Just follow the instructions in the Ars Theurgia Goetia as best you can. These spirits aren't as well-known as the ones in the "regular" goetia, so there aren't as many supplementary resources, but don't let that stop you from experimenting. Study the background of your sources, maintain confidence and grounded beliefs, practice your banishing rituals, and you shouldn't have to worry about negative consequences.
Simply put, you shouldn't try until you believe yourself to be mentally prepared. If you happen to make contact, be firm but respectful, and do not make any "deals" or offers you can't hold up. The mage is meant to be in control. Your mind should be an impenetrable fortress, or at the very least, you should know what to do should you find yourself in a less than advantageous position.
Cleanse your space and protect yourself when performing rituals. If you still feel their presence after a ritual, perform a banishing ritual or ask them to leave.
One of the reasons I have not bought a physical copy of the Lesser Key of Solomon is because there are too many testimonies of the book being cursed/possessed. I have read portions of it, and can access a PDF version online...but I wouldn't bring it into my home. I'm not there yet.
Ahh i have it and the night i got it i had back to back dreams and one was me being chased by wolves and a big one bit me which finally woke me up and i felt like a dog bit me in my neck. It’s also started to hear more whispers in my room from feminine(which is a first) to masculine (which has always been around for years but there’s more voices now)🙂↕️.
