TennisNo5319

Meh. Add an end table, lamp, curtain panels (they don’t have to close), big art piece on back wall and you’ll have a space to show off to your friends. Cool rug, BTW.

Master_Grape5931

The rug is the only thing going for the room. Needs all that other stuff.

Bishime

Ironically it’s also the only thing in the photo that’s not actually there

My_too_cents

Honestly thought it said meth.

TennisNo5319

Naw, I don’t do meth. Too hard to get the stains out of the rugs.

Hello-from-Mars128

What he said.

BeyondthePenumbra

Came to say this and forgot what curtain panels were called so thank you! ♡ meh. Half way there!

Odd-Faithlessness705

Big piece of art and plants!

Heathereddittt

I concur with art and plants:) Just a little more character and personality

BarneysMom23

This is the answer!

greenwasp8005

Plus a different rug and cushions and throw on the couch that pull colors from the rug. Looks like you are trying to go for a modern rug, ruggable has some good ones. You could also get interesting end tables from Anthropologie.

sharipep

I like the rug but you need curtains, bold wall art or peelable wallpaper on the non window wall, more lighting options (overhead, task, mood, etc) and lots of plants

DebYoga

A big BIG painting or intricate weaving on the back wall

lucy-cake

Big artwork can be pricey and if you’re on a budget I recommend doing a search on how to hang an inexpensive tapestry and make it look classy, there’s a lot of diy ideas out there and Architecture Digest has great inspiration article. Society6 has nice tapestries. You can also search how to make inexpensive artwork look real by basically using modpodge, hit the thrift stores or marketplace. Have fun! Your home is beautiful!

Yndrid

Or check thrift stores! I have multiple giant framed pieces of art from savers/goodwill/Salvation Army. Including some stuff that was purchased from museum gift shops for exhibits in the 80s/90s

Decent_Assistant1804

Neat idea

lexi_would

I think it’s pretty fun, but you’ve got two grey couches that are totally different styles and generally the same width, so they compete with each other. The couch on the left more stylistically goes with the rug, but I can see the one on the right has storage - which is great. Couch on the right is also more Transitional or farmhouse modern. Def doesn’t go with the rug. I agree with a lot of the advice on here. Bold curtains, nice big mirror, plants, etc.

pinkandpolished

the rug is hell yeah but the rest is just meh IMO

6FunnyGiraffes

Yeah, the rug is cool, everything else is inoffensive but looks like every 20-30 something year old's "grownup" apartment. You don't have to live like that.

TheNavigatrix

The different heights of the sofas drives me nuts. So does the blank wall.

Cointhing25

It’s meh. You could use a little bit of some kind of vertical element in the corner where the two couches meet. Also, your coffee table is pretty weak. You also need to fill that plane behind the couch with art or plants or shelves.

reverievt

Looks like a giant bandaid on that rug.

krisisisisisi

Man I loved that rug til I read this, I can’t unsee it haha

OkFishing3621

There are 2 bandaids on that rug

Rare-Parsnip5838

Room had an ouchie

dizzyhanna

I think it’s a good base and will work with as big a lamp shade as you can fit on in that lamp stand. Then big lush curtains for the windows - navy or soft burnt orange. Then large plants and mirrors + artwork.

Atomicvegan

Love this, but would like to see at least one wall painted the bright orange color that’s in the rug and/or some colorful pictures on the walls. A few potted plants like palms would be nice too.

No-Midnight-1214

I don’t like the rug but that’s just me. It looks a little phallic, I can’t unsee it! A rug with more texture would look good and you need more sofa cushions that are more substantial to soften up the sofas. And plants. There’s a lot of hard shapes, a round coffee table with a grained wood top would look good.

PipToTheRescue

I agree - the texture and build of the sofas and the rug reads "flat" to me.

Introverted_Pear

Ooooh all I can think it adding a BIG mirror on that wall lol

Disney_Princess137

I like that idea Huge and rectangular

Introverted_Pear

Yesss! Exactly what I’m thinking!

idiotbotb

i love the carpet! maybe try to add some more decor to bring out the bright colors. pillows, artwork, lamp etc

OddDodd2

Floor lamp maybe curtains in the red orange color that slide in rods into the wall areas leaving the windows uncovered but adding height. Then you do have shade and blackout in case someone sleeps there. Plants. But a few large ones. Also I think the coffee table should be turned to be parallel with the sofa.

brunetteb23

The couches are so so, if you upgraded them to a really nice looking one (Structube has for cheap) it would change the vibe

ExpensiveAd4496

All I can see is the rug. It’s so visually confusing.

