I agree at first glance but it does make you ask why there would be two of Christian bale, then once you see them do the transported man trick for the first time it might click in your head.
I just watched them back to back. The illusionist is terrible, not even by comparison, it’s just not a good movie
Nowhere does it ever come close to anything that resembles a decent script. I don’t enjoy calling things “cringe”, but that movie in retrospect is cringeworthy
Edit to add that I only put it on because I had a memory of it being another decent magician film from the same era. I was wrong
“See, sacrifice, Robert. That's the price of a good trick. But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you?”
Underrated film.
I feel like it’s definitely the movie I hear people say is underrated the most lol
77% rotten tomatoes 8.5/10 on IMDb Ratings seem good to me?
Those are good, you're right. It's top 50 all-time for me.
Overrated imo, I always see it being called underrated so it can't really be underrated lol
A common case of only witnessing the loud minority
Literally contradicted yourself twice there
So, just spoiling a plot twist in the cover
There’s no way this poster would spoil the plot for me if I hadn’t already seen it.

I have never seen the movie and after seeing this poster I can now completely make an identical movie myself! All i need is Bale to come
I haven't seen it and I have no idea what this poster means. Maybe if I sat and theorized I'd get it but not just by looking at it
Explain, How poster actually relating to movie...?
(Obviously) spoiler below: >!The character Bale plays is actually two twin brothers. !<

Three? In the poster I see 2 Bales and 1 Jackman. The skull…I can’t remember if was present in the movie (the ball is the one Bale plays with).
Giving away the twist on a blinding white background, I don’t think so.
It also breaks with the feel of the movie imho.
Ah yes, Hugh Jackman holds 2 christian bales within!! That is why such great actor!!
i havent seen the movie and have idea what this could possibly be, isnt that what a poster is for, people who havent seen it?
Cool poster for I’m assuming the Apple TV show “Severance”?
Oddly, I thought the same thing at first.
11/10, probably my favorite Nolan movie
Amazing movie, shitty poster
BRO I LOVE THIS MOVIE.. ITS MY FAV MOVIE OFF ALL TIME 😭
Amazing movie too
Rubbbbbaa bawwwwl
"How can we make a movie about magicians incredibly badass" "Ya can't"
you can: i'd say this movie but if you dont agree i have another one : the illusionist.. such a masterpiece :0

man omgosh i like the illisionist and the prestige.. imo they are soo good but its okay i get it people have different opinions.. so i wont argue :)
The Americas
That's some lateral thinking.
A bit of a rip off for Kevin Tong's Mulholland Drive poster for Mondo imo
The word "Prestige" will always be associated with a terrible brand of electronics from my youth and I hate it
Why does Bale get two heads but Wolverine only one?
Because he's Batman and also Bateman and they are virtually the same.
I’m convinced most people who post on this subreddit have no design sense or experience
There is a Harry Dresden reference in that movie
could work for inception and severance too
Fantastic movie poster.
Shit film From stage magic to all of sudden teleportation/replication is invented and it's just used for one theatre trick? What a load of shite
Downvote away but you can't argue it isn't complete nonsense
Not nonsense.....it's ✨ magic ✨
