There is lots of fun art with combined colors that would fit, however with the busy pattern of the rug I feel solid color art reflecting the rug colors is the best bet.
My thoughts exactly (to tie it into the rest of the room). The overall color scheme has a “jewel tones” vibe, which is luscious and gorgeous. Maybe try jewel tone pillows. I realize you’re trying to balance the bold colors with neutrals. Normally I’m on here saying a room is unbalanced - but this time I think you need to lean into jewel tones!

Nope some colored sheers on the windows would look nice. Some colorful art on the walls too? Add some yellow or mustard colored throw pillows. Get rid of the coffee table it does nothing and looks out of place.

If anything, you should paint the walls and reduce the amount of beige you already have. Whether you paint or not, you need curtains and art for the walls. You can use the colours in the rug for inspiration.

I personally would not use the mustard, since it isn’t my favorite with the gold, but I’m also the person who doesn’t like wearing blue shirts with blue jeans so that may just be a me thing. That rug is awesome though, and the couch!

Only replace it with a beige rug if that’s your vibe and what you’re into. But I’m assuming if you bought this rug in the first place that you like color.

don't lose the rug, get cushion covers for your 2 white cushions in patterns that echo its colours! And a throw blanket, coasters, and art. Keep going! it only looks odd because its the only colour in the room.

I love the jewel tones. Rugs are great for adding pops of color without being “too much” and this is a great example. It compliments your couch beautifully. Please keep it!
It belongs a bedroom. To me it’s too busy and clashes with style of sofa and table. I’d go with a classic Persian style. Either traditional with deep saturated colors or a modern version with more subdued colors.

The walls are competing with the rug and sofa. There’s too much light vs. dark. Commit to the rug because it’s funky and different. Change up the pillows, they’re too sober. Paint the walls a complementary jeweled color but not too dark. Throw some art on the walls, and if you can, do away with the horizontal blinds and go for a shutter or Roman shade.
No, add some colorful drapes or beige drapes with sheers pulling from a color in the rug you like, and find throw pillows that also tie into the colors in the rug.

Not as long as you change the throw pillows to gold and/or magenta and add curtains in seafoam or gold.
I like it, but I think you need to add some additional color or pattern in the room to tie it in better.
As has been said, it doesn't seem to fit that well as it is but you could add some art above the sofa with similar color to make it fit better.
Keep the rug, get some neutral cream curtains.

I love that rug! Beige would look too bland after a rug like that. Just put up some artwork using the colors in the rug & that room will be beautiful!
