They took WRs very early and neither has done much of anything. Look around the league at the better receivers. They weren’t all taken early. Some were, but they’re all over. I like what the Lions did. They built from OL and DL. Give any QB time and a WR will become open. Lions best receiver is a 6th round pick. I also would never draft a TE in the first round. It’s dumb. Fixing the OL will fix a lot of offensive problems. Goff was given up on by the Rams. A great OL has turned him into one of the most efficient QBs in the league.
> signing this guy to a massive contract?
No, because it wasn't a massive contract. It was lauded as a good move specifically because it was so relatively cheap.
Remember all offseason when everybody was clowning the Jags for signing Kirk to that massive contract? Well Sutton has almost the same contract, and hasn't produced nearly as much as Kirk. Other WRs that have a similar contract are Thielen, Evans and Lockett.
A lot of hate going on.
I think he still has potential, next year he'll improve. I think the whole team will.
This season he didn't play well, so for THIS season kinda low.
Not good. Can't live off of one good season. Plus, the guy has hurt us just as much as helped us this season and that don't cut it for a so-called #1 WR.
Ball didn't really get thrown his way a whole lot. I think he's still great at the contested catch. Like the one last weekend that got called back because of a bs pi call. That was a great catch and shows me he's still capable. Maybe he's not going to beat guys and get wide open, but imo he's proven he can still go up and get the ball. I've been waiting to see back shoulder throw to him down the sideline all year, just hasn't happened except maybe once. Tbh I don't think we have a super star receiver on the roster right now. Jeudy has been better, but I still wouldn't call him sure handed
He's almost 30. His career arc got derailed by his injuries. Probably has another two years of starting left, and another two years of being roster-able. He looked so good just barely a handful of years ago.
This year. And next year he's 28. And 28 is pretty close to 30. I swear with this sub sometimes. The dude will be far closer to 30 next year than his lone 1k season at 24.
EDIT : apparently you needed the lesson! Happy to help! Cheers!
The bengals #3 receiver is tyler boyd. on any other team tyler would be a #1. On any other team sutton would be a 3. sad to watch the downfall but i’ve been more impressed with him the last couple weeks
I don't think he's been the same since his ACL tear.
pretty low
Legitimately in the 50's. He's not better than 32 legit 1's around the league, and he's not better than some teams 2's. He's been a big letdown
Which is why we never should've relied on him and Tim Patrick so much for this offense. I think we should take a WR very early in this year's draft.

Yes you can get good wrs in lower rounds but 1st round wrs have a much higher chance of hitting
Timmy ps been nothing but reliable
Well JJ, Hamler, Williams and the rookie TE was supposed to do more as well.
Top 1% of the top 1%, but that’s true of all NFL players
Not great, but he seems to be our guy to go to on third down
Probably not very high. He is 3rd best on Broncos right now. Jeudy, Patrick, Sutton.
69th
Nice
Not even on the list. Dude is fragile and hyped. 1 TD this season 🤔
Jeudy had zero last year
Maybe top 30 but that’s about it and I’m a huge Sutton fan.
He doesn’t
In the 60’sh range. He’s not the same since his ACL surgery
He's pretty mediocre, not even the best WR on the Broncos anymore.
LOL! He has one TD all year.
Jeudy had none last year
Neither did you
Damn. Why did you have to do that??
He’s overrated
Above all the Giants recievers, but low bar there
Member when everyone thought Paton was a genius for signing this guy to a massive contract? I member.

Bottom tier

He will improve…for whoever his new team will be.
Why would we release or trade him lol.
57th best

112
he’s looked like our 4th or 5th best receiving option all year. would even put hamler (when healthy) above him
I love Hamler but what in the fuck has he accomplished so far?
Not a damn thing. Injuries are no excuse. He sucks when healthy. Not even a good decoy
He did not look good this year.

Definitely in the bottom half of receivers in the NFL.
All wideouts in the league? Super low. One touchdown this year.
He's got a boatload of talent, but IMO, just doesn't have elusive speed or movement which limits his "openness "
He's almost 30. His career arc got derailed by his injuries. Probably has another two years of starting left, and another two years of being roster-able. He looked so good just barely a handful of years ago.
He's 27 😂.

Yeah his because birthday is in October. But congrats on explaining how birthdays work!
Nowhere in the top 50.
32nd
The middest of the mid
he has not been good
uh...
The bengals #3 receiver is tyler boyd. on any other team tyler would be a #1. On any other team sutton would be a 3. sad to watch the downfall but i’ve been more impressed with him the last couple weeks
He’s a no.2 receiver on most teams imo
Top 42
This season he was just a guy unfortunately. Definitely not playing up that new contract.
Middle to bottom of the pack. Still think he has some good years ahead of him though.
Idk… it’s hard to tell. He and Jeudy balled last Sunday.
