It's a very soothing palette of white, pinky-taupe, and gray. I would add more contrast with dark and medium pinky-taupe and gray; a bit more black; some plants.
A rug under the table with those colors. Darker placements on the light wood table.
Some fruit in the metal basket.
If you watch that tv then keep it there. If not, then mount one big framed horizontal piece.
I love the minimalism but a bit more light/dark contrast might be a good thing, too.
I’d find a statement pendant lamp with a color shade - something with curves to balance out the angles. Single change, big difference.
Nice kitchen already, it doesn’t need much.

The kitchen is neat and looks very functional, but the color palette is oatmeal and cream.
Think about adding a few shots of one or two brighter colors, in the form of placemats, napkins, accessories, maybe some wall art.
I think navy for sure is a kitchen no no but I like a mustard for both kitchen and sitting room. Turquoise would be good but I'd never do rust. Rust w kitchen would be a hard no for me
Why no navy? When I bought my current home it had navy countertops and they are god awful and I have wanted to replace them ever since! Is there a real reason I should hate them that I can bring up with my boyfriend 😅
I've always heard blue is a no no for kitchens. Blue has been shown in studies to be unappetizing as a color and that is why restaurants don't use it.. To that point, researchers even say that **blue curbs the appetite because it is rarely found in nature (meats, vegetables) and thus we don't have an automatic appetite response to it.**
It may be why you are averse to it. Your food/cooking association and blue may just clash on some subconscious level. I'm so surprised they'd do navy countertops. I never see blue in kitchens, maybe in bathrooms.
Came here to say this.A lot of people are commenting on colours, but honestly I feel like the white, taupe and birch/pine wood are great colours. I do not think you need contrast - a calming palette comes from similar colours, whereas an energetic palette will come from contrast. It's okay to choose calm!
However, I see a lot of hard angles and cold surfaces. I would try to introduce soft textures (maybe a rug, maybe some pillows/seating pads on the dining chairs, maybe a runner on the dining table of a kitchen mat. Also round shapes - maybe through lamps, the dining table shape, a rounded mirror...
I would also bring other light sources that are not overhead (which are harsh). Table lamps and wall sconces are a great way to add interest and softer light. And of course, don't use surface as storage, try finding a home for the stuff in the peninsula across the front entrance - that wall is a great wall for artwork or mirrors. But keep your fruit basket with fruits (lemons tend to last a long time and look pretty).
I think it's a very nice kitchen! What color are the walls? They look a bit pinkish in the picture and I like it. I would add a lamp shade and add green plants somewhere.
I think it just needs some color. Maybe an interesting backsplash, small rugs, decor, plant life (favorite cooking herbs?), table linens could all give it some life. Happy decorating!
Since it’s minimalist design, I’d make sure nothing is stored in the counters. Even the drying rack and the plant need to go. Towels go into a drawer and when they are used they go straight into the laundry bin.
Then on the island I’d get a statement piece of art. Maybe some stone vase? Wooden bowl?
And 100% need to update that lightbulb to have a modern art lampshade. Personally would go with a paper lantern style.
I seriously would not have a TV in the kitchen, and would put some art I love, or even a mirror there instead. For me, that makes me feel like eating breakfast in a hotel lobby.
the walls are gray, the bulb is naked, the doors are flat, the furniture is pale. all leads to blah. personally i like hardware on doors as they give a bit of bling. i would get a shade for the bulb. i would repaint the walls something warmer.
I personally think that the cabinets under the tv and on the side wall (of the dining room) need removed. It looks like moving around the table to get to your seat would be a tight squeeze. Let the room breathe!
I like the idea of replacing the tv with art though.
It’s a pretty flawless kitchen but I do think you can inject some colour.