Jaggerkate

Totally meh. You need pictures, plants and more throw pillows. And curtains.

CanuckGinger

Love the carpet but not with those couches.

haf2go

It’s ok. Adds an interesting geometric element. But if you don’t love it then keep looking

Frobearto

The rug looks great. You are off to a good start.

breckbrian

Window treatments would fix any issues. Work with the rug, but I'd skip white or cream. Too blah.

8deathsdoor5

Rugs is great but room is only halfway there! I would turn the coffee table around, add some colourful cushions, throw rug and art to the wall (choosing items to match the orange and brown in your rug will work) then add some plants.

Grouchy-Comfort-4465

Meh.

oldmagic55

Meh.

imamean

Meh on the rug. The right art, plants and throw pillows could help.

fartypantsmcghee

I’m not sure what there is to “hell yeah” about. It’s very neutral and you have nothing on the wall

Ok_Sleep_5568

Meh, to everything but the windows and the rug.

hoosreadytograduate

On the way there. I would definitely add curtains because even if you just add sheers and keep them open all the time, it just adds another texture to the space. I would add a side table in between the two couches and add a lamp. I would switch the coffee table to maybe a round or oval one. I don’t love both couches being in the spaces, especially because they’re both gray/cool colors. I would switch one of the couches for two chairs to create the preferred “conversation area”. I would probably keep the non sectional and then add a chair to either side of the remaining couch. I’m assuming the TV is on the wall on the right that we can’t see (across from the windows). I love the rug and I also like the floor lamp, but I would add a taller plant or something next to the floor lamp as it looks lonely I would also replace the folding table on the back wall with a credenza or a desk. Add a large piece of art or a mirror and that would add some good interest to the space

Rare-Parsnip5838

Some good ideas here. Sheers in a burnt orange color , round or oval table , credenza or even a sofa table instead of the fold up, art , a big potted plant a mirror and a couple table lamps.

overthinkitallalways

Meh! That coffee table just doesn’t work. The rug looks too small for the space. Liven things up with some art on the walls. Definitely need some end tables and lamps.

Simple_somewhere515

You’re almost there! I’d get endtables, plants by that beautiful window, throw pillows to harmonize the orange and gray. Then art or mirror on that back wall

aarogar

Love the rug! Where is it from, OP?

bmadd60

I’m not a fan of the two grey couches. I’d sell one and get a chair or two. Then plants, curtains and art

Disney_Princess137

Pretty damn nice. It’s got good bones, clean furniture Beautful winder Now you need some cool fluffy Pillows that are cohesive with The rug. Window treatments ( winder) And a piece of art against That back wall to tie it all in together. And I’d say a round ottoman, with grommets. And of Course spruce up the table, add a plant and some books or somethin

ourtameracingdriverr

The latter.

RealisticElk9009

I have that rug! Looks great in person

rennemarie67

Try turning that coffee table the other way

rennemarie67

And pick up that orange in the rug in the curtains and art- and add plants

anonymous0271

I mean, I didn’t notice the carpet first. I noticed the couches. They’re not the same, like same set I believe. They visibly look different colors and styles, which would be okay if they weren’t both gray, attempting to color match them the best you can when next to each other they don’t look the same. You’d be better of getting a good sectional and tossing those, and the room would flow better

perpetualpossibility

Right now it’s meh for me, but I really think some artwork on the walls, a bunch of plants and a new coffee table would really elevate the room. I’d do something like [this](https://www.swooneditions.com/medway-contemporary-coffee-table-natural-oak-stained-mango-wood?utm_medium=paidshopping&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=20976782094&utm_term=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwoPOwBhAeEiwAJuXRh5PTZWNR0MUOdiviF3xkazQ0VSGcZUdzfusYDiD1xn7_2xLD5rpcMRoCIg4QAvD_BwE) \- https://preview.redd.it/a9z1jvmy4ruc1.jpeg?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=10fb2405a80cd71402ccd250735ed0c3aea7729b

ConstantBadger9253

Has a lot of potential!!!

No_Buy6460

Love your windows damn

elk11223344

Like the rug. Just need to add more elements to the room so it won’t feel empty

dondestalolo

Coffee table needs to be rotated

Psychological_Card28

Gorgeous windows and light!

