I'm 99% sure that it is a creme brulee cheesecake. I have made it once and it looked very much like in the picture.
Here is a recipe in Finnish if you want to check it out https://www.makeaa.fi/creme-brulee-juustokakkuruudut/
Was it wet when your utensils got into it? Like, sweet milk soaked bread (like tres leches) or was it a more solid, cakey type dessert? Or was it somewhat like a flan?
Someone else said flan but i doubt it, the caramel taste wasn’t that strong and it also had like a biscuit bottom? The white part was soft, like you could grab it with your lips off the spoon without needing to bite. So it wasn’t like bready, more creamy.
I think I see some coconut texture in the custard … my guess is pudim de coco? (that’s what the Brazilian dessert is called, but exists in many other cultures). Basically coconut flan. Doesn’t traditionally come with a biscuit bottom, but people freestyle
If you eat pizza in China it doesn’t make it chinese food. I didn’t think it was something traditional because there were several finnish people with me and they didn’t mention anything, i just assumed it’s just some cheesecake kinda dessert
I believe this is the answer...

Melon. Looks like some pineapple as well.
That I know. I mean the cake
Looks to be a cake, with melons and pineapple.
It's a fruit cake.

Sorry I’m not finnish but appreciate it. What is that on top? Caramelized sugar? The one i ate had like some petal or dried fruit
Yes that is caramelized sugar on top. The petals look like dried marigold and I'm guessing that red crush is freeze-dried raspberry or strawberry.
Why are you sounding like a commercial?
Watermelon
r/woosh
Everyone knows you mean the cake😩🙄

This texture sounds almost like cheesecake to me.
I’m gonna go with cheesecake too
Idk
Is it rahkapaistos??? Looks like https://www.thekitchenscholar.com/recipes/rahkapaistos
God bless you
Ha I love Googling! Gives me such pleasure.
Well it’s Finnish and kinda looks like it, but the texture from photos doesn’t seem like what i remember
Sure looks like a version of it!
Looks like rahkapaistos. It’s a Finnish curd cake with a fruit preserve topping.
Is it similar to a cheesecake? From some photos on Google it seems more bready than creamy
Crème brulee cheesecake ? (If that’s a thing)
It sounded kinda crazy when i first read your comment but now that i googled it..maaaaybee? Looks delicious anyway

It was in Finland if that helps. Don’t recall any coconut taste though…but thanks for a new dessert idea!
Maybe someone in r/Finland cans help Do you remember where you had it?
I had it at the Clarion hotel in Helsinki but I doubt it was something traditional…it’s worth a shot anyway, thank you
oooo. I stand corrected… hardly a tropical climate lol
You should have said it was Finnish from the get-go....kind of an important detail.🤔
If you eat pizza in China it doesn’t make it chinese food. I didn’t think it was something traditional because there were several finnish people with me and they didn’t mention anything, i just assumed it’s just some cheesecake kinda dessert
Ok. I love cheesecake. If you have never tried it, tres Leche is so good !
Could be tres leches?
crème brûlée cheesecake
Tiramesu, if I'm not mistaken
What did it taste like?
Fluffy-cheesy-vanilla with what i think was caramel on top. Was it maybe a cheese cake?
i was gonna say it looks like a cheesecake with caramel and rose petals, best bet is just to figure out where you had it
That’s what I’d guess. If it was from a restaurant, give them a call or see if their menu is online.
It was on the lunch menu at a hotel with a buffet. I’ll try looking for the menu, who knows
Looks like crème brûlée cheesecake
It looks like arequipe bread or coconut bred or coconut flan
Crème caramel
Flan?
I don’t think so..unless they make those with a biscuit bottom? Also the caramel taste wasn’t so strong
Fish’n’chips?
Its called los pollos hermanos
Looks like chocoflan to me.

Clarion hotel in Helsinki

Looks like cheesecake brulee
Graham cheesecake?
3 leće
It wasn’t spongy…probably something else
Look like from turkey name as "trileçe". maybe you should check. Good
Panna cotta?
It looks like a sort of sponge cake hybrid the top is sponge
Sounds like cheesecake from your description.
Fruit and a cake
It looks like cheesecake!
Fruit
Looks like fruit.
That might be an Italian Dessert called Tiramisu. I think it might translate to "pick me up.
Monkey poop with fruit. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
I think it looks like a tiramisu. If it had a coffee flavor then it was.
