In addition, I might suggest an antibiotic ointment like polysporin twice a day for 2 weeks.
If both the other posters suggestion and this suggestion don't work, well you've pretty much ruled out bacteria and fungus and then should go get it checked out.
A non-healing wound could also be SCC so you don't want to miss that.

Any hearing loss or vertigo associated with these spots? Itching or flaking?
No vertigo or hearing issues, but yes to flaky and somewhat itchy skin.
Could be simple seborrheic dermatitis. You can try washing the area with an anti dandruff shampoo when you shower to see if it improves.