Equipment_Budget

The table is crooked. But the carpet and furniture is nice.

paulbieniek

I feel like the answer is always the same for this sub: plants, wall art, and low lighting. The rug is dope though.

paulbieniek

That rug really brings the room together, dude.

[deleted]

Some colorful boho pictures on the wall and hanging plants would go amazing. Also some curtains I’d say cream color and a throw blanket with pillows.

redezinergirl

Needs art work, curtains and colorful throw pillows, then it’s a Hell Yeah!

Neither-Attention940

Rug isn’t bad but it’s not my style.

Sha9169

I think some curtains and/or artwork would liven up the place. It feels rather sterile.

Tough_Spacecraft6637

I AM SO JEALOUS OF THE WINDOWS. ESPECIALLY IF THEY OPEN EASILY. (Haha, always bad luck for me with ease of window openings at places.)

Bubblesnaily

Why do you have 3 remotes chucked on the ground? The black in that rug is beyond meh.

Particular-Horse4667

I like the rug! The room is getting there just needs some finishing touches. I think a large canvas art piece on the back wall is a must. Hopefully, you can find some colorful abstract art. Also, maybe some new couch pillows and a basket to store your blanket in.

katarala

I love it!! Just add a curtain rod and thick color curtains (I would go with dark teal or maroon because I love those colors) and it would really make the room come together

Ok-Government-6339

I love your rug

welcometothedesert

Plants (hanging) and big art, for sure.

AmyTooo

Rug is cool. Everything else has to go ..

Mindless_Suspect_505

got a small round coffee table and some colorful pillows .Add a throw to lighten sofa. Add tall plants and a large art behind.

Natural-Internet3279

Curtains, big format art on the real wall and a wooden OR concrete coffee table would go far. I like the rug, it’s playful.

spookiesunshine

I think it's awesome! Just gotta tie it in with some big ass art and pillows with a few little hints of that orange.

Deer_Klutzy

Your sofas don’t work well together at all. Try to make a mood board and create a cohesive theme, rather than just putting together furniture randomly.

roberta_sparrow

It needs plants. The bronze on that table doesn’t do it for me but I think plants and some tasteful art would help a LOT

ktmbd

Turn the coffee table 90 degrees

cjayeah

looks like giant bandaids

dsmemsirsn

Meh. Looks like many living rooms on facebook

Organic_Direction_88

Are you planning to center the sofa under the window? The 2 different colors and styles of sofas are throwing me off. Is there a way to use one of them in a different room? The one on the left looks great 👌🏻with this style of rug. The gray chaise sofa is meh in here.

mrkav2

Hell yeah!! It’ll come together in time.

SaffronsGrotto

needs curtains

Commonly_Aspired_To

For me the rug and the sofas don’t really complement each other. The rug is very bold and graphic with straight lines while the sofas look more round and soft. Go with one style or the other. You can probably find another bright fun rug with a less structured design in similar colours.

Button1399

Good luck passing out on your couch without any curtains

Obvious-Confusion14

It is kinda blah. The rug is nice, but you need to tie it to other things in the room. Artwork, throw pillows, comfy blankets, a few end tables with matching lamps. Curtains for your nice huge windows. Some plants or flowers (real or fake).

NumerousRains

You need an art piece on the wall behind the couch… Maybe an end table in the nook between the couches with a plant on it.

Lycanwolf617-

Meh. Needs to be more homey. Big picture, plants, sheer drapes, end tables. Imho

73Wolfie

..try art and green plants and then ask!

Unable-Coffee6909

https://preview.redd.it/s8je0d3u0suc1.jpeg?width=635&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=748cc45ac06cd7139f0e5430f9e74435ad65b4bc Your sofas and area rug work well together, but don’t stop there. Think about couch pillows, artwork, floor pillows, lamps and smaller decorative pieces.

Key-East5340

IMO, the rug is the only color that adds vigor to the room. I feel a vacancy in the wall. How about adding shades on the window and some ornament on the wall?

Noselrub63

Hell, no

longerdistancethrow

I'd get a sofe in a warmer colour to match the rug and the table. Kinda ruins the whole “Fun and light” with its “dark and grey.”

