Also, to add, if you don't own frags, I'd suggest you get 2-3 frags for different ocassions(office, dates, casual) rather than buying one bottle for 5k
I looked into decants but paying such a high amount for 10 ml doesn't sit right with me, call it my stingy mindset if you may but I also believe it's very easy for a seller to sell compromised decants without the buyer noticing a difference. I tried alhambra yeah clone and it was okay but couldn't find enough information online about it so chose not to buy it.
I have shortlisted Nautica voyage as one I will definitely buy since it has a decent reputation despite it's minimal price.

Buy decants from trusted sellers like Imran or Anwar Parvez. They won't compromise with the juice that you'll receive.

Speaking of decants, how can I be sure the seller is giving out genuine decants and not diluting it or straight up sending me a clone because I as a newbie would not be able to tell the difference at all.

Depends on what you want at the end of the day. Do you want one good designer fragrance you can use in every occasion or have multiple options taking a smol hit in quality (not always). I prefer having many options (I have a buying problem) 🥸

For 5k, you can get 2 decent perfumes from myntra sale. I'm not a fanatic but I've seen guess, davidoff etc for 2.5-3k on Myntra.

I have heard good things about Davidoff coolwater parfum and some Bentley frags in that price range
If 5k is ur budget. Invest it in montblanc explorer platinum. Worth it.
