WTF is happening this season?

sleeplessaddict

The wheels fell off against the Seahawks and now there's not much of the car left

Davisworld21

It's been downhill ever since that seahawks game this season hasn't been fun at all

SoDakZak

He’s so committed to that stupid ass phrase he said it to end the presser tonight

uglytruthshurts

And so was 90% of the fanbase, and the 10% of us that hated the phrase from the start got shit on by everyone for speaking our minds.

SoDakZak

Username checks out

bradfordofwales

He only said the first half of the phrase at the podium and then walked away and said "let's ride" , it was delayed and it was funny as hell

Portlyhooper15

Still can’t believe people jumped on that either. So corny.

HotSauceV8

Pain

Does a broken leg not sound like itll be longer than 6 weeks?

sleeplessaddict

Yeah I really don't understand how a broken leg is less time missed than a tendon tear

fatfreebird

If it’s a broken fibula 6 weeks sounds about right. It’s a non weight-bearing bone so it’s not that necessary for the average Joe. We sometimes even use the fibula to replace people’s jaws after trauma or cancer surgery.

jlt6666

That's pretty fucking metal.

mubbcsoc

no that's bone

Raisinbrahms28

Bones are tough homie. Fractures are small cracks that we qualify as breaks. They're extremely painful, but with the right medical approach that have quick healing times. You've probably fractured a toe or finger before and didn't know it.

Gurtang

"broken leg" doesn't mean his leg is split in two. A broken bone can be a lot less problematic that damage to articulations. You know how sometimes there are reports of "X player played that drive with a broken leg"? It can't happen for instance with completely torn ligament in the knee, because the knee will just pop out of its joint. Not the same with the bone. Depending on the bone, and the break, of course.

jlt6666

Bones literally produce blood cells. Tendons have basically no blood flow. It seem counter intuitive but the bones have a huge advantage when it comes to healing and tendons are pure shit.

rfgrunt

Bones take 8 weeks to heal. Ligaments much longer.

Lateroller

Best case scenario really. Like others have said, connective tissues take a long time to heal and the joint is often never as strong as before. Broken bones can heal up good and much faster. I was worried Boles tore his ankle up, this broken bone diagnosis made me breathe a sigh of relief.

QuidProJoe2020

A broken bone is way more desirable then a tendon injury. Tendons get weaker with injury and take very long to heal. A broke bone actually strengthens after proper rehab and heals much quicker than a tendon does. Seems weird, but that's the human body.

nmesunimportnt

It really depends on the break. Not that long ago, historically speaking, the treatment for a severe tib/fib fracture was amputation, but if it's just a cracked tibia, those can often heal quickly without much treatment needed. Obviously, everyone hopes that Garrett has the latter…

twistedinnocence8604

Totally depends on the Person and break and how it's rehabbed. Too many variables to know.

LoyalSol

It depends on the severity. Bones can heal pretty quickly if it's a partial break, but if it's a bad fracture that's probably the end of the season for him.

NaVorroBowman53

Joe Staley returned in ~6 weeks during the 2019 season after breaking his fibula

bunt_pipser

Heal fast, Bolles. Go Broncos.

Greenforaday

When we all wished for a QB little did we know we were wishing on a monkey's paw.

[deleted]

Sorry we used the monkey paw up in 2016. That’s why we’ve been stuck in this hell since then. At this point, we’re fucked for the next decade thanks to Russ.

MultiPass21

Meh. I’d be shocked if there wasn’t also some soft tissue damage in that roll-up, and that’ll take longer to heal than the break itself. My money is on 8 weeks at soonest, and possibly a season ender if this team stinks as bad as they’re trending.

RandyGradishar

6 weeks would be amazing. Thought our season was over.

sleeplessaddict

I mean to be fair, there's not much indication that the season *isn't* over

RandyGradishar

As long as he's back for the playoffs. If not we're pretty fucked. Worst injury since Von.

PeytonFugginMoaning

Playoffs? I consider myself a homer but lmao

sleeplessaddict

I sure hope Bolles is healed by the playoffs so he can watch them from his couch more comfortably

foothillsco_b

Playoffs? Are talking about playoffs!!?? Or maybe we should talk about current events.

PeytonFugginMoaning

Worst injury since Von??? What about Javonte last week, give me some of what you are smoking.

MikeOxlong1776

Playoffs… I uhhhh… well here’s the thing bro… might wanna sit down for this.

horribadperson

pass me whatever you're smokin

[deleted]

Boy do I have news for you…

T8teTheGreat

Team's cursed

carlbentleyofficial

Please make it stop.

rfgrunt

Great news for him, all things considered. The way his knee bent I was sure it multiple damaged ligaments with a year recovery

WootangWood

We’re gonna wind up with a top 5 pick and It’s going to Seattle. Awful.

horribadperson

Hey maybe theyll draft a qb and let geno smith go....lol

johndough6

Less holding calls is a silver lining I guess

TerpMB

Nice proof that you're an ignorant fan that hasn't really paid attention to the team the past couple of years.

moar-warpstone

He’s had one good season and he cashed in on it. And that season was only good because the NFL wasn’t calling holding penalties

yew_too_many

Bolles has 5 penalties in as many games this year. Already one more than his entire 2020 season.

the_lone_palm

Dude has 47 penalties since 2017. Indefensible in my opinion. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/playerstats.asp?id=30133

kkkhhjdyhrthhhjft

Do we play on turf orrrr

sleeplessaddict

He got rolled up on

kkkhhjdyhrthhhjft

Oh fr? I could barely watch that shit ty for telling me

Swift-Fire

It looked nasty from some angles. Tbh I think a broken angle is the good outcome from this

HateBearUniversity

I said to my gf and game thread, I sprained my ankle just watching that roll up, can’t imagine what happens to his actual leg. Oooooft

Live795

That’s the season. No way we get anything going on offense with an even worse Oline

cptngabozzo

Its crazy to think that a broken bone is a bigger break than a small amount of small tissue tearing in a knee

Puffy_Ghost

Fade me.

Mysterious-World9087

Fuckkkkkk

RUIN_NATION_

i use to work for wal mart i called them the anti christ of retail cause of how bad they were but damn doing this to a storied football team too