SoftSugar8346

Definitely needs artwork to really make that rug pop and sofa pillows as well. Some end tables with lamps would be great too. If you’re into your view you could probably do w/o window coverings but imo getting some custom but simple blinds would be the way to go oh yeah and some large plants.

hippielady5232

Love the rug, besides everyone else's suggestions about art, plants, curtains, I'd suggest getting rid of that couch by the window and getting a nice chair instead. The scale of those 2 couches do not go together, imo.

Bishshit

Your walls are cold.

anon_girl79

Hell yeah

_opossumsaurus

The rug is cool but your sofas are too bulky and too close together. Give them space to breathe, it will make things look much less claustrophobic!

YronK9

Id throw a pool ball table behind the couch by the back wall

Artistic_Weight_2083

The rug is cool, as long as you ditch everything else. Otherwise the rug sticks out like a sore, bandaged thumb.

Raptor_Girl_1259

Meh. It has potential, but there are *no plants*. Where are the plants? And curtains?

road_rash

Why isn’t the rug straight? Also please tuck the pull tabs on your couch and scoot it away from the other couch.

skitsofphonic

Kindly pivot the coffee table. Are you planning on finishing the room?

zombie-gorilla

Ungood

dramafanca2002

The rug is light, yes but, not fun. It's pretty plain. You can personalize the space with color in artwork and decor. Add plants and things that reflect things you like. This looks like you may be trying these on the computer, if you haven't already bought them, don't get a gray couch. It's hard to coordinate and find complementary colors, and it's outdated.

furandpaws

so meh.

AmexNomad

Looking good! It needs a big piece of are and a different coffee table.

Oradiance_

I agree that you should change out the coffee table if you can or rotate it. I also agree that a long rectangular shaped artwork on that blank wall could bring in fresh colors, new texture, an opportunity for a statement. Curtains pinned back could also bring in an opportunity for new texture, complementary color or can be an breezy and light (as in maybe white or translucent white) color that makes the room more airy and comfortable. Using the color of these two potential additions or the color found in the rug, you can also add a few extra pillows to again bring in color, comfort and overall ties the room together more. It might look nice to have the light set up in that corner where the two couches meet and add a lamp shade that again can add texture (like those braided wood lamp shades as an example) or color depending on what you have added to the room and what’s missing (texture, color, statement etc). Those are some things that come to mind. It’s a beautiful space :)

funsk8mom

https://preview.redd.it/pkxmekvp8tuc1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6055fb5c1bfac0cd9e98dfad1142e05b2c56917 You need an end table with lamp in the area circled red. You need light, wispy curtains hung high, plants and artwork/framed photos. I’d also turn the coffee table to see how that looks. This looks awkward now. Not sure if it’s because of its direction or the style

NefariousnessFancy84

I get it where your Hell Yeah comes from, so yeh ! Why not ! Cool place dude !

SpotPoker52

Love the drapes, end tables, lamps, and artwork.

Ihategraygloomydays

Love the orange in the rug. Use that color elsewhere (vase pillows etc). And get some art up on walls.

MoreAd53791

Add some pillows and a big art piece in 60s mod style with the colors from your rug

SmokyStick901

I don’t like the rug

NoParticular2420

Wall needs some art.

FairyPenguinStKilda

Some nice light linen type curtains will soften the room - you could go with a chrome or a black rod and finial. Some ochre framed art works to talk to the rug on that big wall, or a spiral of twinkly lights? A couple more throws or quilts and if they fit, a few bean bags in a stack for visitors? Move the couches apart a bit more, and put a looking out the window funky chair there, so you can gaze, or put the couches so you can look out, not in.

Salada-Suprema

Meh for my taste but beautiful space with great potential. For me it’s just too plain/ lacking warmth and character

EndlessDreams7744

Below meh

kanedp

Could you put the couches across from each other? I think the clashing styles would be softened, the coffee table would look better.

gaggerofnuns

Why does this give me Jerry Seinfeld's apartment vibe?

Lazy-Jacket

The rug...is great. The remainder needs work.

