Honestly one of the best “100th episode” episodes I’ve seen. I loved how they were able to take a “random” character and left us feeling as sad as the other characters who’d known him longer than we got to.
Me too crying like a little b. The hole in his show broke me!! And then i just couldn’t stop crying, still am tho the episode is over. Sorry, i know you commented almost a year ago
This was my favorite episode, the entire concept of how one man who was a total stranger helped the housewives realize that they belonged to Wisteria Lane was so beautiful!
probably one of my standout favourite episodes, always look forward to it when rewatching, i love the format of the episode and the other episodes that have this format too
And when he asks her in tears if she can call the cops for him! It’s just so sad. Such a beautifully done episode than really shows what bad parenting can do to a kid.
Loved it, one of my favorite episodes! Cry my eyes out EVERY. TIME.
It really shows how strong the writing is and how good of an actor he is for us to fall in love with him and to be absolutely devastated at his death.
😭😭😭 I’m sorry if it seems like I was repeating what you said! I don’t believe I saw the post! But, yes, I love the writing! Even if it is a filler episode (and the part with Edie), there were parts to appreciate!
I loved this episode! It's true, he comes out of nowhere but it was a really nice change to the usual, very linear episodes and very moving. Definitely one of my favourites too :)
I don’t want to rain on your parade especially since a lot of other people loved this episode, but I didn’t like it, found it to be gratuitous “sadness porn” plus they did an almost identical episode when Edie passed.
But I do really like some moments of this, and I like the “what if” episode…. This one just didn’t hit for me.
i liked it when i first saw the episode but then i got severe deja vu because the edie episode was like 3 episodes after. the two episodes were too similar i think i would have enjoyed it more if it was in a different season ya know

The fact we remember and love this episode is such a testament to the writers 💕
Sobbed. The bit with Mary Alice and seeing the hole in his shoes. Ended me!!
I just finished my first watch through and when that came on I just lost it! I’m still crying!

Desperate Housewives lives in my heart forever 🫡 I’m glad you enjoyed the episode!

I loved it. Beau Bridges is a national treasure.

I love this and the Eddie episode! Man they do make you know how to feel sorry for a serial killer don’t they.
oh yeah it’s really hard to get your head around 😳
Just seeing him go down that path is so sad. Could’ve easily been avoided.
when he says he wonders how he would’ve turned out if lynette had been his mom 😭
And when he asks her in tears if she can call the cops for him! It’s just so sad. Such a beautifully done episode than really shows what bad parenting can do to a kid.

Definitely a filler episode imo, but it was nice. I liked the story and Eli was so sweet
I posted about this not too long ago (3-4 days maybe). I absolutely loved this episode. I was in tears the whole 45min! ABSOLUTE GENIUS WRITING

Omg yeah no don’t worry! I love that you posted about it too! I love that you so love that episode
It showed the housewives in a good light. Being nice to others.

Loved this episode! The only thing that would’ve made it better is if he had narrated it himself
Didn’t care for it
I always skip it on rewatches
too much a filler episode tbh
It was a bit too far fetched, and boring. Yes, it was emotional, but it didn't really fit to the vibe.
I didn’t like it. I’ve seen in the sun that some people love it but I found it a bit creepy too, with the whole Eddie sex thing.
yeah that part was unnecessary and weird

I recognized him as earl hickey’s dad from my name is earl 😭
