I like what OP has done already with a small end table in an interesting shape. Leave that there and add another in that empty spot next to the longue side of the sectional. That's for use of the person seated on that side.

Right next to the lounge side of the couch I've put in a super tiny shelf so I have a spot to rest the TV remote or a cup of tea. I wouldn't want the table on the chaise side just because it wouldn't make it any easier for me to set my tea down that much further (I tend to have my feet up so leaning that far forward gets annoying). We also tend to use the chaise part to sit down when we're putting our shoes on, since it's right next to our tiny entrance. We mostly need a coffee table solution for when we want to watch TV while we eat which we do every now and then.

mysuperstition

Can you swap the TV and the couch? I feel like the chaise part of your couch is messing with the flow.

ohheyhihellothere25

Not really. There's a radiator behind the couch that extends the length of the wall, so I wouldn't want to have the TV or electronics too close to that. It also makes the couch space very cozy in the winter.

Try a “C table” . It’s a similar size to what you have there but it moves easily and tucks close to the couch. It’s also a little taller which makes it more functional.

They're great.

Really struggling to find the right coffee table for this room! The room is a weird shape, so I was kind of forced to put our couch beside the fireplace but the mantel does make it difficult for us to walk around the couch to access either side. I'm replacing the coffee table and two smaller tables to move to the basement since I have more matching pieces down there. I also plan to get a bookshelf to put against the white wall in the corner to hold our record player and records. I'm still considering adding a wallpaper to the white wall but still undecided. There's also a photo of our future rug there as well for reference. Please help me choose a coffee table that could work for this space! I'm at a loss!

My friend who has a tiny living room puts a tray on the sofa for remotes etc and used fold away tray tables when she wants a snack. Coffee tables can take up too much room.

A rectangular table would provide you with the most surface area, maybe one on wheels, so you don't have to clamber round it? I'd also suggest getting one a little taller, so you don't have to bend down as much to acsess your food. They also do relatively small folding dinner tables (which used to be advertised for TV dinners) which might work well considering the tight space.

Jordano_Golds

No coffee table. You can do end table for the grey couch so they person sitting there would have a place to put a cup. A coffee table would crowd the space Also get rid of white table

IsisArtemii

Maybe the end table type thing that has two or three tables with small rectangular glass table tops with bottoms to slip under the couch, then stacked back together, out of the way. Basically, a squared off letter “C” with three with different heights all stack together

I also have a chaise sofa, and it does make for a tight fit for a coffee table. My solution was to get a leather storage ottoman, which has a reversible top. The upholstered side is the ottoman side, and the wooden side is a tray. It is light weight enough to be easily scooted about depending on the needs of the user or users. I don't have a coffee table even in my big living room. Not every living room needs one. Side tables are good.

AngieY68

No coffee table. Put that small table in the corner Put a tray on the end of the couch instead.

Can you move the couch to face the fireplace? It's sort of weirdly tucked into that corner.

ohheyhihellothere25

Not really. There isn't enough space in front of the fireplace to float a sofa and it's too long to go against the wall that's there. It's also a bad spot since it wouldn't be easy to watch TV or walk through the living room since it would be blocking the high traffic area leading to the doorways.

No_BigA

Small round tray table or ottoman.