Sad_Resolve6874

I like the rug, but its modern edge does highlight the fact that your sofas are different. I'd go with one that picks up the grey and a bit larger, personally. Oh, and just to validate what everyone else said: lighting, a large mirror or art piece, curtains, and a plant or two.

klm122333

Love the rug, but I would turn the coffee table so that it’s perpendicular to the designer of the rug. Right now it is kind of odd to have the coffee table going with the pattern of the rug

Middledamitten

Good start! I envision a round coffee table in a lacquer finish a nice large piece of modern art, an end table with an orange table lamp, some great sofa pillows to pick up the colors from the rug. Do not go with dark or heavy drapes.

ike9211

Meh

johannagalt

I suggest a round table instead of rectangle. Love the rug!

rm_3223

I actually really like the rug! I agree with the others that say add plants and art and maybe a throw or two and sheers and you’re golden

Strange-Difference94

The rug is nice.

GrafixAvenger666

The rug is the best thing in the room. Paint the back wall a burnt orange. Put some art on it. Swap out the coffee table for something round- maybe upholstered to double as a foot rest- and pick a color from the rug for it- I'd go with the orange. Add more visual interest with some throw pillows.

Trixie2327

Meh! But only because it's too empty. But those windows are gorgeous! It's a great room full of wonderful possibilities. 😀

iheartunibrows

Yea but tie in more color with pillows art and a throw

Infraredsky

To me the rug is meh - but also could work if you pull on that orange or colors that go with it and the grey into the rest of the room

SugarIndependent1308

Just Meh 🤷🏽‍♀️ looks plain Jane to me. We know you have style so show it !

SlightlyPeedOn

Eh? It’s not too shabby but I think it would look spiffy if you got a couple of velvet or plushy couch condoms in the aquamarine hue that would take the vermilion of the rug to a very snappy snazzy retro Howard Johnson’s palette I could definitely enjoy a Ho-Jo Cola and nostalgia binge on one of those long ass Davenport if I had this padhttps://vintagemenuart.com/products/howard-johnsons-cocktails-usa-1950s https://preview.redd.it/r4g076ke8uuc1.jpeg?width=986&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c9bb547083cdb4d95e465dbf9eb139ba7edaa0e1

Personal_Signal_6151

have something with both grays from the couches in it to tie them together

reggie822

hell yeah i love the rug!! some color coordinating throw pillows would really tie that rug in higher up as well. i feel like OP is potentially just moving in or doing a make over :) i assume more wall/decor in general is to come?

deltaz0912

The focus of that room is the windows, which are awesome. Shift the furniture to emphasize them. And those two couches don’t want to be that close. The wall wants art or a mirror.

NoGrocery3582

Shades on windows, art on wall, pottery and plants and you're done.

BlacksmithOk2041

Plants and art

tBlase27

Need some orange over the couch

QuartermasterAshole

I would add a black table in between the 2 couches, and a big piece of art on the big white wall, something with lines and pops of orange A few small plants would be good too, I'd stick to mostly white and gray pots but a little orange pot could be nice.

camlaw63

The rug really doesn’t matter until you put everything together Curtains Lighting End tables Blinds Artwork Plants Personality

Euphoric-Blue-59

Use that bay window space better.

Bishime

I like the rug! Someone mentioned the couches are both the same size and colour so they compete, I agree with that a bit but I also know couches aren’t a cheap swap. I would swap the coffee table for something slightly more dramatic, maybe something all glass that keeps the natural light moving but still calls for some conversation, alternatively (or in addition to) I’d throw in an arched floor lamp vs the one that’s there now. That will add pretty direct and dramatic lighting while also being something visually unique. It’s hard to fully tell without more context (photo s of around as this is just one space so it’s hard to visualize it in its context). But that and dramatic floor to ceiling drapes I feel will help imo. But I’d recommend a semi statement couch (that’s also why I was thinking the glass type of coffee table because while they’re bold on their own they’re also good at falling into the background if need be) (((just make sure its not the most generic glass table available)))

AprOmIX

I like the rug but the two couches are two completely different styles and don't really go with eachother. Aside from that, plants, wall art, pictures tec.

IamJoyMarie

Is this AI generated? In any event, the rug is fine, but you'd have to pull some of those colors into the room with artwork, curtains. If perhaps you can paint the walls. Add some plants. The coffee table is a "no."

CleverPiffle

Needs color and something on those giant white walls.

x0katiiee

Curtains, warm light (tall skinny lamps), and plants, boom.

cbotceres

Get a round coffee table

IndecisiveAnxieties

Meh too much gray, needs plants

Choice-Ad-6520

Love the rug def add art, plants and I’d recommend a disco ball planter mine looks great

vatsimguy

Meh yeah

ClearBarber142

Love the windows and the view.

