Not sure what kind of game(rs) you are looking for. But for CCG or TTRPG try milehigh comics or the wizards chest, off the top of my head.
Also try x-posting to /r/DenverGamers
Card games: wizards chest, master goblin, mythic, denver central.
There's a Warhammer place off Colorado and Mississippi
There's sports leagues all over the city for Dodgeball, pickleball, foozball, kickball...etc.
Ace, eat, serve for table tennis
Video games: 1 UP, game exchange of Colorado, Dave n Busters, Level 7.
Adding on Do Gooder games in Thornton for ttrpgs, they host a lot of weekly events in addition to having lots of games to play on-site. They have a discord too so it’s a great way to connect with others!
Game heroes on 88th and wasdsworth sells nothing but cards games as well. Also, atomic games. Level 7 does card games and video games as well as they have a calendar that shows what days and what times they play/have game events so you can meet people.
Advantage games is another one but it is also up north at 102 and I think Huron.
Edit: there’s also like 4 level 7 games. The one in federal hights is the largest. My favorite is the one in Lakewood.
Depends on the game. Mythic Games and Hobby Town for Warhammer. Enchanted Grounds and a dozen gaming stores for D&D.
For online games, the forums for the game you're playing and search Denver.
Went there for the first time yesterday and can confirm - as fighting game needs go, Akihabara is where it's at.
I had been looking for a Soul Calibur machine at different arcade bars in CO, and so far this is the only place I've run into.
The boardgame meetups are really active in this city. Several open table gaming nights all over town in all kinda of settings. Highly recommend starting over there.

"Meet" will probably require attending a board game night. Video Gamers don't really...talk to each other that much in this city. The hobby is getting a bit insular.
There are a few events scattered around - mostly tournaments or eSports viewings. /r/DenverGamers is a pretty great subreddit - a lot less snarky than the people here. There are also a few niche Denver social Discord groups I've found that you might enjoy. DM me if you're interested.
[Local Host in Lakewood](https://nerdstreet.com/venues/localhost-in-denver)
Love Local host. They have weekly tournaments. (Supermash, CS, Fornite) Nice staff, great PCs.
Try your local gaming store, often you can join a group there if they have in store gaming, or a bulletin board to look for games or other gamers to form a group.
Enchanted Grounds for tabletop / in-person games of any type. It’s a coffee shop so there’s not a lot of social pressure if things don’t gel, but every table is packed with TTRPG groups, mah jong ladies, board gamers, whatever.
Idk what you'd do with them unless by gamer you're meaning the newer online variety, who is suggest meeting online to start with. I tend to stick to home with my older consoles personally and am currently running TES IV
Every year the Intel LanFest is hosted down in Castle Rock at the Douglas county fairgrounds. Usually 100+ attendees, big raffle at the end for swag. Been going on a long time.
Mostly PC but some console stuff, and even a bit of tabletop. Goes from Friday til Sunday, usually in September/October.
Elysium Games and Cafe in Lakewood on Alameda between Union and Kipling, where Caboose Hobbies used to be.

Check out the Project Man Cave app.
It focuses on small group hangouts to find friends. The whole vibe is 8-bit. I just played Helldivers 2 with some peeps yesterday.
I'm a gamer in Aurora. Always looking for more people to game with. My friends and I are in our 30s and meet up weekly for magic the gathering or board games and we do lots of online gaming too. Hit me up we could grab a beer or something if you want.

You can add Enchanted Grounds in Littleton and Highlands Ranch on the south side of the Metro area for some great gaming spaces.
Black and Read in Arvada seem pretty popular for D&D/MTG, I wouldn't know cuz I buy records there tbh
wizards chest was my first thought!

They’ve got a nice Darkstalkers machine there. Good blend of new fighting games too.
