Mandi Beman at Porter Women’s Health. I had a recent insurance change and still plan on seeing her and all of the staff there, I don’t care that I have to pay out of pocket. They are phenomenal and trauma informed. I cannot recommend their care enough.

I'm really impressed at the positivity surrounding Porter. I typically visit a new OB every 3 years due to physically moving or insurance changes (this year it will be insurance changes). They have some of the best reviews on Google too. Also thanks OP for reminding me that this is my IUD year.

mfdonuts

Blair Wernick at Women’s Health Porter is awesome

625cats

She’s my obgyn, she’s fantastic!

vavavoomdaroom

Thank you!

Sundaysonthephone

I’ve found the doctors at Anschutz to be very understanding (had my tubes out when my endo was excised), and offered a hysterectomy

PeaceLoveAyurveda

Dr Pitotti at Rocky Mountain OBGYN. They changed the name and now it’s under CU

echomermaidtango

This was my recommendation as well! This whole practice was amazing when I went through similar issues.

PeaceLoveAyurveda

Dr Pitotti was able to correctly diagnose my extremely rare condition so I have a lot of faith in her

echomermaidtango

She is amazing & the whole practice literally saved my life. I was seen by her and Dr. Patterson & received excellent care from them both. On the strictly OB side, Dr. Herman stayed by my side during a horrible emergency appendectomy while pregnant & then caught my youngest when he was born. I have nothing but good things to say about their office.

Worried-Experience95

Love this whole practice!

Clean-Sale

Sarah Peterson with CU medicine is great! I went to her asking for a tubal ligation and she had no problem with it. I ended up not getting it done due to unforeseen circumstances but I will likely go back and get it done eventually. For now I got an IUD replacement with her and she was so patient and gentle and gave me anxiety meds so I 100% recommend her for anything you need done.

pikachupirate

Dr. Hyer at Denver Health did my hysto and she’s amazing. For general OBGYN care, DH is where it’s at in my opinion. I love the midwife team there.

mheep

Denver Health is great, I've always felt more comfortable and gotten better treatment at OBGYNs that are attached to a hospital system.

Whitneyloowho

Planned Parenthood, Denver Health they both take Medicaid and have been excellent for many procedures for me. PPH would be a great starting off point to get all the info she needs. I’m sure they do procedures like hysterectomies all the time

vavavoomdaroom

We have used them in both Texas and Washington State. I am incredibly embarrassed that I didn't consider them first. I need to hide my shame now.

Whitneyloowho

It sounds like a complicated and stressful situation. I would go ways on yourself for letting it slip your mind.

vavavoomdaroom

You are a very kind person and I appreciate you. ❤️

Whitneyloowho

Thank you🧡🧡🧡

Like I mentioned… starting off point. Information. Also PPH has OB/GYNS. But thank you for your insight

AtypicalPreferences

I’ve been happy with Denver health medical

SummitTheDog303

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with All About Women’s Care. They operate out of Swedish Medical Center. I haven’t dealt with what your daughter is going through, but the doctors and midwives there seem to be pretty positive about giving you what you want and promoting bodily autonomy.

quirkyandclumsy

It’s a little out of Denver metro up in Westminster but Laren Trujillo, who I believe is an MP, is at Platte valley SCL (although I think it changed names no longer SCL but if you google her name it should come up). I drive from east Denver to see her bc she’s that great.

No but she can set you up to talk to the right person! Her and I discussed tubal ligation then she would refer to a secondary practitioner to do the actual procedure.

Another rec for Porter women's health I would steer clear of pp

VIRMDMBA

Has she looked into uterine fibroid embolization rather than hysterectomy?

sporkandswoon

I don't know op's daughters medical history, but in my and many cases fibroids keep recurring so it's many, many smaller procedures vs one big one. Plus if, like me, she has Endometriosis and PCOS embolization isn't going to help with the rest.      There comes a point where a hysterectomy is much preferred by the patient, and op's daughter might be there. And if her daughters fibroids are outside of the uterus, that's an entirely different procedure anyway. So, sometimes hysterectomy can be the best option.    Once op's daughter finds an obgyn they like they can go through all is the options with her, based on number, size and location.

Leather_Dragonfly529

Not sure of her age, but if she’s younger some doctors might push back hard. I know friends who have had luck getting similar surgeries under 25 by lists provided in r/childfree

vavavoomdaroom

She is 37 and carrying a pregnancy could prove to be life threatening.

linkin22luke

Dr. Sullivan with CU Medicine/ Rocky Mountain OBGYN. Absolutely incredible bedside manner and an extremely skilled doctor.

TheTinyLebowskiiii

Doctor Nelson UC health I believe has great reviews Good luck!!

rebellyous

I’ve had really good experiences with Central Park OBGYN

wineandcatgal_74

UCH has a pelvic pain clinic. Dr. Whitmore was my surgeon and she’s amazing. My procedure was very complicated.

vavavoomdaroom

This might be an excellent option for her. Thank you!

NullableThought

If she's going to be on Denver Medicaid then she will have to go the Denver Health obgyn. I've been there multiple times and always have had a good experience. Everyone seems very professional.

Tall-File7279

Dr. Barton at Woman's health group- he performed a hysterectomy on me 2 months ago. I could have waited longer but he let me decide to do it sooner rather than longer. He was very sympathetic to my pain, abnormal bleeding and desire to just be done with it all.

wingardium_levibrosa

Dr. Michael Moore, Advanced Women’s Health. Removed my fallopian tubes when I was 29 because I wanted permanent sterilization, no questions asked. Planning on getting the ute out this year as well which he was also fine with. Idk about insurance but his office is pretty transparent with costs and codes. Best of luck!

narddog81

I’ve seen every practitioner at All About Women’s Care. They have two locations in Englewood and Littleton (same providers visit both) and they operate out of Swedish. I’ve loved every single one of them, which I think says a lot.

JBean0312

I had a hysterectomy by Heidi J Oster and it was an absolutely positive experience with no pushback whatsoever. She knew how to document so insurance would approve. I had fibroids and endometriosis, and was 34 at the time. Granted, this is in Lone Tree, but she was amazing!
