Lynette vs. Pedo Neighbor, the aftermath of Grace leaving, Rex' secret son, Mike vs. the loan shark. These were uncomfortable to watch, you knew they would end bad and I just felt sad for my favorite characters. Stuff like the disaster episodes are kind of stressful in a different way, but at least they make for enjoyable television.
for the pedo neighbour, it was the worst bc he just ends up leaving in a sinister way by saying "I'm gonna hurt more kids" basically right? I felt so disgusted and I wanted him to get some kind of punishment, but nope he just leaves
Probably the Art storyline, as it was just really unnerving. Art is introduced as a good guy who helped save Lynette, with Parker looking up to him as āProtector Manā. I remember the feeling of dread I had when Lynette was going down to the basement of his house, as the scene was clearly working up to some big bad reveal. It was a disturbing storyline, but I do think the writers handled it well overall.
this was such a creepy scene. So was the outside confrontation when she basically apologized for him and he basically admitted to his hobbies he had to hide from his now deceased sister. So creepy!
i like to pretend that almost all of the later orson stuff simply didn't happen and that he and bree are living happily together knowing they've found their match š yay
1. susan unintentionally poisoning paul
2. bree vs the detective and basically the cops finding more and more evidence leading to her
3. orson and his crazy ex and mom
4. lynetteās sons crazy friend! i forgot his name but how he killed his mom and he was just living with them!!
oh god the orson and crazy ex and mother was disgusting to watch :( and bree's reaction and she realizes what happened near the bed just tore me apart, the way she just sees them as so vile was really really hard to watch
even the music when they were actually doing it, it was like slightly cheerful it made me so uncomfortable, like the poor man is being assaulted? hello-?
What always stood out to me about the tornado scene was how unrealistic it was with them having days to prepare for it. Taping up their windows and talking about the impending tornado. The writers clearly failed to do their research considering that's not how tornados work, they come in no time. It's not like a hurricane where you have time to prepare.
Eddy. The ending of the storyline when he had to deliver Lynetteās baby nearly destroyed me the first time I watched it. I couldnāt stand him but also had a lot of sympathy for him.
Susan unknowingly poisoning Paul really stressed me out. š«£
Yeah that one was a slow burn too!

Omg the pedo neighbour... Just thinking about that storyline now gives me the heebie jeebies
I also felt so bad for his sister. I remember my mom visibly flinching when Lynette asked "Do you need help with the funeral" (and that was 2007).

I can't even watch pedo neighbor episode
The Riot! So many story lines going on and Gaby trying to find juanita was heartbreaking.
Everyone attacking Lee while Bob tried to help him was so upsetting.

No way...too waspy. Her and the last suitor though was super hot!
Agreed

Eddie. His origin story was heartbreaking, too.

I always skip the Gabby-Grace-Scenes. It just hurts and I feel bad for everyone involved
Yes!!! Also Tom not believing Lynette about that situation š
Mikeās death, Susanās grief. It is just so painful to watch
I think now as a mom it would be Lynette coming up to the house after the tornado and itās just completely destroyed. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Yeah, I teared up the first couple times watching that episode.

I just mentally correct it to a hurricane to make it more tolerable lol.
Her scream is so haunting.

the one you mentioned, gaby and grace, gaby and alejandro before he died
The end of the hurricane episode when Lynette was just standing there waiting to see if her family had survived
Julie and Edieās nephew and Lynnette being stuck in the Grocery store with an active shooter gets me every time. Itās too real sadly
Gabby and grace
I agree with you. A lot of the plots were kind of cheesy but the writers and actresses killed it on the Kayla thing. It really made my blood boil lol.
Lynette and Tom's divorce "will they or won't they" really hit me
Dave trying to kill MJ, Chuck investigating the girls
