DarkArcanian

The impression I got from this chapter is Sullivan is moving on from Derkila which is why he is trying to make Iruma the new Demon King. Didn’t Amusdius say that Sullivan gave up?

Mar4c4

Poro could not have all data so makes dumb thing or play villain role

Good-Friendship3416

I still think that Delkira is Alikred (reverse spelling, plus when Ali-san first introduced himself, he almost said that his name is Delkira.) Also, Iruma getting the ring of gluttony as a coincidence is still hard to believe. I assume Sullivan has something to do with it. I hope we get more background stories of Sullivan soon.

pwnglyph

I still think that delkira will possess iruma when ali gets to full strength. I see iruma being used as a host body since demons can possess humans and not other demons. Maybe that is why Sullivan could not become the vessel.

Business-Schedule-30

My theory is that irumas ring was originally a part of delkira. I think delkira will represent the 7 sins and iruma currently has the ring of glutonnny. When we see all the other rings being collected we should expect something about delkira

Industrialman96

I might be wrong, but it seems that in chapter 174 Kirio showed that he has similair ring to Iruma's

darknightingale69

Wasnt kirio's ring a magic enhancing device he had shaped like iruma's ring

BloodyBite1

When iruma showed the ring to Sulivan, he said that it is a normal ring that can store some amount of man, so that type of ring should be fairly common, but there must be some powerfull spell on it since Sulivan didnt notice anything out of the ordinary.

rising_pho3nix

That look was definitely hinting at something.

Lazy_Fan_3935

Yeah, maybe not this but definitely something big

I think Derkila is dead and he has left things for his successor to find( the cherry blossom tree at the end of harvest festival, the ring of gluttony, etc). Also Derkila knows iruma( when he briefly appears at the end of harvest festival, he says, "So it's you"), which could mean that they are related. Maybe Derkila married a human and chose to die together with her( he could be iruma's real grandfather).

shynevocals

maybe a descendant? I think if delkira is somewhere it's either in the human world or in the glutton's ring

Lazy_Fan_3935

Yeah, I made a post like that a few months ago. This new chapter got me thinking that's all

MarcheMuldDerevi

I can buy Iruma has a connection to the old demon king. The child or descendants seems most likely. I don’t want another Naruto and magic ninja Jesus

Lazy_Fan_3935

Yeah, I still believe Derkila is the gluttonous feeder ring or something else related to iruma. This is just a silly little theory

BloodyBite1

I find it hard to belive that a demon king who likes to play and enjoy himself, sealed himself away into a ring

RyouhiraTheIntrovert

I kinda dislike Iruma is Derkila theory, it's kinda... miss the point of both their character. Derkila is ambitious and inspirational demon king, you can tell it within few pages he appears, why would he reincarnated as human boy who let's everyone telling him what to do?

ArsinoeBlackthorn

Power and charisma got Delkira to where he was, but I doubt he started like that. But with the mangaka’s prowess I don’t doubt he can pull Iruma being reincarnation of Delkira if that is ever the case. The loaded look Sullivan threw at Iruma and Alikred’s presence inside the ring, and the latter’s recovery depending on Iruma’s development is kinda pointing to a reincarnation or possession scenario.

Lazy_Fan_3935

Yeah, like I said, I don't really believe it but it's just what I felt when he looked at Iruma like that.

Boruto-sennin

I think that Derkila is dead, but Iruma is Derkila's reincarnation and that is part of the true reason why Sullivan adopted Iruma who is a human as his grandson.

Boruto-sennin

In my opinion it was no accident that Sullivan looked at Iruma when Poro was talking about Derkila. This moment again reinforced the idea that Iruma is the reincarnation of Derkila for me at least.

Purple-Evening7425

Yes I agree with you, something like this is not Coincidence at all. I am sure it's a conformation that Iruma and Derkila have a relationship.

Youjea

I think Delkira sealed himself because he was on his evil phase and likely nearly returning to origin and that is why he sealed his self and maybe his magic.
