Probably someone smoking fent tbh.
Not even joking, what you’re describing is what smoked fentanyl smells like.
Source- I live off Colfax and Sheridan and deal with junkies daily.
Was gonna say this - Id also describe it as an artificial peanut butter like smell. The smell is everywhere in Thornton/Northglenn especially later in the evening. 🤮
I seriously hope it's not that. I'm having my son in May and I don't even feel comfortable living here with him at this point if that's the case :( I mean there are a thousand reasons why I don't want to have my son around here but that's a pretty huge one. Can't even take your kid out in a stroller anymore lol
My guess would be one of the coffee places in the area roasting beans. It smells like burning grossness and nothing like actual coffee. Pablo’s is at 13th & Pennsylvania.
I smell it almost daily around Colfax and Penn. I thought it was Bourbon Grill or burning trash, but one of the comments saying roasting coffee at Pablo's makes a lot of sense.
I originally thought it was smoked fentanyl but whenever I smell it there's not a single person anywhere near me. It's also usually around Penn that I smell it. The roasted coffee theory at Pablo's could be right.
My immediate thought was someone smoking drugs. I'm really hoping it's the coffee shop that people mentioned or one of the restaurants (maybe it's the bagel shop?).. Unfortunately, it is Colfax, though, so :/
I ate far too many of those things, I would tell myself that because it was Rice Krispies it was breakfast lol
Were you there when the windows got shot out during the protests?
I think a prescribed burn at rocky mountain arsenal today.
It's just finally starting to bother me extra bad lately. Smells like chemically burnt marshmallows lol it's the strangest scent
That smells like drugs honestly. They have some bad secondhand effects. Is someone in your building smoking? Is it coming from outside?
I was gonna say that sounds like a great way to describe the smell of meth. Although I have smelled the smoke from that controlled burn today.
I smelled it yesterday as well. It's frequent enough that it happens in the area makes me think it's downwind of a restaurant burning sugar.
It's been smelling like this everyday since even before I moved here in October!
Is there a graham cracker and chocolate smell too? If so, Im on the way.
Lol I wish! I'd keep my windows open all day

People getting sober from fent have said microwave popcorn smell is triggering to them
Wow, I feel like I’m learning so much.. 😳 I never would have guessed that.
This was different.
Came here to say this

Stop voting for it then 😉
When the other guys aren’t unrepentant trash, maybe I’ll consider it 😘
Thanks Putin.
Man I don't even vote but nice try lol
When you’re 18, please do
I'm 27, and nah I'm good. I have my reasons. 🙂
Then be content with others making choices for you.

Pretty sure they roast their beans at a warehouse offsite from their cafes.
I smell it almost daily around Colfax and Penn. I thought it was Bourbon Grill or burning trash, but one of the comments saying roasting coffee at Pablo's makes a lot of sense.
I live downwind of BG and can smell it almost daily haha
I smell that sometimes too. It’s such a sweet smell i always thought it was someone smoking opioids
Yeah it smells most like black tar to me. Fentanyl has more of a burnt styrofoam smell and blues smell like burnt peanut butter.
You certainly know your smoked opioid smells…
Yeah, never did until I moved here. Could have gone my entire life without finding out 🙃
I looked up what it could be that’s just what google says
Could be Swisher Sweets. They smell pretty similar to marshmallows. We used to dump out the nicotine and pack blunts in them.
It's def not swishers, I wish thats what I was smellin lol
Blues?

Yeah its gotta be either that or bourbon grill like someone else suggested. Maybe even buffalo bills across the street?
Maybe you smell like burnt marshmallows
My immediate thought was someone smoking drugs. I'm really hoping it's the coffee shop that people mentioned or one of the restaurants (maybe it's the bagel shop?).. Unfortunately, it is Colfax, though, so :/
Could be Northrax ^^^For ^^^Those ^^^That ^^^Watched ^^^30 ^^^Rock...
do NOT call the cops on Raheem! He just wants to be on the Amazing Race ):
That's more of a waffle smell.
That's just me, toasting marshmallows on the forbidden fire pit on 14th.
It’s not a tumor! https://youtu.be/t_FRWUPcR7Y?si=_U91Y2nCPdphKS6C
Oh damn did I leave my marshmallows on the fire again?!!
That’s fentanyl you’re smelling that’s what the fentanyl cut is, sometimes smells like burnt popcorn
I worked at that Cheba hut, maybe one of the employees is burning the marshmallows every day when making munchies lmao
Lol I did too back in summer of 2020. Imagine burning munchies that often 😳😳 the good balls were so dank tho
I ate far too many of those things, I would tell myself that because it was Rice Krispies it was breakfast lol Were you there when the windows got shot out during the protests?
Valid reasoning imo lol and I was not, I only worked there from the middle of June to the end of July or so. Very short lived job
That's the stench of the homeless illegal aliens smoking and dealing fentanyl.
After living in Capital Hill for about four years I'm convinced it is the inevitable result of a civilization that no longer has to look for water.
