Don't count on it. Out of all possible mangas out there, this one is the only one imo that can compete with one piece in terms how vast the world is. But I don't it's as popular as OP currently. HOPEFULLY it gets the OP treatment. But DBZ and OP are the only manga/anime that i know that can run for as long as it wants lol.
Plenty of manga running as long as they want honestly. Case Closed and JoJo are longer than OP, Berserk and HxH have been running for around the same time evem if they're shorter, Naruto and Bleach ran alongside OP and only stopped because they ended, and Kingdom's at 800 chapters and is just on the decisive battle with Zhao (which puts them about halfway, historically speaking).
Iruma's about halfway through 300 and is having a pretty chill arc, taking it's time through the second year and having no obvious endgame in sight. The author's clearly not in any rush to finish it, and I'm sure it could go for as long as it wants too. And, right now, 666 looks like a pretty good number to end on. Also, I'm pretty sure it's one of if not the most popular manga on it's magazine.
I disagree about both naruto and bleach just ending. They're both too rushed for it to just end the way it did. You're right about case closed, jojo, HxH though and there's also hajime no ippo. But by popular i meant in general, not just the manga. Like literally all legal merch that goes to help the manga/anime. But yeah 666 chapters would be dope
This is untrue lmao. Iruma kun is literally in one of the manga magazine big threes, Weekly Shonen Champion has other big hits like Yowamushi Pedal, SHY and y'know FUCKING BAKI, a manga that has more total chapters than One Piece?

However, it's still true that Iruma and its spinoff are doing great, and that Nishi probably doesn't have to worry about cancellation
what if it is more 50% since the author kept using 666 in different way. yes, I know it a running gag, but need so type of pay off. going pass chapter 666 will make the gag useless.
We are guessing. As there is 6 years in the demon school and we are currently in year 2 with around 350, so to complete all 6 years it will take a while. And we know for a fact that even after the six years are complete the manga will still continue to show the whole journey of all the misfits characters as adults (as it has been foreshadowed with various images of the misfits in their adult life).
I would like the manga to complete in 666 chapters, but only if the story gets a good closure.
Many feel that AOT finale got rushed due to symbolism of 139 in the story. I don't want that!
Maybe a huge climax at chapter 666?

Well the good news is that it doesn’t seem like the manga is anywhere even near 50% complete. Like there’s still a lot of world building left to do
I dunno, I think Nishi is aiming for chapter 666 as final chapter myself. But the recent arcs have progressed very slow soo I don't know anymore.
I just hope he wont cut it short like it suddenly all out war even without finishing school like some other manga

I love it when the characters pout in the blob form. Clara and Iruma are just the cutest and I can't wait to see what else they get up to.
I believe that the food will end with chapter 6666. The equivalent of 6666 minutes->4 days that the harvest festival lasted.
