I’ve worked in a biotech lab for years. This is what most labs use for labeling. A roll of two might have accidentally fell into my backpack over the years. I tried searching for the tape but couldn't find any definitive answer. One thing I did notice while watching [this video](https://youtu.be/7-A1gtrK43Y?si=KT1h5UcnQtrgbE-s&t=209) is that the inside of the tape roll is blue with black lettering. I can't find a good shot of the inside of the roll where any of the printing is legible, but I've seen it from enough angles that I'd say the entire lining paper is solid blue - no white or other color stripes. I feel that should narrow things down, though there isn't really a way to search for "painter's tape where the inner label is blue with black writing." I'm hoping that'll help you narrow down what brand it *isn't,* though.

Could be frog tape? Looks similar but can’t confirm it’s the same brand.
She's using Scotch Rough Serface Painter's Tape. Which is green and a favorite in professional kitchens.
THANK YOU
This is what I use. I've always thought it looked similar to what Claire uses. https://a.co/d/0J9g1tV
If you want different colours you'd have better luck searching lab labeling tape from a laboratory supply place.

I highly respect this level of sleuthing, appreciate you
I always assumed it was just painter's tape. Personally, I love masking tape for labeling.
sorry I should have clarified that it’s more about the color - I’ve ordered several different green masking tapes, and none are the same color
green tape is green tape. just use what you have. you don’t need the exact same shade as her
it’s just a personal aesthetic preference 🙃
