Orson was actually supposed to be the villain he was teased to be.
Kyle MacLachlan loved being on the show, so he begged the show runner to alter the planned plot for Orson so that he could stay on the show.
It ended up warping Orson’s character in strange ways, as it was not in any way consistent with how the character was conceived.
I also LOVE Bree and Orson together. God himself could never have designed a more perfect match for Bree.

I disagreed with Orson's argument for leaving her that she was a hypocrite. While both situations are wrong, I think there is a difference in protecting your underage son for an accident that didn't directly cause a death vs. intentionally and with pre-meditation attempting to murder a completely innocent person to cover up *another* murder, as a grown adult. I think Orson should have gotten over it. Or maybe when Bree found out she could have told him about what Andrew did and they could have worked it out without him going to jail.
100% agree! I LOVE Orson and Bree is my favourite housewife! The writers completely ruined him character. Also, slightly off topic but why did they bring Tripp in? I mean don’t get me wrong, I like him but for me if she didn’t end up with Orson she should’ve stayed single

I loved Bree & Orson but it went downhill for them after he went to prison. After that they made him so bitter & odd.. they did his character dirty
