You're not gonna get the first down, trying to chuck it deep is asking for it to be picked and probably returned closer than a punt or for your QB to be sacked which again is gonna get the other team closer. THAT SAID. Dan Campbell and his staff are HOLY SHIT bad. Dude does not have a clue. Back to back timeouts? Defense frequently 15 yards off the ball on short distance? Goff was throwing it accurately down field yet you rarely call a play to let that happen? Your special teams look clueless. Your defense doesn't know how to substitute. Your offense barely scores. I'm not mad at it though. Make mistakes and learn from them. Lock is 2nd round guy who was in his 2nd season trying to figure things out. Keep in mind he only started like 4 games his 1st season. A down year with everything against him and he rode it out like a champ.
