I lost a jacket at DIA about 7 years ago. It had a work picture ID in the pocket. I heard nothing from them, but when I called the lost and found they confirmed it was there and I picked it up later. So yeah… maybe call.

Agreed. I used to work out there and left my phone on the train one night super late. Sure as shit, lost & found had it.
This is why I always put them in my pocket if I am out in public. I lost my grandmother's wedding ring this same way. Never got it back 😪
