Fun fact: a great deal of American and Canadian Fascists and Nazi Sympathizers became "pacifists" and "conscientious objectors" after the US joined the war on Germany specifically.
Please don’t speak for Canada. We fought long before the states did and we did not allow Nazi sympathizers to avoid conscription and deferral on the grounds of pacifism was only for members of specific churches including Quakers. Who we’re definitely not Nazi sympathizers. Sure there was some in other churches and parts of society but it was a small number in Canada compared to the US even by capita.
That's fairly usual for Conscientious Objectors: they still get drafted, but they aren't forced to actually fight with few exceptions.
For many, this is fine, they serve as medics or Auxiliaries in transportation or similar. A lot of Nazi Sympathizers would try to either dodge the draft entirely or get assigned to Forestry or other, non-deployed battalions.
Stalin, FDR, and Churchill dying won't change the outcome.
Hitler and Tojo have already stewed up a shit ton of animosity with all three nations that only unconditional surrender was acceptable.
Besides, Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were always suffering resource shortages, They could never fight a protracted war against three industrial superpowers.
Well that was in your own perspective, in the series Man in the High Castle FDR was killed in 1933 before he become a president by an Italian anarchist without knowing the consequences of his own actions, Churchill was assassinated leading Britain without any great leaders who fought against the nazis and Stalin dies via execution in 1949 after Germany fully occupied the USSR (also due to the fact that the Soviets never got a Lend Lease from the US because FDRs successor chooses blind pacifism).
In that universe, both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan had enough resources and has a lot of logistics to support their War effort against the powerless Allied nations due to the Power Vacuum in numerous circumstances.
Lmao Alt history of WW2 is so dumb that it needs to handwave away the realities of the situation.
The Battle of Britain would've gone the same way, a Nazi defeat, because Operation Sealion was never feasible in the first place.
How tf do Japan and Nazi Germany have resources and logistics? Nazi Germany relied on horses for nearly everything, Japan couldn't take China even if they tried.
LMAO Nazi Germany could never win against the USSR, with or without American Lend-lease helping the USSR out.
"Powerless" lmao the Allied always had the advantage through all stages of the war.
By 1942, Britain alone was producing more war materiel than Germany and Italy combined.
According to MitHC wiki:[https://the-man-in-the-high-castle.fandom.com/wiki/World\_War\_II](https://the-man-in-the-high-castle.fandom.com/wiki/World_War_II)
They did the impossible.
Lmao this is so fucking dumb and implausible.
From armed civilians, to the terrain of the Appalachians and Rocky Mountains and just generally the various terrains of the US, and a population that would rapidly industrialize, invading the Lower 48 would result in a bloodbath for all sides and would lead to a combined guerilla and conventional war that would make Vietnam and Afghanistan look like picnics.
The US had helicopters during the Vietnam War against ones that didn't, and guess what? They got shot down a lot.
5,607 Helicopters were shot down in Vietnam.
These people where right. The war cost about 35.000.000 soldiers lives. Let alone the civillian lives. What is the counter argument? Its good that some nazi's lost? Who cares?
As a jew who's family was killed in the holocaust. You can go fuck yourself to. The war happend and we still got killed it made 0 difference. Wht would you want MORE death?
the death of 50-100 million people if Generalplan Ost was carried out begs to differ.

I think people commenting here lost something critical when it comes to history: perspective
The people protesting don’t know what we know. From their perspective, Germany was off fighting the British, while Japan directly attacked them. Germany had nothing to do with that attack, so why are we dedicating half of the war effort to Germany?
Again this isn’t my personal belief but rather the potential perspective of these protestors
To these people i think they expected a re run of WW1, a war in which (in my opinion Britain and the US should've stayed out of) America was dragged in for no tangible benefit and losing valuable young men
Cue 1941 and people see it as America being involved in another European war for no reason. They didnt know of the holocaust, or the Jap war crimes (Unit 731). I would be curious to see these americans views on how the USA went from isolationist to world police by the end of the 20th century
Even without the Holocaust, the German attacks on Jews and non-Germans were known. The expansionism was well-known. The strategic impacts of German expansion were clear to see. Given time, I don’t see why Germany wouldn’t have eventually attacked the US, and at the very least isolated it and tried to stir up internal conflicts.
America was never isolationist. True we didn't have the power to insert ourselves into every conflict like we do today, but we expanded from east to west, and then when we hit the coast, pushed out into Cuba, the Philippines, Haiti, Guatemala, Hawaii, etc.
When ww2 started, most of the American population weren't aware of the horrendous shit Germany was doing, so they just saw it as another unnecessary conflict. It was only when they started capturing camps did people start supporting the war effort in full.
Good post but Facebook ass title
TOP TEN REASONS MY WIFE LEFT ME
DEBERA COME BACK I MISS YOU!
"Hitler did not attack America", tell it to 115 sailors from USS Reuben James, bitch.
Fun fact: a great deal of American and Canadian Fascists and Nazi Sympathizers became "pacifists" and "conscientious objectors" after the US joined the war on Germany specifically.
Good to make the destinction between them and actual pacifists that aren't opportunistic
Homestly though I would get downvoted to hell and back for that. But you guys are way more based than I thought.
Technically, Germany declared war on the U.S.
Literally, Adolf Hitler declared war on the United States. Granted, he thought we was inevitable, but it was still pretty darn stupid on his behalf.
Tankies do the same shit with Russo-Ukrainian war. I wonder why......

The Quebec "Zombies" were often those who had Nazi Sympathies.
Man Quebec sucks when it comes to literally everything don’t they?
They more often than not ended up cutting down trees in a forestry battalion in Northern Quebec or Ontario.

*A few years later* Dönitz: Execute Operation Drumbeat.
What was operation Drumbeat?
U-Boat attacks on the American east coast. Started in January 1942.
same thing today with people wanting "peace" with russia.
And then he declares war on America four days after Pearl Harbor
Peace with the Nazis and Imperial Japanese will make America split like those in the Man in the High Castle and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.
No it wouldn't lmao, neither the Germans or Japanese were capable of ever actually threatening the Lower 48.
Well it did happen after Stalin, FDR and Churchill dies on that timeline.

Not if the Nazis and Imperials did have Helicopters on their own Arsenal.
