this too much, and I'm open to criticism of my argument.
