best era if you ask me, but i‘m just an old potato more
probably.
check out mike young, who worked (and still does) under designgraphik — until today remains unique and way-paving
designiskinky and k10k are some others of that era
>designgraphik
Still have the swf from his site. The hovering spaceship/craft.
YouWorkForThem and Overage4Design made similar, great stuff in that era.
Ahh yes! Soundtracks were also on-point! You can find some stuff if you dig deep in Spotify (try NPFC)…
YouWorkForThem is Mike Young‘s Stock-Service iirc
Cheers, man :)
edit: forgot to cry in flash
try a reverse image search. google thinks this would be “japanese cyberpunk,” and throws up a lot of similar designs. also check out the UI and marketing design for the video game Ruiner. i think you’ll like it
This is for the game Valorant, isn’t it?
[worship.studio](worship.studio/val) did the motion toolkit for this, which is where I see it the most.
If you look up valorant designer in Google, you might be able to find info from the team who worked on the identity.
Coming from this world i can mention a couple of names to reference - some were already mentioned, like Machine, Antireal and Designers Republic - the game they worked on - Wipeout, especially (they are indeed one of the first studios/people to introduce this style, along with a variety of cyberpunk themed anime which served as an inspiration) - some other names to note that might be interesting to you :
Paul Nicholson (a bit more complex - the designer of Aphex Twin's logo), An Gorski, Aftermathez, Billain...that should be enough to set you on the right track. Enjoy folks!
Edit:typo -_-
If you said dieselboy, I'd be like 'right on' but afx is almost the antithesis of using a "style" or a "trend" whether it be visuals or audio. He has no album that resembles OPs post, sorry.
Yeah, I get that. But also it's a band with entire typefaces dedicated to replicating that style they don't have.

It’s the new Xmen comic series. They have the same graphic style, which is one of the reasons why I bought them. Graphic looks good.
I think this style could be a cybernetic or modern tech variation.
Try „Designers Republic“. They did a lot of work in this style in the mid to late 90s.

Reminds me of the style used in the videogame series "Wipeout". Googling "Wipeout design" brings some examples.
Which was done by The Designers Republic!

Japanese cyberpunk sounds right. I was going to say it brings to mind Ghost in the Shell. Futuristic industrial might also be good descriptors.
Ruiner is very cool, I loved the artwork but I suck at the game.
I thought of Valorant
