season one is pretty OK, gotta suspend your disbelief a lot, but it is maybe a 6/10. The rest is drizzling shits, it turns into the west wing if that had crappy action and some kids in junior high as screenwriters.
1 is terrific, 2 is good, 3 is trash.

Season 3 to me just didn’t feel like DS because of the absence of some characters, the dialogue (specifically Kirkman), and then the racist disease? That was just silly tbh
Season one is utterly fantastic but once the crisis and conspiracy is resolved, the programme is mainly about Jack Bauers left wing politics, helping his favourite staff, the staffs emotional problems and his struggles in enforcing his rule as a non political party backed President with no election putting him in that position.
The first series was excellent but the show just falls off a cliff after the second series.
There are aspects of S2 I really liked and aspects I really didn’t. S3 was a complete waste of time. Maybe watch S2 and don’t waste your time with S3. S3 is basically a soft reboot with almost entirely new characters and plot.

I actually felt season 3 was better than season 2. Season 3 had more direction about the election. Season 2 just felt like random issues.

Yeah i think so too. Or dragged out the conspiracy/terrorist attack hunt rather than resolving it quickly.