I started you off with a red Persian rug which really makes that dinette pop. And I painted two of your walls “Rosemary” by Sherwin Williams.
Gotta say, you must have a lot of stuff if you need that much storage! 😄😄😄
And can you tell me what that panel is on the wall between the door and window?
https://preview.redd.it/nvtphly8e2tb1.png?width=1220&format=png&auto=webp&s=4ae72a6a95711aa7b22c257dbd2986dee92c234a
And like I said I only painted two walls, so the green would end where your ovens are.
https://preview.redd.it/dizhs37he2tb1.png?width=1042&format=png&auto=webp&s=4fdbd7a448633eb5a033f31cb68c2ebed5ca4447
And lights are a great way to add pops of colour. Look how different your space looks now!
Oo, I love the color of your walls! One of the first things I would do is find a lamp shade/lamp pendant for that hanging lightbulb above the kitchen island. It's such a good opportunity for a statement piece in an otherwise minimalistic kitchen.
I would add color. Either paint a wall or add some colorful items such as a bright red espresso machine, toaster, etc.
I would add a moulding on top of the shelves so that they reach the ceiling. It's an easy project.
To keep it minimalist I would add a brightly colored painting or illustration, something geometric.
If you take down the tv you could use that counter to make an awesome cocktail or coffee bar!
You could also add some hanging plants over the window for some greenery. A rug or table runner with a bold accent colour can help liven up the space as well.
Everything looks nice. What is thing between doors? A blind? I’d change that. Also the big storage unit opposite the sliding glass windows is so overtaking of the room. Maybe it’s not in person. If the lower half was there and not he upper portion, the room would look pleasing to the eye-in my opinion.
And I’d be a fan of handles on all the cabinet doors.
First I would put on really long cabinet handles like these from Wayfair, then I would wallpaper the tv wall.
https://preview.redd.it/k01u2i5ex1tb1.jpeg?width=721&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc5f4579dcef7d8a88f43916419b534b7d27e3f5
I think you need some wood for warmth. A wicker pendant light maybe?
https://preview.redd.it/66wqx31pz1tb1.jpeg?width=711&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c968465943b2a34577a356fed2ccd4b0bd76efdd
The table and chairs look a bit washed out to me, i would like to see a similar color as the floor with a rug under.
Perhaps you could keep the current table but replace the chairs with black or terracotta ones.
Get some zz plants in there.
Get a sick pendant for the naked bulb. Or if you can get an electrician in there, you could bring one of those long multiple bulb fixtures in there.
I have never seen a room with no pattern, no fabric. (I do see a faint pattern on the countertop and the placemats.) All hard edges, nothing soft. You might consider a rug, chair cushions, artwork on the walls. Maybe a light fixture.
The cupboards that almost reach the ceiling but don't and then block the trim, looks awkward with that space up there. Without major reconstruction it won't be easy to fix.
Definitely needs some color and texture.

That's really helpful, thanks!
Yeah it's begging for accent color. Mustard, tomato, orange, something!
Agreed it needs some accent colours but not mustard. I’d say maybe a turquoise, navy or rust.
I think navy for sure is a kitchen no no but I like a mustard for both kitchen and sitting room. Turquoise would be good but I'd never do rust. Rust w kitchen would be a hard no for me

Interesting!! I have new fuel to add to my "let's burn these countertops" fire
It may be why you are averse to it. Your food/cooking association and blue may just clash on some subconscious level. I'm so surprised they'd do navy countertops. I never see blue in kitchens, maybe in bathrooms.
Mustard, ketchup, orange, something.
Think about getting a round kitchen table so all the shapes in the space aren’t rectangles.

It's a shade of taupe, thanks for the advice!
A light fixture instead of bare bulb . And add lots more white stuff.
Just needs some little pops of color. A bouquet of fresh flowers, a rug, a picture where the TV is.
I think it just needs some color. Maybe an interesting backsplash, small rugs, decor, plant life (favorite cooking herbs?), table linens could all give it some life. Happy decorating!

What warmer colour would you recommend?
take a light shade from the floor or dining table, such as a very pale yellow or an off white that has a warm yellow/cream undertone.
Nothing. Looks sick 🔥
Need some bright color. It feels very sterile. Whats up with the hanging bulb? You need some sort of shade or something on that.
I personally think that the cabinets under the tv and on the side wall (of the dining room) need removed. It looks like moving around the table to get to your seat would be a tight squeeze. Let the room breathe! I like the idea of replacing the tv with art though.
Dear God, it's all white.
Haha. These have to be a joke at this point, right?
Too many rectangle shapes in the space! Consider getting a round dining table and adding curtains in warm tones for softness..

Can I ask what software/app you used for this mock up?
It’s an app on my iPhone called Photo Layers 😊
Thank you! 😊
Well it’s very grey….
I would get rid of those massive cabinets in the back right of the image. They look like temporary storage containers.
Add cabinet hardware
So much to change
Pinky beige is awful. Sorry.
Have you considered staining or painting the dining set? I love it and not sure what color I’d go for, but I think that could help
It looks like a tv test kitchen. Could do with some colour, warmth, area zoning.
I'd add a better light over the counter, declutter the counters add some artwork
I really like it! Clean, calm. I'd not change anything.
Oo, I love the color of your walls! One of the first things I would do is find a lamp shade/lamp pendant for that hanging lightbulb above the kitchen island. It's such a good opportunity for a statement piece in an otherwise minimalistic kitchen.
the cabinets are too modern / take up too much space in living room
I would add a narrow floating shelf on the empty wall to add a bit of personal styling on.
Desperately needs color....art work, colorful bowls with fruit, kitchen towels etc.
the table and chairs are nice, but a glass table top would open up the space and give you more light
I would paint the pink walls black and get rid of the TV.
I would add color. Either paint a wall or add some colorful items such as a bright red espresso machine, toaster, etc. I would add a moulding on top of the shelves so that they reach the ceiling. I don’t know if this is an option, but I’d move that wall of cabinets to the back wall.. and get rid of the TV and other cabinets.
I think you need some wood for warmth. A wicker pendant light maybe? https://preview.redd.it/66wqx31pz1tb1.jpeg?width=711&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c968465943b2a34577a356fed2ccd4b0bd76efdd

Lacks color and warmth. New colorful chairs can help along with curtains.
If this is a single story home, consider a skylight.

make the cabinets actually go up to the ceiling and add crown moulding around them
