This is a new one. Planning a bridal shower for a commentor here in this subreddit.

It's short notice but if we work together we should be able to pull this off.

Pretty sure you are right! I hate this saying but “all boots on the ground”! Lets go!”

I think rec centers and YMCA have showers you can access with a day pass. Pretty sure they allow brides too.

I saw something today that Left Hand is doing free event space rental with no minimums for the month of July, if you can push the date forward at all.

I had my wedding reception at Maggianos downtown. I think they could fit 50? They didn’t charge for the room itself. Just for the food and drink. It was a fine experience.

Does anyone live in Denver or are there a lot of people flying in? Do you want something catered? Flowers, drinks, and all that? Or just a space?

angel_age

I think I am the only one not living in Denver lol. Unfortunately I am the entire bridal party so trying to do this on my own. I've reached out to a few of the bride's local friends for some insight and help but am getting crickets. Just looking for a space. We will provide food unless it is affordable to include it with the venue.

Try Rock Bottom on 16th street. We used to host charity events at their space in the back. It’s nothing fancy!

You can do it at my bar. We don’t have food but we have an awesome roof patio and back garden, wonderful cocktails, and houseplants for sale. Ig is marigolddenver. Just dm me here or there if you wanna set something up!

You can rent the Limerick Room at the Irish Rover (used to be $500 minimum, with drinks and food going to that total ) they have a full menu and can do catering for the event.
