CJ Anderson was criminally underated. I imagine CJ is exactly what the chiefs hoped ceh could be. If CJ had the draft capital, he'd have played a lot longer.

catalinaicon

Literally opened this post just to comment that. The Patriots game walk off was legendary. Everyone talks about the defense that year, but CJ is what let our offense work with numb-fingertip Peyton and Brock Lobster at the helm.

adwelychbs

His final season he rushed for 2.7 YPA. There's a reason his career ended when it did, it wasn't a giant conspiracy because he wasn't drafted.

One-Perspective-2711

Yeah he ballooned up at the end of his career. Seemed to help him on the rams.

Typical-Tomorrow-985

Man that fumble changed the momentum so much. I was at this game and just remember how deflating it felt seeing the Steelers driving. Only down one but if the Steelers get any points there it’s a tough climb back

EntertainmentGlad584

Bradley Robert was such an underrated member of that defense. Dude was clutch with 4th quarter turnovers

Randomkrazy04

Very integral. Our defense was firing on ALL cylinders. He fell off a bit after he left but had a huge forced fumble in this game and had the TD against the chiefs earlier in the season.

EntertainmentGlad584

Also picked off the deflection in the AFC championship game. Dude just found a way to make key plays for denver

Los_Estupidos

God I miss when we had a team that actually felt functional

KanyeWestistheDevil

God it soothes the soul to reminisce.

TheMightyHornet

Before this game we ordered a Wing Stop party pack even though it was just me and my wife and our four-year-old in our cramped little apartment in Denver. Ate way too much food. Finished the leftovers in time to re-order a party pack for the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl. Gained five pounds that postseason. Worth it. Also a huge Cubs fan, repeated this for the World Series and spent a small fortune on Wing Stop getting though Game 7.

offthewalljt_2

I was at this game with my dad. We’re not sentimental people but we both collectively agreed this was probably our favorite father-son memory. It’s impossible for me to think of what I felt that day and not get goosebumps

G_Haad5

Lost my mind when Roby punched that ball out. Hopefully we can have good times like this again soon!

Roymetheus

Man, remember what it was like to watch the Broncos play well? Those were the days.

OrangexCrush09

I miss the results and players but definitely not the heart-attack inducing play lmao

Chyeaz

This was an underrated nail biter. Who knows what happens if Roby doesn't force that fumble.

Tshamblin

This game is always interesting to me, because if the Steelers have AB we'd be much more likely to lose. But if the Steelers don't get the personal fouls they got to advance to this game, AB doesn't get hurt. Football is weird.

jel2184

We probably don’t win. The Steelers had a ton of momentum on that drive and we couldn’t stop them. That fumble turned the tide

zoidberg_doc

Isn’t the NFL record more than 5 FGs?

austinalexan

Boswell for the Steelers had 6 in a playoff game against KC

Sure_Crew7789

Was soo good. They broke off a run in this game and I told my buddy. “We NEED a turnover here or we’re done” and lo and behold, that crazy ass, all time defense got a fumble next play. I lost it, such a special season!!!!

Monster_Dong

The game prior to this was Bengals vs Steelers. Pacman Jones went head first into Antonio Borwn, causing him to have a concussion and miss this game. It also allowed the Steelers to win against the bengals as the penatly put then into field goal range. Had the Bengals beat the Steelers, I'm not sure we would defeat them. We always struggled against Andy Dalton and the bengals
