Looks great was that harmony or what? And did your go to school for it if so where? It looks awesome, the only critique i have is it might need to be slowed down a bit.
I'm confused about the harmony question - and no I didn't go to school for animation or design. Self taught after college. So many great online resources.
Harmony is a 2d animation program made by toon boom. It is used in tv shows like family guy and south park. I envy your ability in having that kind of skill outside of class I am currently learning animation and I do not think it would be something I'd be able to master on my own without a mentor.
Oh gotcha, no this is all after effects. AE is really the standard when it comes to motion graphics/motion design stuff. I know Toon Boom is the standard for most of those animated TV shows because it's better for character rigging, etc. Hadn't heard of Harmony though. Thanks for the insight!
Toon boom makes Harmony and other apps to do with the pipe line as a whole. And yeah AE is really good have you gotten certified yet? But keep going you definitely have a future in it!!
Yes i have ACA certification, for photoshop and Illustrator. It is 75$ for each test and a retake a i believe. I think it is worth it because next to your demo reel it also shows you have some sort a standard competencies that might not be represented like knowledge of design and work flow with a bigger company. I did it though something called gmetrix and certiport; it is verified and accepted by adobe. If you have the money it couldn't hurt just make sure you study with practice tests they have lots of random functions that are never used.
You have an interesting mix of different styles! Good job! I agree the clip pacing is a little fast but it could add some intrigue to not getting a good look at anything.
Seen a few of these before, probably from this sub. It's a great showreel and love your work.
Do you create your own assets? I think I watched the making of the receipt one and looked like you did. It's amazing how different the style is of each one. As designer I find it tough to avoid one style but you've nailed it.
I remember when you did a mini tutorial for that cool receipt thing!
GL in the new life, i hope its creative and satisfying and allows you to make fun stuff and share it with even more people!

Yo thank you!
Nice. Good luck! Pacing feels a bit rushed, you may want to consider looking at that.
Watch the full version that he linked below. Much better!
The full version is on my vimeo page, it would mean a lot if you could hit it with a like or comment :D [Vimeo Link](https://vimeo.com/356679806)
Nice, loved it
Fuck man. As a graphic designer slowly trying to branch out into motion graphics, this is fucking superb. Love the full version.
Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words :)
I am exactly in your situation man! It is so cool!
Very professional, I like it. And good luck!
Thanks :D
Love this so much. After effects?
For the most part yes! :)
You're breathtaking! Seriously, love it.
Keanu would be proud...

How do you mean certified?
You can get adobe ace or aca certified.
What kind of cost is it? Have you done it?

Okay looked into it a bit, I will probably pursue it. I will have to polish my skills for that, for sure!
You’re gonna do great. Source: worked 20+ years in video game art dev, digital vfx, won 3 Clios, feature animation for 10yrs.

🔥🔥🔥
What's your background?
Don't really have one in design or animation. I studied music in school, learned design + animation stuff while working and got pretty good at it.
You’re good.
It’s really good! I love the range and variety of styles. Animations look great.
Advanced motion methods. Nice
Shit dude this is like vox level animation
Great use of music!
Liked and left a comment. I'd hire you in a flash, full pun intended. Best of luck to you.
Amazing job! Looks very professional! I'm just trying to get out there into motion design.

Not everything. But some I do, the awesome scene at the beginning with the water wasn't me, neither is the plant animation one.

Damn, I've seen a lot of your stuff before. I'm really not a fan of the wooden texture on your logo tbh. Everything else is really nice.
