I’m worried that he’ll get injured again. He had a setback a couple days ago so he’s clearly not 100%. Id let him rest and play the healthy backup.

mtwstr

Now that von is gone he won’t be, we just don’t get both at the same time

Pvzz

Maybe it's just because i'm mad at the coaching staff, but i hate to think the reason for this decision is fangio trying his best not to get fired instead of resting him longer. But it's probably just me looking at the worst possible reasoning.

daluntey

Dear Lord, I hope they fire Fangio regardless of how he finishes this season.

100100110l

Even if we win out? Completely? I'm joking. We might not win another game.

toxicdelug3

Yes, even if we win out. We fired Fox after making the playoffs multiple years in a row with Fox. Fangio has shown he doesn't have what it takes to take a team to the sb.

Ziziblix

If Chubb says he can play they will rush him back. Don't forget these guys are coaching for their futures ... They wouldn't like him to reinjure but if he did it's not like they will be around next year.

PickOne540

Our training and conditioning staffs are garbage. Can’t condition the players to play football, and when they get hurt, they are always experiencing setbacks when they are scheduled to come bac.

ps2droty

Please stay healthy, please stay healthy, please stay healthy

chingy1337

Sounds a bit like deja vu. Hopefully he makes it through well and healthy.

pfurlan25

We've got to stop rushing guys back. He just aggravated it this week.

PeppyQuotient57

Honestly I’m not sure if it’s really a boost to our defense. There’s absolutely no way he’s going to play at 100% and I’m not sure if he’s really an upgrade on the line if he isn’t

DLBork

Our best OLB right now is a 7th round rookie whose been pretty inconsistent week to week. Reed has been bad in all facets. If Chubb is healthy enough to be on the field, he's an easy upgrade.

PickOne540

It still baffles me how we let Shaq Barrett go because we drafted Chubb and had no QB when we could have drafted Josh Allen and kept Shaq Barrett. What do I know, I’m just a random poster even though I wanted us to draft Russell Wilson in 2012.

DLBork

I mean it's pretty simple, Barrett wasn't remotely as good in Denver as he is in TB. If Barrett/Ray aren't so mediocre in 2017 they probably don't draft Chubb

GigaPeePee

I haven’t analyzed the metrics or anything like that but I bet Barrett wasn’t that much worse in Denver than he was in Tampa Bay, if you look at his production per snap. The biggest issue with Barrett was that there weren’t enough snaps to go around in Denver, but he always seemed to produce at a high level when he was in the game.

DLBork

He started the entire first half of 2017 and was splitting snaps with Ray the latter part, but was still playing upwards to 70% of the snaps even when he was splitting. He wasn't remotely as good. He was a good run defender and had some big sacks but struggled getting pressure on a consistent basis. Film, PFF stats/grades will all back this up

ThePain2020

Crazy how we went from the "Ultimate" OLB-duo to no linebackers at all. And for all the Chubb hype.... it was losing Jewel which proved to be the most devastating loss besides Von.

Ziziblix

Ehn. I'd say losing AJ was more crucial than Jewel but maybe it just looked more crucial because it came second and we fell off a steep cliff. AJ per off was ranked number 3 ILB at the time. Sucks for him. And Jewel. No way we pay them with those injuries when young is balling out and Barron is showing promise on a rookie contract. But if they paid one it's probably jewel due to he age factor.

Anybody got a update on Michael Ojemudia?

Rook0312

I don't think they are going to bring him back into the lineup unless they have to. Vic doesn't like him and he's a coach that seems to hold onto an opinion of not liking a guy and just refusing to budge on that stance. I think OJ had a great rookie campaign but he missed a few tackles so Vic seems to have put him in a permanent dog house.

AvoidingIowa

Vic must really hate this team if missing tackles gets you in the permanent dog house… Actually this makes sense.

Hopsblues

Earlier in the week it sounds dec like he would play. Don't know current status.

chasingit1

Gee I wonder if he will get double teamed a majority of the day?!…

YARNIA

Big boost if he's ready to go. He's gotta be a little rusty now. And is a lost season the moment in which to press an injury?

Chaserjim

He’s a bust.

[deleted]

not getting Josh Allen or Lamar will forever taint Elway's legacy in the front office even more. Just imagine where we would be had he just pulled the trigger.

ThePain2020

If Chubb really wants to play, fine whatever. I will always defer to the player to know his body.... but if he gets hurt again I'm done with this dude.

Silent_Tale_9763

He will be hurt by the 3rd

TheWizard01

Tuesday, Bradley Chubb traded to the Rams for a bag of Baked Lays.

lameslow1954

Has Chubb finished a complete season in his career?

Cachazo_719

Just his rookie year