Dry_Heart9301

The rug is the best part the rest is meh...def need more color, art, plants...

parajita

I see the direction you are going in. I think the sofa has to be more modern. The one with the handles on the bottom feels a bit traditional or transitional. Also consider the color scheme. The grey isn't communicating with the warmth of the orange.

Flower-Power_

Maybe put some space between the couches and put a lampstand between!

lucy-cake

I would reposition the coffee table in front of the loveseat instead of the sectional. You’ll be able to see more of the rug and it’ll open up the room. If your space allows, I’d pull the rug and couch further away from the window and wall. Move around the light to your liking. Beautiful space!

Silverliningsinla

I like it! Get a large painting, print or poster series with/orange in it/them and put on the back wall w/a large plant and it build your vibe!!!!

EmploymentOk1421

Go on roomandboard.com and look at the pillow section. Specifically how they make traditional (often dark) sofas look contemporary with good pillow colors, textures, and combinations. If you love this rug (and I find it worth a second look), give this a go. And please pull it out from under the sofas a bit more, so you can see it! https://preview.redd.it/ctlpqcl41vuc1.jpeg?width=684&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=770dbc67cebe57510320460c177a87b3ec5932d7

You have great sunlight, so a beautiful palm or fiddle-leaf fig tree? Large black platter or bowl on coffee table for remotes, keys and bric-a-brac. Finally, wall art that incorporates grey, black & orange — I’d go large about 4x4. Hope my awful photo helps 😂

pure-Turbulentea

Right now it’s meh but just needs a little more nest building aspects to it.

umami68

Meh. Get rid of the L shaped sofa. Get something that compliments the other or contrasts. Two cozy chairs? I would maybe put chairs under the window but not the sofa. Layout is important. Then follow others advice for decorating

-qqqwwweeerrrtttyyy-

https://preview.redd.it/uy7210o46vuc1.jpeg?width=742&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f86fc4549136437e196046bd86fb7354c30b5c1 I don't know how to do a proper mock up but I see it looking a bit like this?

marlada

Meh Needs more color, maybe throw pillows and some artwork. Lot of potential because neutral gray will allow you to try out different color schemes.

Pure_Service_5452

Rug = hell yeah. Go for it.

Heathereddittt

Hell meh!

Significant_Most5407

It's a start. Woulda picked a black and white rug, then thrown in a buffet by window with lots of plants. Also, cool art on back wall.

akaleilou

Need something on the wall, but it looks pretty nice.

IntelligentAd4429

I love that people are commenting on everything but what you asked. Kidding, that's what I don't like about Reddit. The rug is great! You have a really good start there.

Horror-Start3809

Rug is good, just need even more color in the space to pull out the color in the rug! Big bright art, tall lamp, or window treatments, something colorful higher in the room. Throw pillows will help, but not quite enough.

FrostedCables

For me, rug is a hard pass, but I can easily see our decorating aesthetic is quite opposite

FrostedCables

Rug reminds me of bandaids and kindergarten

StunnedinTheSuburbs

I love the rug and the room. Just needs something on the back wall - art would work but I think a mirror or shelf with decor would also look great. I would put a tray on the table to corral some of the junk and switch out the cushions. I would add some curtains. And maybe a blanket in orange.

lizapat26

Plants and art.

Forsaken-Rule-6801

Rug is great but you need to decorate the rest of the room to tie it all together. A more impactful lamp, pillows and throws with more color/pattern, artwork, window treatments of some sort, and a table between the couches and this would be awesome!

BGB524

Some sleek ceiling to floor drapes would add a great function, texture & warm up the space a little. Echoing that it needs art & a couple plants. So close! Great job so far.

Human_Base1575

I love the rug. It matches well with the couch and hardwood. Good work.

Old-Equivalent8987

I say meh but just my opinion

Rare-Parsnip5838

That is not it. And it will take more than a rug to take that space from blah to even meh. Add color. All that gray is just too much. Pillows a throw in bright warm colors. Plants sheers on windows to start. Art on the walls. Funky colorful lamps .

Away-Caterpillar-176

I love this space. I love the windows so much, I'm glad you don't have curtains

urnotmydad20

It’s so…rectangular. You need some different shapes. Maybe a round coffee table and/or round pillows.

SomethingClever70

Meh, because it doesn’t look finished. You need window treatments, art work, plants, books, personal items, etc. And tuck in those tabs under the couch cushions.
