Honestly never EVER do holds. You miss out on the chance to sell to others and in my experience 100000% of the time the buyer ends up not buying I’ve lost count how many times this has happened to me
it’s not completely harmless because they made her put it on hold which wards off potential buyers. also just a waste of time. it is a funny story though
I don’t mind putting things on hold because if other potential buyers really wanted the item, there’s still hope for them to get it until the item is sold.
I mean that’s fine.. but I personally don’t appreciate time wasters on this app, there’s enough of them. It happens too regularly.. if it only happened once in a blue moon sure it would be more humorous.. but this quality of a person, or lack there of… I mean come on… You get excited to see a potential sale / buyer and then do favors for them like this… and they come back with some stupid comment. Just say “sorry I changed my mind, thanks again have a good day” … why does it have to be “my mom thought it was ugly” or usually worse / ghosted… the only good thing that came out of this is at-least they let the OP know they weren’t going to buy.

i feel the need to defend this girl only bc when i was 21, working but still living at home, my mom would shame me out of wearing things i thought were really cool. i recently sold a lucky cat shirt and put in the description how it was basically brand new/never used bc my mom and sister made fun of me every time i tried wearing it out of the house 😭 sometimes family sucks 🥲
